THE ROLE: 

Join the Genius team helping sportsbooks level up with live data, expert services, and fan-first experiences that drive global engagement.  

This role is all about turning real-time game data into accurate odds and market insights, helping power a fast, fair, and engaging betting experience. You’ll monitor live events, react quickly to in-game action, and support the delivery of high-quality trading services to our partners. 

A Service Provider position in our Trading team is a great fit if you:

• Study at university and want a flexible side opportunity
• Want to earn extra income without a fixed schedule
• Are curious about sports trading / sports tech and want to get your foot in the door

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Trade live US sports matches on behalf of our clients
• Monitor and manage data from multiple real-time sources

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Into US sports — basketball, baseball or American football — or curious enough to learn fast
• Sharp with logic, numbers and quick decisions
• Comfortable using English
• Happy to take on evening and weekend tasks regularly
• Betting market knowledge? Great bonus, not a must

WHAT DO EXPECT:

• Onsite only – Ülemiste City office (Tallinn)
• Flexible tasks, mostly evenings & weekends
• Summer: minimal tasks (training period)
• Season (Sept–March): more tasks available (~ 40-100 hours/month depending on performance)
• Service provider contract – no minimum or maximum hours
• Paid training: a few onsite days + independent learning (also paid)

THE ROLE

This role sits at the core of the employee experience, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding. Based on-site in our Tallinn office, you will ensure that People processes run smoothly, data is accurate, and employees receive timely support across a range of HR topics.

Working closely with the wider People team, you will help maintain efficient operations, support payroll and benefits processes, and contribute to ongoing improvements in how we support our teams. Your work directly impacts how employees experience Genius Sports day to day, ensuring consistency, reliability, and a high standard of support across the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience. Deliver onboarding sessions for new starters
• Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, managing requests through the ticketing system and resolving or escalating when needed
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and manage employment documentation with strong attention to detail
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll processes, ensuring data is accurate and submitted on time
• Support ongoing People team initiatives and projects
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and overall employee experience

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Relevant education and/or previous experience in HR
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a supportive and employee-focused approach
• Proactive, organized, and able to take initiative in day-to-day work
• Open and adaptable to change, with a willingness to learn and grow
• Comfortable with technology, including HR systems (e.g. Workday) and learning new tools
• Good knowledge of Estonian labor law
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Estonian

This is a practical internship where you’ll be involved from day one, not just observing. You’ll build real skills, work with experienced teams, and take part in activities designed to support your personal and professional development.

Open to anyone aged 18+, including students, recent school graduates, or those looking to change career direction.
