Summary
The Genetic Counseling Assistant I (GCAI) may support any number of functions including but not limited to the daily execution of genetic test order review, hold review and management, and provision of support to the patient counseling team. ​ Responsibilities include evaluating test appropriateness, resolving order issues, facilitating test setup in alignment with established protocols, and coordination of care for patients undergoing genetic counseling. ​ With a focus on operational accuracy, client communication, and system fluency, the role contributes to efficient test utilization and supports the genetic counseling services provided by the laboratory. ​ The GCAI collaborates closely with genetic counselors and supervisory staff to escalate complex cases and maintain procedural consistency across platforms and client interactions.

The Clinical Billing Integrity Lead Analyst will support the organization’s efforts in ensuring that all utilization requests and claim submissions align to payers' medical necessity rules and requirements. GeneDx is seeking a high-performing and strategically minded Regional Account Executive (RAE) to lead growth efforts in their territory. This field sales role is ideal for someone with deep experience in healthcare sales or clinical genomics, who excels at consultative selling, navigating complex provider environments, and driving business forward. As an RAE, you’ll play a critical role in advancing our mission by expanding access to GeneDx’s advanced genetic testing services. We are seeking a Principal, Volume Forecasting to own and advance GeneDx's end-to-end forecasting capability. This is a senior individual contributor role with high autonomy and broad cross-functional influence. • Own the design, build, and continuous improvement of driver-based volume forecast models integrating historical trends, pipeline data, seasonality, payer/channel mix, and market intelligence across all product lines, architected to scale with new market entries and test launches

This role combines knowledge of healthcare contracting with operational leadership. The successful candidate will assist the legal team with driving the contract lifecycle process, facilitating efficient business operations across clinical, operational, and administrative functions.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting with Contract Lifecycle

• Assist with the full lifecycle of contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing agreements across multiple business lines.
• Assist with the development of contracting standards, templates, and playbooks to drive efficiency, reduce negotiation time, and ensure consistent risk management.

Business Enablement 

• Assist Head of Commercial Contracts and Sr. Manager, Contracts, in the cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure contracts meet both legal and business requirements.
• Negotiate standard contracts/terms with external parties under the guidance of the Senior Contracts Manager.
• Assist with legal team projects on an as-needed basis, working directly with Head of Commercial Contracts and Sr. Manager, Contracts, paralegals and attorneys 

Process Optimization & Technology Enablement

• Assist with optimization contract workflows and implement best practices for tracking, storage, and reporting.
• Assist with the enhancement of the contract management tools and technology (including AI capabilities), ensuring accurate and accessible contract records.
• Analyze contract data to identify patterns, improve negotiation outcomes, and support strategic planning.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate contractual risks related to patient data, clinical services, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Privacy teams to incorporate regulatory updates into standard contract language. 

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5-7 years of progressive contracts experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, preferably with exposure to high-volume and complex agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations independently and strategically.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and commercial terms.
• Experience implementing and managing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.

Work Environment 

• Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, with occasional overtime required during peak periods.

SUMMARY:

GeneDx is seeking a high-performing and strategically minded Regional Account Executive (RAE) to lead growth efforts in their territory. This field sales role is ideal for someone with deep experience in healthcare sales or clinical genomics, who excels at consultative selling, navigating complex provider environments, and driving business forward. This role reports to the Regional Sales Director.

As an RAE, you’ll play a critical role in advancing our mission by expanding access to GeneDx’s advanced genetic testing services. You will serve as the face of GeneDx in your territory—building strong provider relationships, identifying new opportunities, and serving as a trusted resource to physicians, genetic counselors, and their staff. You will work directly with your leader, a Regional Sales Director, to fully execute the sales strategies to drive adoption of genetic testing in your territory.

TERRITORY:

Travel as needed, including some required weekends, evenings, and overnights to attend conferences, meetings, or special events, etc. Expectation for field time is 4.5 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive territory growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business while expanding relationships with existing accounts.
• Serve as the first line of account management for healthcare providers, including physicians, genetic counselors, and staff.
• Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations to communicate the value of GeneDx’s solutions and services.
• Coordinate and execute both in-person and virtual client meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and timely resolution of customer issues.
• Lead educational efforts within the territory, including developing and executing in-office appointments, regional conferences events, physician lunches and dinners, and other engagement initiatives.
• Stay current on clinical genomics developments, product offerings, and competitive landscape to position GeneDx effectively
• Maintain high field presence, with an expectation of 4.5 days per week spent in the field with clients.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, and activity metrics.
• Document customer opportunities, interactions, and updates in CRM and other business systems as needed, maintain a target clinician development pipeline.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 3+ years in healthcare sales, preferably in a physician sales/services environment or 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor.
• Possess a keen technical aptitude and ability to promote multiple service offerings and manage multiple business opportunities at any given time.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work independently and successfully manage time and territory activities. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
