Senior Director, Accounting

Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in office at our Philadelphia HQ - 1818 Market Street.
How you will help
As the Senior Director of Accounting, your role will be a strategic thought partner to the SVP, Finance, and other business leaders, driving financial excellence across the organization. You will ensure compliance with GAAP, adhering to deadlines, and promoting the continuous improvement of the related processes and systems. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing financial policies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, performing financial risk assessments, and preparing financial reports and documents.
What you will do
- Primary ownership for company-wide accounting practices, processes and procedures
- Lead the month-end closing process and preparation of Board reporting packages
- Manage a team of accountants to ensure timely and accurate accounting entries along with cash flow management via accounts receivable/accounts payable
- Work collaboratively across the organization to track software development efforts and ensure accurate enforcement of capitalization policies
- Lead the year-end financial audit with our outside accounting firm
- Manage all tax compliance activities including the submission of federal, state and local reports – ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns
- Recommend and track benchmarks that are used to measure company performance
- Maintain a deep understanding of financial performance and communicate insights to senior management, including leading initiatives to improve management reporting. Introduce and enhance internal cost accounting reporting to enable better informed decision making across the organization
- Responsible for developing team members and providing professional guidance and coaching to ensure proper succession planning
- Responsible for remaining current with emerging accounting literature and developments. Also, responsible for researching and monitoring complex accounting issues that impact the company and developing any new accounting positions for the Company

- Develop a high-performing team by strengthening the team’s capabilities, clarifying roles, and building succession depth
- Improve the speed and efficiency of financial operations including month end close, audit completion, tax filings and control processes
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration
- 9+ years of Accounting experience, Big 4 and SAAS industry experience is a plus
- Hands on experience with NetSuite as well as other large ERP / accounting systems
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience in the review and implementation of financial controls and procedures
- Demonstrated prior success supervising staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and analytical
- Possessing a high sense of urgency, ability to interact with multiple levels within the organization and be an effective team player
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $150,000 - 187,000 + annual bonus opportunity.

Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at least once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.

VP, Project Management / PMO

This position is based in Philadelphia, PA and will require 3 days in-office per week. Preference is for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
How you will help
This enterprise-wide function is responsible for evolving our company’s capabilities; for strategically planning and leading project and program management; and to drive decision-making and execution of the company’s portfolio of critical work. This includes development and consistent improvement to the processes by which strategic programs and projects are scoped, prioritized, planned and resourced as well as leadership of execution around our most important day-to-day programs through a centralized program management function in partnership with functional-level project managers. The Vice President ensures strict adherence to company operational and quality processes to ensure on time and absolute client satisfaction. In addition, the VP interacts with our key clients to ensure company services are provided in a quality manner. This role will coordinate all reporting mechanisms to ensure a clear and coordinated single source of truth to measure performance. Functional areas of influence include Engineering, Data Warehouse, Service Delivery, Sales (client-facing) and our leadership team.
What you will do
- You will be responsible for influencing organizational thinking for how we should manage technology implementations for continuous improvements; and drive consistency throughout our organization in how we implement and deliver our technology processes, programs, and projects.
- In addition, you will be expected to build and demonstrate a strong competency and business knowledge on assigned initiatives.
- Lead and grow a team of experienced project management professionals that strive for excellence and consistency across HealthVerity. These professionals are assigned to specific clients, teams, software and data verticals or assigned as needed to strategic projects. You are to provide coaching and performance feedback continuously.
- Focus engagement teams to define and deliver business outcomes (get results through others, transparent and clear delegation, provide coaching and feedback). This is an opportunity to manage up and influence leaders with candid, professional communication and guidance.
- Lead the prioritization, identification and implementation of project management processes, methodologies, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a best in class framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery.
- Set a weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting rhythm to support on-time delivery and high quality assurance across our software, data and services.
- Establish and communicate key KPIs to demonstrate operational performance.
- Drive the implementation of the latest methodologies in PMO processes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Serve as “ the glue” between company functions ensuring adherence to agreed upon processes, standards and management reporting, and be able to communicate and collaborate where there are gaps so that we can close them
- Manage and upskill the careers of a talented team of project managers to maximize retention and personal growth.
How success is defined
- Establish a scalable and effective project management framework that enhances cross-functional collaboration and program execution.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Engineering, Data, Service Delivery, and Sales to drive alignment and efficiency.
- Implement a structured reporting system with clear KPIs to track program performance and support data-driven decision-making.

