POSITION SUMMARY:
The prime responsibility for this position is proactively managing the sales and profit potential of assigned territory Customers and Distributors, with the objective of maximizing sales, distribution, and visibility on all core categories. Proactively develops sales strategies and tactics to penetrate customers across functions (culinary, operations, marketing, purchasing) to enhance our overall business relationship & executing business growth plans as set by the Sales Leadership Team. Work directly to manage the Broker dedicated Distribution sales team in OH, KY, IN, Western PA.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Required Skills: Previous experience with the specific Foodservice Distribution customers required.
Direct/mobilize internal resources (Culinary, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Management, R&D) to assist, where needed, in the execution of sales plans.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education: 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent management experience
Required Experience: 5+ years food or Beverage Sales experience. In-depth knowledge of branded consumer packaged foods industry. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & MS Office, Salesforce.com and must have excellent presentation skills. Experience selling to operators and chains. In-depth knowledge of food service channel dynamics and trends. Excellent internal and external communication skills

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dippin’ Dots Territory Sales Manager (TSM) position, reporting to the Director of Sales, is responsible for managing and supporting all existing accounts and franchisees, prospecting for new business within the defined territory in order to meet or exceed the territory sales goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sell volume and distribution to meet/exceed the territory goals:
Maximize sales to existing accounts and franchisees
Secure new accounts in assigned territory by prospecting and working with other members of the Company to secure new accounts.
Help our customers resell our product:
Manage & sell vs. the key control points of the business (flavors, point of sale, equipment location, number of locations, etc.)
Support the development and design of equipment that meets both Dippin’ Dots and the customer’s requirements
Serve as consultant for Dippin’ Dots Franchisees:
Visit Franchisees’ retail locations to assist in their business operations and ongoing business development planning
Ensure compliance with DDF “Best Practices”, including support of new programs
Provide support including training, new location start-ups, sales/marketing programs
Build & maintain strong customer relationships:
Visit each site within territory on a regular basis (coverage frequency varies based on size) to build strategic relationships and grow Dippin’ Dots sales
Conduct Business Reviews with all customers – Preferably in person but virtually if necessary.
Operate efficiently & economically:
Work effectively with other sales team members and members of other departments to support customers and achieve territory quota
Follow the established Territory Coverage Plan and keep good records of all site visits, key calls and other notable information
Administrative responsibilities include forecasting, budget management, internal communication and follow-up

Four (4) years of college preferred
Required Experience:
Two (2) years of outside sales experience preferred unless recent college graduate
Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
