The Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Workload Management team, which is responsible for enabling next-generation AI accelerator hardware within Kubernetes clusters.
In this role, you will contribute to the validation of Kubernetes integrations that allow new accelerator to be scheduled, orchestrated, and utilised efficiently across distributed environments.
Working closely with software engineers and infrastructure teams you will help ensure that our workload management stack - including scheduling, resource allocation, and device management - operates reliably in production environments. The role combines automation engineering with a systems-level understanding of distributed platforms, helping ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and ready for real-world deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Kubernetes integration components.
- Develop end-to-end, integration, and system tests to validate scheduling and resource allocation across Kubernetes clusters.
- Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with engineering teams to investigate root causes and verify fixes.
- Contribute to design of CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate the scalability, performance, and reliability of workload orchestration.
- Improve test coverage, test stability, and observability across distributed system components.

Job Summary
You will own the delivery of all People Enablement activities for our Poland entity, from onboarding to offboarding, while ensuring we meet all statutory, policy, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties
Operational Delivery
- Lead delivery of all People Operations activities for the Poland entity – onboarding, employment changes, HRIS updates, benefits enrolments, and leavers.
- Partner with managers and engineers to enable smooth onboarding, transitions, and people processes that support team growth and engagement.
- Oversee payroll inputs and monthly cycles in partnership with Finance and Vistra.
- Maintain and update Poland employee files, HR registers, and statutory records in line with local requirements.
- Support senior management team with advice in all people related activities, such as sickness absence, wellness initiatives and company training
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with Polish labour law, statutory benefits, and record-keeping obligations.
- Support the implementation of a works council and work to establish required regulations and remuneration
- Liaise with auditors, and regulators on People-related compliance and filings.
- Maintain awareness of evolving employment legislation and update policies and processes accordingly.
Vendor and Partner Management
- Act as the day-to-day relationship lead for Vistra (payroll and HR services), Howdens (benefits broker), and other local providers.

- Manage renewals, service improvements, and issue resolution with all vendors.

Job Summary
We decide whether entire racks of machines are good enough to enter production. Our team builds and runs measurements on large-scale Linux clusters—from a single rack up to datacentre-scale systems. We use these measurements to determine system performance, reliability, and whether a system can be trusted in production.
You will work across:

We are seeking a Data Scientist / Data Analyst to transform large-scale infrastructure and hardware-level telemetry into actionable insights, predictive intelligence, and automated decision systems.
Working closely with telemetry platform engineers, you will analyze data across the full stack - from data center infrastructure down to chip-level signals (power, thermals, performance counters, reliability indicators) to detect anomalies, predict failures, and optimize system behaviour. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the Applied AI team at Graphcore, you will contribute to advancing AI technology by developing and optimising AI models tailored to our specialised hardware. You will work on large scale systems where performance is critical to the success of our projects. Working closely with the Software development and Research teams, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to innovate and differentiate Graphcore’s technology. The Team
The Applied AI team’s role is to be proxies for our customers, we need to understand the latest AI models, applications, and software to ensure that Graphcore’s technology works seamlessly with the AI ecosystem and at scale. We build reference applications, contribute to key software libraries e.g. optimising kernels for efficiency on our hardware, and collaborate with the Research team to develop and publish novel ideas in domains such as efficient compute, model scaling and distributed training and inference of AI models for multiple modalities and applications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement latest machine learning models and optimise them for performance and accuracy, scaling to 1000s of accelerators.
- Test and evaluate new internal software releases, provide feedback to software engineering teams, make necessary code fixes, and conduct code reviews.
- Benchmark models and key ML techniques to identify performance bottlenecks and improve model efficiency.
- Design and conduct experiments on novel AI methods, implement them and evaluate results.
- Collaborate with Research, Software, and Product teams to define, build, and test Graphcore’s next generation of AI hardware.
- Engage with AI community and keep in touch with the latest developments in AI.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Bachelor/Master's/PhD or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Maths, Data Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch/JAX.
- Strong Python or C++ software development skills
- Expertise in deep learning from model training to optimisation and evaluation.
- Experience in distributed training or inference of ML models across 64+ accelerators.
- Capable of designing, executing and reporting from ML experiments.
- Developed deep understanding of performance bottlenecks and how to overcome them.
- Ability to move quickly in a dynamic environment
- Enjoy cross-functional work collaborating with other teams.
- Strong communicator - able to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences.
Desirable:
- Experience in one or more of:
- MLOps for Kubernetes-based clusters
- Building production systems with large language models
- Efficient computing based on low-precision arithmetic.
- Experience writing C++/Triton/CUDA kernels for performance optimisation of ML models.
- Familiarity with HPC systems and networking including Infiniband, NVLink, RoCE technologies.
- Have contributed to open-source projects or published research papers in relevant fields.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
- Keen to present, publish and deliver talks in the AI community.

Job Summary
You will contribute to the architecture, implementation and deployment of highly scalable management and observability solutions for AI infrastructure built using our next-generation products. Covering monitoring, observability, control, and data center infrastructure management, you will work with software, cloud and customer-facing teams, to establish first-hand knowledge of these solutions, creating proof-of-concepts, reference designs and integrations with third-party tooling.
Your team will work with product, architecture and other delivery teams to ensure that functionally complete, simple to deploy, and easy to use solutions are deployed internally to support engineering efforts and supply reference designs to our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute to all phases of overall product development, from product definition, architecture, and design, through implementation, debugging, testing and early customer support.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of fault-remediation solutions at scale.
- Implement multi-component integrations based on Graphcore and third-party technology stacks, from data ingestion to decision making, ensuring seamless management, monitoring and UI.
- Create reference designs including documentation, configuration files, scripts, source code, etc.
- Deploy solution(s) internally for use by our engineering teams to aid debugging, performance analysis, benchmarking, test/QA, etc. at all scales.
- Ensure solutions are properly tested by working with the development and QA teams to enhance unit testing and ensure a comprehensive test plan is in place.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Skills and Experience
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success in architecting and implementing scalable, performant, reliable cluster management systems including telemetry collection & analysis engines.
- Good understanding of computer systems architecture (CPU, GPU, DPU, server platforms).
- Experience with programming and debugging skills for server platforms.
- Expertise of in-band and out-of-band management architectures and working knowledge of associated tools.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of working with Redfish APIs.
- Experience with large-scale telemetry datasets, time series databases, down-sampling techniques, and creating actionable dashboards.
- Strong and demonstrable skill in at least one of C/C++/Go and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- 10+ years of relevant post-degree experience.
- Familiarity with Open Compute (OCP).
- Familiarity with DMTF standards and working groups.
- Knowledge of data center networking and monitoring best practices.
- Knowledge of commercial observability solutions like Datadog, Dynatrace or Splunk.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability and management solutions in use by hyperscalers.
- Knowledge of declarative management systems.