Required skills and experience
- 10+ years experience leading a Program Management function preferably in a data, technical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services or military function.
- College degree required and master's degree preferred.
- Certified PMP.
- Strong business acumen, deep understanding of, and experience in the operations of the firm's business practices
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to design and take initiatives from abstract to concrete
- Can think strategically but also execute operationally with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and informed responses to leadership
- Proven experience in complex project or program management, product ownership and Agile methodology
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $170,000 - 205,000 + annual bonus opportunity.

We are seeking a Vice President - Marketing with extensive B2B, account-based marketing and direct to Pharma experience to build and creatively communicate our real-world data value proposition to Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Government health agencies, Health systems, Insurance carriers and Analytics companies that serve those market segments. In this senior role, you will own the strategic build out and execution of our digital, PR and trade show marketing strategies as we evangelize our approach to key stakeholders across the healthcare landscape . This includes responsibility for evolving our positioning, competitive differentiation, messaging and customer engagement around our identity, privacy, governance and data exchange solutions that support HealthVerity Marketplace, the nation’s largest healthcare and consumer data ecosystem.
You will work collaboratively with our executive team and will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer.
What you will do
- Become our chief storyteller - demonstrate the ability to quickly understand our products and value add so as to meaningfully evangelize our unique selling proposition to clients and employees.
- Market Positioning and Product Strategy
- Collaborate with our Product and Sales Teams to develop a provocative product positioning and messaging strategy that will resonate with our target client personas
- Refine client personas types – who they are, how they buy, and what key criteria guides their buying decision process based on each buyer persona
- Identify customer successes and pain points
- Determine how HealthVerity can solve those pain points translating use cases and workflows into customer solutions (benefits) while highlighting our successes
- Evolve our sales and marketing processes including working tightly with our product team to:
- Share insights from prospects and customers
- Plan the launches of new products and releases for existing products
- Refine product positioning and differentiation guidance for the sales team
- Become a thought leader on customer needs, market dynamics, company capabilities, competitive landscape, and product differentiation
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop a strategic marketing plan for our key products including HealthVerity Marketplace, Taxonomy, Identity Manager and new product launches
- Develop the arc of a story to create a meaningful and long-term dialogue with customers through digital, trade show and PR efforts
- Manage to KPIs and develop a comprehensive closed-loop marketing program to measure and monitor key metrics and ROI from marketing programs including marketing qualified leads
- Optimize and recommend improvements to marketing campaigns based on results
- Build marketing models and playbooks which allow us to scale and automate manual tasks so that the team is focused on strategic problem solving
- Retain, recruit and harmonize an amazing team by hiring, nurturing, and managing great marketers
- Brand Awareness
- Provide strategic direction, prioritization, and oversight of our branding and awareness efforts as it relates to our public relations strategy, our complete digital footprint (web, social media, email campaigns etc.), and physical presence at events or conferences
- Evangelize our strategic direction for content creation (e.g. sales presentations and documentation, sell sheets, product videos, case studies, website copy, landing pages, social media, etc.) that clearly articulates the use cases and differentiation of our products

Required skills and experience
- 15+ years of experience across corporate and product marketing including at least 10 years crafting marketing efforts to Pharmaceutical Manufacturers; SaaS experience preferred
- 10+ years of experience in managing teams and developing talented personnel
- Proven experience building and integrating marketing teams with demonstrated track record for launching new products and services
- Proven experience working with direct marketing and sales executives to deliver business outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize key inputs to drive business planning and strategy
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences and customer-facing messages

- An MBA is not mandatory but would be considered a strong plus

The Level III Project Manager leads complex, cross-team software development and data delivery initiatives that are critical to business performance. You operate independently, anticipate risks, and influence stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
You apply structured project management and Agile practices to ensure predictable delivery, strong stakeholder alignment, and consistent execution discipline. You demonstrate Advanced proficiency in designated project management skill competencies that contribute to improving execution standards beyond your own projects.
As part of the PMO, you will reinforce a culture of accountability, transparency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

- Experience leading complex cross-team initiatives through the full project lifecycle applying a variety of well-known and proven frameworks and methodologies
- Strong risk management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making across teams
- Advanced proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and related tools
- Experience mentoring or coaching team members
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver predictable outcomes
