Join us! The GoFundMe Pro team is seeking an expert Account Executive to work with Mid-Market customers. This segment includes the country's fastest-growing nonprofits and the biggest market opportunity for GoFundMe Pro.
You will drive the sales process in a performance-based environment and partner with prospective customers to identify how nonprofits can get the most out of our fundraising platform. We want to talk to you if you are energized by startup life, closing deals, and developing your career.
The Job…
- Methodically qualify, build, and be responsible for an accurate sales pipeline using a rigorous sales process and leveraging MEDDICC sales qualification methodology.
- Responsible to source majority of your own pipeline.
- Own the sales process for medium and large new logo customers from first contact, discovery call, to conducting the demo yourself, to ultimately contract negotiation.
- Artfully deliver web-based presentations, demonstrating strong product knowledge and inside sales standard methodologies.
- Sell to VP & C-Suite executives and navigate through multiple decision makers to craft compelling events and secure all approvals.
- Consistently exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so.
- Become an expert on both the GoFundMe Pro suite of tools and the nonprofit industry, enabling you to have consultative and strategic sales related conversations with prospects.
- Participate in GoFundMe Pro's mentorship & sales advocates programs
- Hosts regional events to generate net new pipeline
- Represents GoFundMe Pro at industry events
- Helps manager host team stand-ups and meetings; bring new ideas/strategies and steer productive brainstorming conversations
- Responsible for additional lead and pipeline management strategies and efforts
- Responsible for piloting changes in process
- Forecasts quarterly accurately
You…
- 3+ years experience of progressive B2B experience on an inside sales team
- 2+ years experience selling in SaaS environment
- Experience with and an appetite for outbound pipeline generation and demand generation activities
- Experience managing a defined territory or book of accounts (all new business)
- Demonstrates ability to hit increased quota (pipeline production must align)
- Pipeline management & sales process expert (Sales Stages)
- An ambitious spirit who loves to win: Track record of consistently exceeding established goals
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A love for the startup environment
Preferred…
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Salesforce CRM knowledge
- Training on Sandler, MEDDICC, or other solutions based selling and forecasting methodologies
- Experience selling into the nonprofit sector
- Experience working with cross functional teams to push deals over the finish line (ex: channel/partnerships, solutions engineers, deal desk, product marketing)
- Experience using Salesloft, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Chorus

The annual U.S. salary range for this full-time position is $134,500 - $201,500, which may include potential sales incentive payments. In addition to this wage, there are geolocation differentials that will increase pay depending on the work location. Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our first Director, Community Fundraising to help shape and scale GoFundMe’s Community Fundraising strategy, owning business outcomes, organizational health, and long-term growth. This leader operates as a strategic partner to senior leadership, aligning teams, investments, and external partners around shared priorities and impact.
This role will report into the VP, Community Fundraising.
The Job
Strategy, Vision and Business Ownership
- Owns key aspects of the Community Fundraising strategy and business outcomes, accountable for translating company-level goals into a cohesive, executable roadmap across Pro and Consumer.
- Accountable for department-level GDV, engagement, and activation goals, including short-term performance and long-term ecosystem health.
- Determines where to invest, experiment, scale, or pull back across activation types based on ROI, brand risk, and organizational capacity.
- Partners with senior leadership to evolve Community Fundraising into a durable growth engine, not a series of disconnected programs.
- Anticipates market, nonprofit, and community trends to inform multi-year strategy and positioning.
- Partner with external agencies and third-party entities to drive measurable improvements in fundraising campaign performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
- Works with Sr. Director to align with senior cross-functional leaders across Product, Growth Marketing, Sales, CX, Partnerships, and Global Go To Market teams around shared priorities.
- Partners closely with Product and Technology leadership to influence roadmap direction, investment tradeoffs, and sequencing tied to Community Fundraising outcomes.
- Represents Community Fundraising in senior leadership forums, advocating for priorities and reconciling competing organizational needs.
- Builds strong executive-level relationships across the company to drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
- Acts as a key decision-maker and escalation point for complex, high-risk, or high-impact activations.
Team Leadership & Organizational Design
- Leads and develops a multi-disciplinary team responsible for activation strategy, execution, enablement, and operations.
- Works with Sr. Director to define clear roles, ownership models, and success metrics across Manager-level contributors.
- Coaches and develops senior talent, enabling strategic elevation and effective delegation.
- Creates a culture of high accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Establishes operational objectives, policies, and processes that ensure activations launch with quality, consistency, and speed.
- Owns planning, forecasting, and prioritization for Community Fundraising initiatives.
- Manages budget and resourcing decisions, balancing impact, efficiency, and long-term scalability.
- Ensures appropriate governance around brand risk, partner commitments, and customer experience.
- Measures and communicates impact, progress, and learnings to executive stakeholders.
Performance Measurement

You
- Bring 15+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent depth, in marketplace strategy, growth, GTM, or platform-based businesses.
- Have led complex, cross-functional initiatives with material business impact.
- Strong foundational understanding of digital and paid media strategy to set direction, assess impact, and ensure alignment with community fundraising goals.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of setting strategy and delivering results in ambiguous environments.
- Are an effective people leader with experience managing senior ICs and/or managers.
- Excel at influencing and negotiating with executive-level stakeholders.
- Balance data-driven decision-making with strong intuition for brand, community, and long-term platform health.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively with executives and teams.
- Demonstrate resilience, strong judgment, and a growth mindset.

As an Outbound Development Representative, you will play a critical role as the first point of contact for prospective GoFundMe Pro customers. You’ll embrace emerging technology to execute high-volume, strategic, and personalized outreach that resonates with nonprofit decision-makers. Your responsibilities include uncovering fundraising challenges, building tailored engagement plans, and fostering meaningful relationships across departments. You'll facilitate qualifying calls, conduct discovery sessions with key stakeholders, and showcase the value of GoFundMe Pro’s tools, all while managing a high-quality sales pipeline to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified prospects to our Account Executive team.

The Job
- Leverage multiple channels (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, calls, voicemails, and emails) to execute a high volume of outreach with strategy, creativity, and thoughtful persistence to reach key decision-makers.
- Facilitate qualifying calls and discovery sessions with high-level decision-makers, asking insightful questions to build relationships and showcase the value of GoFundMe Pro’s suite of tools.
- Execute creative engagement strategies provided by marketing, such as event outreach, mailers, and conference follow-ups, to drive account engagement.
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage a sales pipeline in Salesforce, with a focus on driving quality conversations that lead to strong deals.
- Accurately document and track all activities in Salesforce.
- Embrace emerging AI tools to enhance personalized outreach at scale and innovate as technology evolves.
- Balance a busy calendar of inbound and outbound priorities while staying focused on key initiatives that drive pipeline.
- Support multiple Account Executives by managing relationships, coordinating schedules, and contributing to diverse initiatives.
- Consistently exceed monthly quotas through hard work, proactive growth, and the implementation of feedback.
- Stay highly organized, adaptable, optimistic, and coachable while thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Become an expert in online fundraising by understanding client needs, overcoming objections, and asking thoughtful questions.
You
- 1+ years of inside tech sales or relevant experience (including nonprofit fundraising), preferably selling over the phone or web.
- Proven outbound prospecting experience.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to craft thoughtful, engaging, and relevant communication for prospects.
- No fear of the phones! Confident speaking to prospects and handling objections.
- Skilled at navigating organizations to identify and connect with decision-makers.
- Growth mindset with a commitment to improving skills and adapting to change.
- High level of emotional intelligence to build and manage relationships effectively.
- Positive attitude, team player, and driven to win.
- Technically savvy, with the ability to learn and manage new tools competently.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
