Program Overview 
Galvanize invites current graduate students and recent graduates to apply for our 2026 Climate Investment Discovery Day in New York City. This program is designed to provide participants with an inside look at investing in the energy transition and the opportunity to engage directly with our investment professionals. 

Participants will gain exposure across our multi-strategy platform, learn about our approach to climate investing, and explore potential career opportunities within climate investing.

Role

Galvanize Climate Solutions is expanding our on-site technology leadership in New York, where a significant portion of the firm and our senior executives are based. As IT Administrator, you’ll be the hands-on technologist in the NY office—owning white-glove executive support, site reliability, and day-to-day administration across our hybrid-cloud Microsoft 365 centric environment. You’ll partner closely with our SF team and advance our security and compliance posture as a regulated investment adviser. This role will report to Head of IT (San Francisco) with close partnership to NY Office Leadership 

Essential Job Responsibilities 

White-Glove & Site Ownership 

• Serve as the primary on-site IT lead for NY: executive support, incident triage, and “last mile” reliability for office operational IT. 
• Deliver VIP/Executive support (Windows 11 laptops, iOS mobile, conferencing, travel/remote setups) with discretion and urgency. 
• Own conference room/Zoom Rooms reliability (A/V, room controllers, digital signage); proactively test and prevent issues ahead of high-stakes meetings. 
• Coordinate local vendors (ISP, A/V, cabling, print) and manage on-site inventory and spares. 

Identity, Collaboration & Endpoint Administration (Microsoft-First) 

• Partner in administering Microsoft 365 & Entra: user/app lifecycle, SSO, Conditional Access, MFA, security baselines, and group policy strategy. 
• Operate Microsoft Intune for Windows 11 and Jamf Pro for iOS devices: enrollment, configuration/profiles, application packaging, update rings, compliance, and reporting. 
• Partner in managing Exchange and SharePoint/OneDrive permissions/governance and collaboration guardrails. 
• Participate in asset lifecycle (procurement → imaging/autopilot → secure disposal); maintain accurate asset/CMDB records. 

Networking, Security & Resilience 

• Support LAN/Wi-Fi health (switching, APs, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, QoS for real-time media) and coordinate with providers on circuits and SD-WAN/VPN. 
• Partner with security on EDR, email security, device encryption, patching cadence, phishing/awareness, and incident response runbooks. 
• Contribute to cyber controls for a regulated financial services environment (access reviews, change control, vendor risk, BCP/DR testing, data retention). 

Service Delivery, Process & Projects 

• Lead NY service desk intake and escalations; own SLAs/KPIs and continual service improvement (ITIL-aligned). 
• Participate in NY-based IT projects, coordinating cross-office change windows. 
• Collaborate and coordinate closely with the IT team in San Francisco. 
• Support regulatory compliance and examinations under the leadership of the Head of IT and the CCO/GC, as required. 

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in an executive-facing, on-site role. 
• Deep administration of Microsoft 365 & Entra ID (identity, SSO integrations, Conditional Access, MFA). 
• Hands-on Intune expertise for Windows 11: Autopilot, configuration, app deployment, updates, compliance. 
• Strong Zoom (especially Zoom Rooms) and Microsoft Teams conferencing support. 
• Solid networking fundamentals (switching/Wi-Fi, DHCP/DNS, VPN/SD-WAN concepts) and practical troubleshooting. 
• Demonstrated security mindset (least privilege, encryption, EDR, patching, phishing defenses). 
• Exceptional communication, discretion, and customer service with senior stakeholders. 
• In-office presence in NY, 4 days/week; flexibility for early/late coverage around key meetings. 

Additional Qualifications 

• Experience in a regulated financial services environment (RIA/asset management/venture). 
• Microsoft-aligned certifications (SC-300, MD-102, AZ-104, ITIL) or equivalent. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender security stack and Purview governance/DLP. 
• Light scripting/automation (PowerShell) for scale and repeatability 

Compensation and Benefits  

• Estimated base salary, depending on experience: $160,000 - $180,000 per annum

The Strategy Associate sits within the Galvanize Platform and plays a central role in advancing the firm’s investment capabilities and strategic growth.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role working closely with investment teams and senior leadership. The Associate develops cross-asset insights, supports firm-wide strategic initiatives, and engages externally with leaders across climate, industry, and finance.

