The role

Reporting directly to our Editorial Executive of the region, your tasks will include:

• Managing a growing team of enthusiastic writers, video producers, and social media creatives
• 1-on-1 management, ensuring workflows are clear, and providing individual feedback
• Develop and maintain high editorial standards, adhering to the brand’s identity and tone of voice
• Maximize exposure for each city presence in the Central US and Canada markets through media strategies and event coverage. This will include working with our social media, editorial, video, PR, creative, legal, and marketing teams on select occasions.
• Lead and guide the team to grow, inspire, and reach new audiences
• Liaise with regional Managing Editors and the Executive Editor of North America to share weekly feedback, best practices, and set strategies for cities you manage.
• Collate and interpret data for cities in your region based on SMN’s internal KPIs, and use these findings to inform future strategy.
• Identify editorial partnership opportunities to bring SMN content to an ever-wider, diverse audience.
• Representing Secret Media Network at key press events and media gatherings.
• Work with our legal team to coordinate contracts, and Terms & Conditions as needed.
• Leading the hiring process for new writers, video producers, and social media creatives in the Central US and Canada region.

Who You Are

• 3+ years experience working for a newsroom, content agency, creative agency, or digital media property.
• You have a proficient level of English. A second language is a plus for us, but not necessary.
• You have a deep passion for journalism, social media, and digital marketing.
• You can demonstrate your ability to adapt to the ever-changing and fast-moving world of a digital startup business.
• You have a strong attention to detail, are a critical-thinker and a problem-solver.
• You’re a leader who’s comfortable managing a team, and supporting them to help achieve their goals.
• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of the current social media landscape.
• An avid consumer of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter…or whatever’s next!
• You have a strong understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular online. You regularly stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and emerging patterns in media.
• You’re comfortable identifying and tracking relevant community KPIs, and drawing conclusions from data.
• Familiarity with Wordpress & Canva are a plus.

The Role
You will serve as the Editor for Secret NYC, reporting directly to the Managing Editor for the region. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Finding brilliant stories and generating lots of content ideas (not just articles!) for the NYC market
• Writing engaging, accurate and informative articles, at pace, about those topics
• Monitor all site content, including daily news, features, and local reporting
• Have a strong grasp of the city culture and things to do in NYC
• Manage an editorial calendar with colleagues that incorporates news, reviews, and local city content including planning for longer lead functions, trending stories, and campaigns.
• Occasional appearances across Reels, TikTok, consumer-facing videos and other brand mediums.
• Oversee the creation and strategy of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Secret NYC newsletters, keeping in line with SMN standards.
• Make sure all site copy and headlines are proofread, meeting our editorial standards and style guide.
• Make sure all posts are SEO friendly
• Conduct keyword research to track performance as well as identify new content opportunities
• Manage a small but growing team of enthusiastic local writers, video producers, and social media creatives
• Liaise with the Secret NYC team and regional Managing Editor to share weekly feedback, best practices, and share strategic input from NY
• Analyze said metrics and content performance, gleaning insights and applying learnings to better inform future content
• Work with other colleagues, teams and departments to create strategic content opportunities
• Track openings and develop sources including PR reps, restaurateurs, local venues and event spaces, and alternate sources for coverage as needed
• Assist in promotional efforts and collaborations in NYC when necessary

• You have 3+ years experience working for a newsroom, content agency, creative agency, or digital media property.
• You have a proficient level of English. A second language is a plus for us, but not necessary.

• Willingness to learn video content creation for social media is key
• Expertise with Wordpress & Canva or similar edition softwares.

The Role

Reporting directly to our VP of Media, the Head of Sponsored Content leads SMN’s business generation area, driving the global partnerships ecosystem through strategic, creative, and data-driven approaches that unlock new growth opportunities. This role connects creative strategy, content distribution, and commercial performance, ensuring every activation delivers measurable business outcomes through smart storytelling and precise timing across the funnel. 

The Head will ensure all stories, partnerships, and activations align with strategic goals, uphold creative excellence, and drive revenue through new monetizable formats. They will rethink how we produce, distribute, and sell branded content to unlock new revenue streams and operational efficiencies across all markets.

