Impact
The ideal FirstSteps Regional Administrative Coordinator (RAC) can be described as an amazing people-person who is always welcoming and knowledgeable and capable of connecting our team members, our clients, and our visitors to the resources, people, and information they need. This individual understands systems and the importance of creating, communicating, and managing simple processes essential to operational success. In essence, our RAC ensures that our Center is a warm, kid-friendly, organized, chaos-free place of learning and connection - a place everyone loves to visit.
Overview of Regional Scheduling Coordinator Position:
As our Regional Administrative Coordinator you will significantly contribute to the organization and management of our Redondo Beach Center where our little ones meet with their clinical team to learn and socialize. As such, as our RAC you are critical to ensuring the Center runs seamlessly and that both our kids and your fellow FirstSteps team members have what they need to be successful. In this role, you will have the opportunity to regularly interact with and learn from our young clients, their caregivers, and both our clinical and administrative staff as the "connector" for all parties.

Regional Training Manager (RTM)

The Regional Training Manager (RTM) plays a critical role in advancing this mission. As the first point of contact for new clinical team members, the RTM leads training, supports onboarding, and ensures clinicians are set up for success from day one. This role is ideal for a strong clinician and mentor who is passionate about developing others and maintaining clinical excellence.

RTMs are instrumental in shaping the quality, consistency, and experience of our clinical team. Through training, mentorship, and leadership, they ensure FirstSteps continues to deliver exceptional care to the children and families we serve.
Additional Information:
The ratio of direct session hours to supervision and training hours will vary based on regional training and clinical need. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview process and confirmed in offer documentation.
Starting Pay Rate is $28/hour, with annual performance-based evaluations that allow the opportunity for raises.

Overview of our Program Manager / Mid-Level Supervisor Position:
A FirstSteps Program Manager has the experience and clinical skills to immediately assist in case management under the direct supervision of FirstSteps BCBAs. As a new Program Manager, you will provide some direct work with children served by FirstSteps to ensure you are familiar with our model of compassionate ABA. Once fluent, you will enter our comprehensive Program Manager training program and learn from the best and brightest in our field. Following this training, the Program Manager will exclusively assist our BCBAs with case management, provide center based supervision, lead and manage social skills groups, collaborate with and support our caregivers, regularly analyze client data, and support our team of RBT Instructors in their clinical and professional growth.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and dedicated to helping our team in providing exceptional services to children diagnosed with autism who are receiving ABA intervention at our beautiful learning center. This un-paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with both the direct therapy and administrative aspects of clinical practice and positively contributing to the success of our summer service offerings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, eager to learn, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist Clinical Teams: Support clinical teams in preparing, organizing, and implementing our annual FirstSteps for Friends, Summer Social Skills Intensive program.
Client Interaction: Interact with our amazing children and their families in a supportive and engaging manner, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable in our clinic environment.
Data Collection: Learn and assist with taking data during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of progress.
Administrative Duties: Help with administrative tasks such as notifying our families and team members of scheduling changes, organizing medical records, updating client files, and maintaining clinic organization.
Check-in and Check-out: Assist in the smooth check-in and check-out process for kids and families attending therapy sessions, providing assistance and support as needed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical teams and administrative staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and a positive experience for all clients.
Learning and Development: Take advantage of countless learning opportunities throughout the internship period and and gain valuable skills and knowledge about developmental learning challenges, treatment assessment and intervention, practice management, health care, and administrative functions.
