Position Overview: 

As a Sr. Account Executive, you will be a key contributor in helping FastSpring achieve our financial goals. This role is focused on new business development and driving the sales process with clients. In this role you will execute our sales plan; identifying, qualifying, and presenting FastSpring's solutions to prospective clients. This is an influential role in delivering a great client experience through the process. This position is remote-first within Singapore, with frequent business travel across APAC for tradeshows and team events.

Responsibilities & Goals:

• Heavy focus on new business and prospecting efforts with targeted customers/prospects in partnership with the SDR team.
• Prospect, identify, develop, negotiate and, ultimately, close new customers to reach stated sales goals.
• Sales responsibility with a "hands-on" approach working strategic deals and technical/complex sales cycles.
• Monitor metrics with the goal to increase productivity and contributions to pipeline and bookings.
• Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with other internal resources (ie. Sales Engineers, Director)
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement marketing initiatives.

Experience:

• Confident communicator; strong written and verbal skills are critical.
• Self-starter, capable of staying focused in a fast-paced sales environment; can manage time effectively and work independently.
• Ability to sell, influence, and negotiate with prospects to move through the sales process.
• Ability to effectively multi-thread within an account to sell wide and high to key stakeholders.
• Experience working in a start-up environment or ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment.
• Additional preferred experience:
• Knowledge of the payments and/or gaming industry
• Experience selling into the Greater China Region

Qualifications: 

• Business proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken.
• Sales experience within high-growth software environments selling a technical product or selling into a technical buyer.
• 4+ years quota carrying sales experience, in payments/payment solutions or ecommerce software.
• Demonstrated consistent performance in a prior new business role with top performer results. 
• Sales tech stack experience: Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, 6sense, Loom/Soapbox.
• GSuite products and online business tools.
• Bachelor's degree, marketing or business preferred.

Compensation
This role offers a base salary of SGD 110,000 – SGD 150,000, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately SGD 200,000 – SGD 273,000, structured around a 55/45 base-to-variable mix. Compensation will vary based on experience and market benchmarks.

This position is remote, with some travel expected for tradeshows, in-person team onsites and events.

Typical Daily Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute targeted outbound strategies to generate awareness and pipeline for FastSpring across SaaS, software, gaming, and digital product markets.
• Identify and prioritize high-value accounts; build account engagement strategies to penetrate complex organizations.
• Lead disciplined, multi-channel prospecting (calls, personalized email, video, social) and continuously refine messaging to improve conversion.
• Partner strategically with Account Executives to map stakeholders, coordinate outreach, and deliver high-quality meetings aligned with ICP and revenue priorities.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene in Salesforce, capturing engagement insights and tracking account progression.
• Navigate early conversations with senior stakeholders, uncover business challenges, and position FastSpring’s value effectively.
• Contribute to outbound playbooks by testing new approaches, sharing best practices, and elevating team prospecting standards.
• Represent FastSpring at industry events to expand market awareness and generate strategic pipeline opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of quota-carrying lead generation experience in a B2B SaaS environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders through clear written and verbal messaging.
• Business proficiency in spoken Mandarin and English required; ability to conduct professional conversations and outreach across both languages (written Mandarin a plus).
• Highly autonomous operator with a proven ability to prioritize accounts, manage pipeline activity, and execute outbound strategy independently.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-paced sales environments, maintaining focus and consistency while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess prospect needs, navigate objections, and advance conversations toward qualified opportunities.
• Demonstrated interest and familiarity with payments, gaming, eCommerce, or digital product ecosystems, with the ability to quickly understand complex platforms and value propositions.
• Growth mindset with a track record of refining prospecting techniques and improving outreach performance in evolving markets.

Compensation:

This role carries an annual on-target earnings (OTE) of SGD 114,000, comprised of a base salary of SGD 77,000, and a sales variable component of SGD 37,000 (70/30 split).