Ultimately, the Head of Sponsored Content ensures that every piece of coverage, campaign, and content activation directly contributes to increasing event conversion and revenue, while maintaining the brand’s voice, consistency, and global coherence.

What You´ll Do

Revenue Growth:
-Lead the creation and execution of strategies that increase direct and indirect revenue from branded content, events, and sponsorships.
-Identify and implement new monetization opportunities, from paid partnerships and brand integrations to owned formats and data-driven upsells.
-Work with sales, product, and content teams to create packages that maximize yield per asset or campaign.

Business Transformation
-Redesign workflows, team roles, and processes to align creative output with revenue objectives.
-Introduce best practices for content conversion.
-Coach and upskill regional teams to think and act with a “content-as-a-business” mindset.

Performance & Accountability
-Oversee performance dashboards but focus on decision-making and execution, not just data collection.
-Continuously test and optimize content performance across the funnel.

Strategic Partnerships & Innovation
-Develop partnerships that increase monetization potential (platforms, brands, media partners).
-Experiment with new content formats, digital products, and audience revenue models.
-Identify scalable pilots and turn them into scalable growth playbooks.

Global Consistency
-Maintain unified storytelling and brand standards across all markets and relevance tiers.

Who You Are

You are the ideal candidate if you bring the following key qualifications:

• English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in branded content, creative strategy, digital media, or related fields, with 3+ years in team leadership.
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with a proven ability to build, package, and sell content solutions that drive revenue.
• Expertise in digital platforms and social media ecosystems, and a deep understanding of how content performs across the funnel.
• Hands-on experience with partnerships, including brands, agencies, and media/platform partners.
• Data-driven approach, with the ability to turn insights into decisions, optimizations, and new monetization opportunities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to rethink workflows and processes, aligning creative output with commercial objectives.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Executive to lead the creation of compelling content for our media outlets for our expansion into new markets. Reporting directly to our VP of Media, you will play a pivotal role in managing a growing team of passionate editors, writers, video producers, and social media creatives. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Scope of responsibility for India, the United Arab Emirates, and upcoming expansion markets across Europe and Asia.
• 1-on-1 management, ensuring clear workflows, and providing individual feedback.
• Crafting, communicating, and executing a creative vision for the entire Secret Media Network. 
• Collaborating with Editors, Staff Writers, and the video and social team to establish and maintain high editorial standards, adhering to the brand’s identity and tone of voice.
• Leading and guiding the team to foster growth, inspire creativity, and reach new audiences.
• Working with experienced editors to elevate our content in established cities, with an eye toward expandable formats.
• Analyzing data for cities in your region based on SMN’s internal KPIs, and leveraging findings to inform future strategy.
• Identifying editorial partnership opportunities to broaden SMN content to a diverse audience.
• Taking a hands-on approach to initiate key content-creation initiatives.
• You will also be responsible for coordinating, assigning, and prioritizing editorial work within the team, collaborating with other Fever departments, and developing and analyzing audience-growth strategies. Your role will involve celebrating 'wins' and sharing best practices network-wide.
• Having a deep understanding of how the business operates and translating that knowledge into content strategies that support revenue, audience growth, and overall company objectives.
• Building and optimizing a successful content-driven conversion funnel, ensuring that storytelling, formats, distribution, and audience insights work together to drive measurable conversions.

Who You Are

You are the ideal candidate if you possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in English. Any other extra language is a plus. 
• +5 years of experience working for a newsroom, content agency, creative agency, or digital media property.
• Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 2 years of team management experience.
• Deep passion for journalism, especially at the local level, social media, and digital marketing.
• Expertise in media mapping and the ability to collaborate with external partners (advertising agencies, media agencies, TV/Animation companies).
• Digital fluency and hands-on knowledge of the current social media landscape, including platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, etc.
• Ability to inspire creative teams and customers, strong presentation skills.
• Data-driven and business-savvy with superb writing skills and creative flair.
• Solid understanding of optimization technologies and AI-driven processes, workflow automation, and performance outcomes.
• Ability to convert content creators' economy into growth opportunities. 
• Team player attitude.
