Position: Software Engineering Manager
Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Reports to: Vice President, Software Engineering
Overview:
We are looking for a strong engineering leader who can build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams while delivering resilient, mission-critical SaaS solutions.
Job Summary:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead 2 - 3 Agile teams of 12+ Software Engineers and QA Engineers responsible for designing, building, and supporting cloud-based SaaS applications hosted in AWS and Azure.
You will lead delivery of cloud-based SaaS applications hosted in AWS and Azure, while building a high-performance engineering culture aligned with global product strategy.
This role requires strong technical depth, proven team leadership, and the ability to collaborate daily with Product and Architecture leaders in India, Europe, and the United States.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams in our Vijayawada office.
- Set clear goals and manage performance through structured feedback and career development.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and career development initiatives.
- Build a culture of accountability, quality, and ownership.
- Drive retention and engagement within the Vijayawada office.
Technical & Delivery Leadership
- Guide architectural discussions and ensure sound engineering decisions.
- Drive adoption of best practices in code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Ensure on-time delivery of scalable, resilient SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate closely with U.S. Product Managers and local Product Owners to translate roadmaps into execution plans.
Operational Excellence
- Establish structured on-call processes and incident response practices.
- Improve reliability, deployment automation, and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar technical major is strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack web application development (Java and/or .Net, SQL, REST APIs).
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports in an Agile environment.
- Experience delivering SaaS products hosted in AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript and ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud architecture.
- Experience managing production support in high-availability systems.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to help build, operate, and continuously improve the secure cloud platforms that power Juvare’s mission-critical enterprise resilience solutions. In this role, you’ll partner with Engineering and Security to deliver reliable, scalable SaaS environments.

Must Have
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure; with a cloud-agnostic mindset
- Solid database operations experience (backup/restore, replication, performance tuning, access management)
- Experience with Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Exposure to security tooling (WAF, SIEM, vulnerability management)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience in production operations (incident response, on-call, RCA)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system design
- Ability to support multiple SaaS products and environments
Nice to Have
- Multi-cloud or hybrid architecture experience including GCP
- Cost optimization and performance tuning
- Experience supporting global deployments
- Jira / Confluence experience
- Experience supporting multiple products and environments at scale
- Experience with Okta, including workflows, application integrations, SSO/MFA, lifecycle management, and identity automation
- Strong focus on automation, efficiency, and cost optimization
- Ability to handle high-volume operational workloads
- Strong collaboration with global teams
