About the Role

We’re looking for a talented, curious, and motivated engineering manager to lead our engineering team that manages our 300+ destination integrations. This role would involve a mix of leadership and hands-on engineering.

Destination integrations are at the heart of Hightouch’s products. Every single Hightouch customer, from early adopters of our Agentic Marking Platform to customers running tens of thousands of syncs a day at scale, rely on these integrations to send their data to destinations like CRMs, advertising platforms, analytics engines, and more.

We believe in enabling our engineers to do their best work for our customers by giving them extremely high levels of ownership and autonomy. You would lead the team by example, raise the bar for technical execution, and continuously ensure the team is focusing on the highest-value deliverables.

We ship quickly - it’s not uncommon for someone to implement a new integration while simultaneously shipping a few improvements in a week. Engineers also regularly work directly with customers and integration partners to solution new use cases as they come up.

Here’s an example of some problems you’d be working on:

• Managing our 300+ integrations: We get tens of requests for new destinations and even more requests to add functionality to our existing integrations. You’ll be responsible for prioritizing these requests to balance enabling immediate deals with longer-term business strategy and engineering improvements.
• Sync speed: Customers want to sync large volumes of data to a diverse set of destinations (HTTP APIs, file transfers, data warehouses), each with its own limitations. We need to ensure that we’re maximizing our performance via a combination of parallelism, batching, rate-limit detection, and algorithmic optimizations.
• AI developer productivity and enablement: How can rapid advances in AI help us ship faster and with higher quality?

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff AI Productivity Engineer to accelerate how our engineering organization works with AI coding tools. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building infrastructure, tooling, and documentation that makes AI agents dramatically more effective across our codebase.

AI tools are evolving rapidly, and we believe the companies that invest in making agents truly productive - not just available - will have a significant advantage. You'll own this problem end-to-end: from setting up cloud development environments where agents can run autonomously, to building MCP integrations that give agents access to our internal systems, to creating the documentation and context that helps agents understand how we build software.

About the Role

This is our first dedicated security hire, and it's a rare chance to define the function from the ground up. You'll own Hightouch's application security posture end-to-end. We have strong engineering fundamentals and a solid foundation; now you'll shape what security looks like here as we scale from 70 to 140+ engineers.

This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role. You'll spend most of your time in the codebase, not in meetings. You’ll be solving hard problems at the intersection of security and distributed systems:

• Multi-tenant isolation on a system running ~1M data syncs per day and ingesting 100K+ events/sec
• Sub-tenant access control - for multi-team and multi-brand use cases, requiring differentiated access to configuration and data

About You

You’ve been an early security hire at a SaaS company before and moved the needle on how they approach security. You can read application code, threat model a distributed system, and ship production fixes. • Being an early security hire (first 1-3) at a SaaS or data infrastructure company

About the Role

We are looking for a principal engineer to join our Streaming Systems team, leading work on the high-throughput systems that collect, forward, and perform realtime computation on billions of behavioral events from our customer’s users. You'll be building the infrastructure that ingests clickstream, product interaction, and transactional data into our platform. This data is the platform for our “Cursor for Marketers” AI agent product.

Our streaming products’ revenue has 10x’d over the past year, and we need to ensure that we continue to scale. Our infrastructure needs to handle millions of messages per second at single second latency end to end. Recently, we added a computation engine that allows personalizing user experiences in real-time based on live behavior; we’re seeing 7-figure market response in the first few months and need to scale up to meet demand.

Customer Studio is Hightouch’s second major product that provides a purpose-built no-code suite of features that enables anyone, regardless of their SQL experience, to activate data directly from their warehouse. We’re looking to add a product-minded backend engineer to the team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving deep into backend and distributed systems and think holistically about architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. We also are looking for someone with strong customer and product thinking and who feels comfortable writing and engaging with product specs.

Some of the problems we’ll be working on include:

• Data Warehouse Performance: We’re consistently pushing the limits of what data warehouses can handle in terms of speed, performance, and interactivity. We explore optimizations generally (e.g. optimizing queries, storing pre-computed state), as well as investigate warehouse-specific improvements.
• Analytics and Experimentation: How can Hightouch help customers build segments and decide what data they want to sync? How can we facilitate experimentation to downstream tools, including tracking the performance of different audiences?

We are looking for a distributed systems engineer to work on the systems that power the syncing engine our customers and other engineering teams rely on. We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Marketing Data Scientist to partner closely with our AI Decisioning customers and internal engineering teams to ensure that AI-driven marketing campaigns deliver measurable, compounding impact. This role is uniquely cross-functional: you’ll spend time diagnosing model behavior, tuning ML levers, analyzing incrementality, exploring customer data, and explaining insights to marketers and executives.

Marketing teams come to Hightouch to transform how they operate. Instead of planning campaigns weeks ahead on a calendar, AI Decisioning continuously learns customer preferences and executes 1:1 messaging that adapts in real time. Your mission is to make sure that these AI agents perform at their best—and to help customers understand why they are performing the way they are.

You’ll work alongside ML engineers, product managers, Solutions Consultants, and some of the world’s most recognizable brands to improve campaign performance, debug experiments, and identify opportunities for additional lift. Roughly 30% of your time will be customer-facing and 70% deep analytical and modeling work.