Required Qualifications

• Strong alignment with Galvanize’s mission to accelerate and scale climate solutions
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, investing, partnerships, or a high-growth operating environment
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill complex market, policy, and business information into clear insights and actionable outputs
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute against tight timelines
• Experience working across stakeholders (e.g., corporates, investors, startups), with strong relationship management and communication skills

• The estimated base salary range is $125,000 - $150,000, with placement within the range based on relevant experience

Role 

This Director of Operations is based in Galvanize’s London office, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Investment Officer. This role will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of our Global Equities Team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working hand in hand with the existing finance team, collaborating with cross-functional team members, and actively contributing to process improvements resulting in efficiencies.    

Essential Job Responsibilities 

• Manage all aspects of fund operations including investor reporting, fund analysis, regulatory submissions, NAV management, and FX hedging  
• Liaise with Global Investor Partnerships to deliver monthly fund performance reporting and handle prospective investor due diligence questionnaire (DDQs) 
• Oversee regulatory reporting including Form PF, AIFMD, and other regulatory requirements  
• Review and approve monthly NAV packages and coordinate all fund expense payments with the administrators 
• Oversee the production of monthly Fact Sheets to ensure accuracy in reporting fund performance metrics 
• Assist with FCA registration and ensure compliance with UK reporting requirements  
• Oversee any required foreign exchange (FX) hedging activities at both the fund and share class level 
• Collaborate with internal and external legal teams to review and produce required fund documents and regulatory reports 
• Manage the opening of additional custody accounts as necessary to support fund operations and compliance requirements 
• Provide strategic oversight of the UK Finance and Operations function, ensuring strong financial governance, accuracy of reporting, and effective operational execution across the firm’s UK subsidiary, including review of management accounts, expense oversight, payables, and corporation tax compliance

As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the firm. You will be responsible for accurate fund accounting, timely reporting, and assisting with compliance and audit processes. This position offers exposure to multiple asset classes and collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing a strong foundation for career growth in investment accounting. This opportunity is based in San Francisco, reporting to the Controller. 

Essential Job Responsibilities 

Investment Funds (Seed, VC/Growth, Real Estate & Credit) 

• Prepare and review quarterly NAV packages, financial statements, and partner capital statements from fund administrators for funds and GP entities. 
• Assist with monthly property-level reporting and cash movement processes, including capital injections and distributions. 
• Process fund capital calls and distributions accurately and timely. 
• Initiate cash movements for investment fundings and expense payments. 
• Maintain fund track records and performance calculations. 
• Support credit facility management, including borrowing requests, repayments, and compliance documentation. 
• Assist with year-end audits of funds and liaise with external auditors. 

Compliance and Tax (Operating Companies & Investment Funds) 

• Review annual tax workpapers and provide advisors with portfolio company information related to PFIC analysis where applicable. 
• Process tax payments and support regulatory filings. 
• Coordinate preparation of 1099s and other compliance items as needed. 

Operating Companies (TopCo and Manager Entities) 

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes for management company and related entities. 
• Assist with reporting to senior management and external stakeholders. 
• Manage coding and approval of payables and support intercompany billing. 
• Assist with preparation and review of budgets and cash flow needs. 
• Support year-end audit of consolidated financial statements. 

Additional Responsibilities 

• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls related to financial reporting. 
• Collaborate with investor relations, compliance and legal teams on ad hoc requests. 
• Coordinate with international teams for consolidation of financial records. 
• Lead the research efforts surrounding use cases of AI within the finance and operations teams.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel; experience with Sage Intacct or similar platforms is a plus. 
• Ability to work in-office 4 days per week.

Essential job responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Associate will revolve around three primary types of work:

• New and Follow-On Investments– The Galvanize Investment Associate will play a central role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new and follow-on investments across the portfolio. This includes proactive thematic research, market mapping, relationship development with founders and ecosystem partners, market analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of investment committee materials.
• Portfolio Management– The Galvanize Investment Associate will support portfolio company reporting, performance tracking, and valuation analysis. The Associate will also work with portfolio companies on select strategic and operational initiatives.
• Fund Administration– The Galvanize Investment Associate will assist with fund reporting, valuation support, data collection, and external events such as annual investor meetings.
