About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Fund Origination Vice President to support its growing alternative investments feeder fund business. This role will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This individual will focus on new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management. This role will be responsible for leading and helping manage the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles across structures and asset classes prevalent in the market. Primarily, these will be funds created to invest into or alongside specified 3rd-party alternative asset managers “feeder” or “conduit” funds for the wealth management channel. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and proactively manage the structuring and execution of fund origination initiatives from concept through launch.
• Drive cross‑functional coordination to ensure timely, efficient, and successful fund launches.
• Partner with asset managers and wealth managers to structure and launch funds aligned with client, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Oversee and support the development of marketing materials.
• Coordinate closely with internal Legal and Compliance teams to obtain required reviews and approvals.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
• Drive product management decisions for funds currently on our menu.
• Leverage experience to help shape iCapital’s service offerings across multiple fund structures.
• Support ad hoc fund launch initiatives and strategic projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another related field
• 10+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management or custodial relationships
• Experience in alternative investments with a focus on various fund structures is required
• Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
• Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $155,000 to $180,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Analyst or Associate to focus on both feeder and direct fund origination for hedge and private equity funds. This role sits within the Operations and Investment Product Management (OIPM) department and will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This team is responsible for new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, and fund lifecycle management.  This role will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle management of various alternative investment vehicles focusing on hedge funds, private equity, and other investment structures. This includes executing processes related to adding new funds to the platform, support of some regular meetings and preparing reports, presentations, and fact cards. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fund marketing materials with appropriate information, including updates.
• Coordinate with the internal Compliance and Legal teams on review and approvals.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
• Support projects related to onboarding new funds and working across the organization to assure on-time and successful completion.
• Prepare and disseminate project progress notes.
• Input and update fund governance details regularly.
• Assist in various fund launch activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
• 0-5 years of experience with fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships (recent graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered as well)
• Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize assignments
• Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in alternative investments is a plus
