For the majority of their shift, they will process and verify all new purchase orders and make sure that inventory is efficiently organized.

A Day in the Life of an Assistant Manager

Each day as an Assistant Manager will be dynamic and unique. A typical day will begin with you opening the store and checking in with the staff to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Next, you will likely spend some time reviewing inventory levels, making sure that the store has sufficient inventory and that every shelf is fully stocked. Throughout the day you will also spend time assisting customers, answering questions, and helping address any concerns they may have. You may also need oversee training a new staff member.

• When shelf product is low, ensure resupply by gathering new product from the back-of-store warehouse while maintaining product rotation is “first-in-first-out.”

A Day in the Life of a Overnight Shelf Stocker

Each day as an Overnight Shelf Stocker will be dynamic and unique. A typical day will begin with you checking in with the store manager and receiving any specific stocking tasks that need to be done that day. Throughout the day you will be continuously moving between the backroom warehouse and various store shelves as you restock product that is running low. As you go about your day, you will remove any expiring products that you see and make sure that product detail information, such as price tags and sales signs, are current and accurate.

We’re building out our internal IT support desk and looking for a driven IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for our stores and head office. This role is a strong fit for someone with 1–3 years of IT experience who is hungry to grow. You’ll work closely with the IT Manager, build broad exposure across retail IT, and have a clear path forward as our team expands.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience using or supporting IT applications or services at the business level.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle – travel to store locations is required.

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technology field is an asset; relevant work experience is an equally strong substitute.

Front-Line Support

• Provide exceptional front-line IT support to all HAP team members and third-party vendors, both remotely and on-site.
• Triage helpdesk emails and Asana tasks, resolving issues or escalating to the IT Manager as appropriate.
• Carry the IT help phone for notices and alerts during business hours (6 AM–11 PM MST).
• Complete and close all ITSM tickets and project tasks assigned within agreed timelines.
• Contribute content to the internal knowledge base to support team self-service.
• Collaborate with vendor support to reach resolution on behalf of the team.

Device Management & Maintenance

End User Support

• Resolve Azure device compliance issues, password resets, and email changes.
• Support end users with monitor add/replace/remove and equipment movement.

• Manage TeamViewer requests and resolve connection issues.
• Answer general IT questions across the Microsoft 365 suite.

IT Operations

• Troubleshoot internet connection issues at all store locations during business hours.
• Support RMS/RMH systems and assist with POS and till-related issues.
• Process RingCentral VOIP updates, additions, and changes.
• Complete annual store IT inventories (RMS/RMH).
• Handle video surveillance requests, including theft reviews and footage downloads for police.
• Monitor Datto backup appliance and generate HQ backup reports.

Customer Service

• To serve and learn the immediate needs of customers and offering honest and sincere advice, as well as welcoming them to the culture of the Homes Alive community.

Store Appearance

• Maintain stock on the shelves, product detail communication for your specific section (ie. Price tags, sales signs, etc.), clean and face products and shelves to provide the highest quality of solo shopping experience for the customer.

• Self-initiate service to co-workers and leaders to assist with any projects or tasks to develop a culture and community of servantship and improve the quality of life of those around you.

System Maintenance

• Complete routine tasks specified in checklists & delegated by leaders and follow proper system procedures for efficiency, effective communication, and accuracy of inventory.

A Day in the Life of a Guest Service Representative

Each day as a Guest Service Representative will be dynamic and unique. A typical day will involve you helping customers find the supplies they need for their pets, providing them with information about pet care and nutrition, and assisting them at the cash register. You will also work to make sure your store looks clean and presentable and that inventory on the shelves is full and well organized. As customers often bring their pets into the store, you will also get plenty of opportunity to interact with dogs and cats (and even hand out treats!).

Schedule

Full-time Guest Service Representatives are scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hrs./week and up to 40 hrs./week. Shifts are determined at the discretion of the Store Manager.
