Company: Fulfil Solutions
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
Team: Computer Vision
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 base salary + equity + benefits
Fulfil is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to own the vision and execution of our Computer Vision team. In this role, you won't just be building models, you'll be architecting the perceptual intelligence that gives our custom robots the ability to see and act in the real world.
This is a hands-on leadership position that spans the full technical stack: from classical geometry and sensor-level hardware to modern deep learning and cloud-based data pipelines. You'll lead a team of CV engineers, set the architectural direction for real-time perception systems, and partner closely with hardware and automation software teams to deliver production-grade systems that perform reliably in complex, dynamic environments. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be on site often, working directly on our engineering system and collaborating with hardware engineers.
Technical Strategy & Architecture: Own the end-to-end CV stack. Define a multi-quarter roadmap and architect perception systems that scale from prototype to high-volume production deployment. Drive Agile and Scrum ceremonies to keep the team aligned, unblocked, and delivering with predictability.
Full-Stack Perception Engineering: Drive system design across all layers, from physical sensor protocols (CAN, I2C) and kernel-level drivers through RPC interfaces and cloud-based training data loops. Hands-on C++ expertise is essential. You'll be close enough to the code to set the bar and earn the team's trust.
Algorithm Development: Lead development of algorithms for object detection, 3D reconstruction, pose estimation, and error recovery. Ensure robustness and reliability in non-deterministic physical environments where failure has real consequences.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Own the full people management lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance development, and career growth for engineers across US and international offices. Set architectural standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and build a culture of ownership, technical rigor, and continuous learning.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate directly with Mechanical and Automation Software teams to specify camera optics, lighting conditions, and compute platform requirements (NVIDIA Jetson, Intel edge hardware). Translate R&D progress into concrete milestones for leadership, managing project timelines and dependencies with the same rigor you bring to engineering.

Preferred
Real-world impact from day one. You'll join as an early technical leader with direct influence over the core intelligence of our robotics platform, not a peripheral feature team.
A genuinely cross-disciplinary environment. Our teams span hardware, software, operations, and supply chain. You'll work across all of them.
Compensation that reflects the role. $180,000 – $220,000 base salary, significant equity, and premium medical, dental, and vision coverage.
A culture that respects your time. We take PTO seriously and offer unlimited PTO. Work-life balance isn't a talking point here, it's something we actively protect.

Company: Fulfil Solutions
Location: Mountain View, CA (On-site)
Team: Firmware / Embedded Systems
Compensation: $140,000 base salary + equity + benefits
Fulfil is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our Embedded Systems team. You'll work on the low-level software that drives our custom robotics hardware — implementing protocols, building control logic, and helping bring new hardware to life in a fast-moving production environment.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teammates in hardware, software, and systems integration to implement firmware that is reliable, testable, and built to last.
Firmware Development Implement robust firmware in C/C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers and Linux-based SBCs. Develop and maintain protocol implementations across CAN bus, I2C, UART, SPI, and Modbus.
Hardware Integration Participate in bring-up and validation of custom hardware. Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters to debug at the hardware/firmware boundary.
Motion & Control Implement motor control sequences including encoder-based positioning, tuning, and jerk limiting under the guidance of senior engineers.
Interface Development Work with gRPC and Protocol Buffer interfaces to expose hardware services to higher-level systems cleanly and safely.
Testing & Quality Write unit tests and contribute to HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test environments. Debug issues across firmware logic, sensor integration, and timing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with hardware, software, and systems teams to understand interface contracts and align on firmware behavior.
