As the WEM Partner Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive resale bookings and revenue through key WEM partnerships. You will be responsible for the overall success of the partnership, including partner management, reseller contracts, program activities, partner enablement, joint GTM initiatives, and driving revenue growth. This role reports to the Senior Director, Business Development and will require collaboration with Sales, SalesOps, Solution Consulting, Marketing, PS, Product Management, Finance and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Align with Five9 Sales and key partner staff on joint customer opportunities, GTM strategy, growth opportunities, and sales pursuits
Support special bid pricing and negotiations with partners as required.
Enable Five9 sales and partner sales teams with cross-training of joint solutions
Support execution of Five9 reseller contracts and amendments, SKU creation, financial tracking and other SalesOps efforts
Engage with internal/external product and partner marketing staff to produce compelling assets and customer materials
Partner with sales and partner marketing staff on joint event and GTM activities
Track pipeline for assigned WEM partners and monitor overall activities toward achieving quarterly and annual bookings targets
Engage with SalesOps and Finance to track and manage partner performance, overage/usage issues, SOW requirements, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years of Contact Center (CCaaS) and/or AI experience; Understanding of these markets and key adjacent technologies
Significant Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development experience and proficiency in engaging with partners
Understanding and history with SaaS and/or reseller contracts; strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex challenges (internal and external)
Ability to travel 30% of the time for various events, conferences, meetings, etc.
Excellent presentation and communication skills – virtual and in-person
Ability to interface well with sales, product, marketing, and leadership staff
Proficiency with standard business management tools (SFDC, Excel, PowerPoint, and other systems)

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Own and drive the relationships with our WEM partners, including strategic direction, alignment with internal stakeholders, key input to pricing, contracts and amendments. Accelerate and increase conversion of partner-influenced opportunities—especially WEM and Select ISVs—by orchestrating late-stage execution without taking primary deal ownership from Sales.

Reporting & Scope: Reports to VP, Strategic Partner Alliances. Global remit with initial North America focus. Supports Power of 3 tri-plays as needed.

To accommodate our rapid growth, Five9 is seeking an experienced and motivated Channel Sales Manager to help expand our industry leading partner ecosystem. This is a key position within our Sales organization and will report directly to our Sr. Director, Channel Sales. This mission driven team is responsible for opening new routes to market and helping partners build & sell customer experience offers at speed and scale. Located ideally in NY/NJ/PA/DMV

Some of the major focus areas of this role are:

Manage the sale of Five9 products and services through named national (potentially global) partners
Drive a business plan that allows us to scale our services and develop a robust partner ecosystem for services across several disciplines
Develop an enablement strategy to attract, develop and maintain relationships with various distributors, resellers, or agents
Build preference for Five9’s customer experience / contact center software and services within partners’ portfolios and sales teams
Drive global sales results and pipeline development within key national (global) partners
Drive partner enablement throughout the entire customer journey lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and expand critical relationships within named partners that deliver a profitable business model for and enhance Five9’s solutions and services capabilities
Help expand the partner community within the Americas to accelerate growth, by recruiting and gaining commitment of national partners
Develop, retain and own Five9’s strategic relationships within partners that can scale our solution and increase value to customers
Establish engagement models for ISV’s and development partners – in conjunction with strategic partner offerings
Develop, deliver and execute viable plan(s) which will represent Five9’s interest in promoting partner corporations branding, as well as ensure Five9 is represented as the first and best option for contact center solutions
Align closely with Five9 Sales to represent the interests of the assigned partners within Five9 to elevate our partner visibility internally and externally
Develop Partner Training and Enablement program and certification
Align closely with Sales and Channel to close customer opportunities, manage forecasts and pipelines
Structure and negotiate partnership agreements that lead to incremental value and capabilities
Develop detailed operational plans with partners to include engagement models, sales targets, and GTM strategies
40% travel required for this position

Key Skills:

Proven experience working in a dynamic team focused on building exponential growth
4+ years of experience in software sales, partner development, or business development within a cloud-based environment
Emphasis on software sales
A demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and grow business relationships successfully, with an emphasis on sales and partner processes
Strong operational and analytical skills
Ability to describe trends and provide insight from KPI’s
Strong strategic thinking with a penchant for action and results
Excellent project management and creative problem solving skills
Exceptional communications skills, with a proven capability for public speaking, professional writing and active listening
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience

Desired Skills:

Experience with and knowledge of Contact Center solutions and/or VoIP
Experience with National Partners and/or Service Providers in cloud collaboration – CcaaS, UCaaS preferred
Experience managing partnerships with consulting firms or systems integrators for an enterprise SaaS software solution
