Exodus is looking for a technically strong accounting leader to own our SOX program and lead technical accounting policy across the company. This role sits at the intersection of controls, audit, and systems — ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable partnering cross-functionally, and ready to build something durable at a fast-moving public company.

What You'll Do

• Own the SOX control environment end-to-end — RCMs, narratives, flowcharts, control design, and risk alignment across key business processes
• Manage quarterly SOX refresh cycles, tracking control execution and ensuring all evidence is complete and audit-ready
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, coordinating walkthroughs, testing requests, and issue resolution
• Lead technical accounting research and policy development, including memos on revenue recognition, digital assets, equity, derivatives, and M&A
• Own the company's accounting policy framework — drafting new policies, updating existing ones, and implementing new GAAP standards on time
• Partner with accounting, IT, and cross-functional teams on system implementations and process changes to ensure controls are embedded and scalable
• Proactively identify accounting and control risks, communicate impacts to leadership, and drive resolution ahead of quarter-end and audit milestones

Who You Are

• CPA with a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field and public accounting experience
• 5+ years in accounting, with leadership experience in a public company environment
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
• Experienced coordinating SOX testing, audits, and remediation activities
• Strong communicator who can document and defend technical accounting positions with auditors
• Comfortable working in Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones (hard requirement)
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP (SAP, Oracle) is a plus

• Experience in crypto, fintech, SaaS, or digital assets
• M&A background

Financial Analyst, Digital Assets

At Exodus, finance is how we understand the business — not just report on it.

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to help build the financial layer behind our next phase of growth. You’ll work across product, data, and leadership to bring clarity to how the business operates, where it’s going, and how we get there.

This is a high-impact role focused on decision-making, not maintenance.

What You’ll Do

• Own forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across core product lines

• Build and evolve financial models that support product strategy, pricing, and investment decisions

• Translate data into clear insights that influence leadership decisions

• Partner with Product and Engineering to understand drivers of growth, usage, and revenue

• Define and track key metrics that reflect how the business is actually performing

• Improve financial systems, reporting, and workflows as we scale

Who You Are

• 2–5+ years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or similar roles in high-growth environments

• Strong modeling skills with a clear understanding of how businesses actually work

• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and working asynchronously

• Able to connect numbers to product, behavior, and outcomes

• Clear communicator — written and verbal

• High ownership, low ego

Nice to Have

• Experience in crypto, fintech, or product-led companies

• Familiarity with tools like Pigment, Google Suite, or similar

• Exposure to M&A, investments, or capital allocation decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)

Exodus is a publicly traded digital asset company operating at global scale. As the business grows in scope, complexity, and ambition, we are building a finance organization designed for high judgment, high ownership, and high impact.

We are hiring a VP of FP&A to operate as a strategic extension of the CFO — someone who brings clarity to complexity, elevates how decisions are made, and raises the bar for financial thinking across the company.

This is not a role for process managers or consensus builders. It is a role for a senior finance leader who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and influence outcomes at the executive and Board level.

What You’ll Do

Be the CFO’s Force Multiplier

• Act as a trusted deputy to the CFO on planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis
• Independently lead financial workstreams that inform executive and Board decisions
• Pressure-test assumptions, surface tradeoffs, and provide clear recommendations

Own Financial Planning & Scenarios

• Own the company’s rolling forecast, re-forecast, and long-range planning
• Build scenario-based models that leadership uses to understand risk, opportunity, and tradeoffs
• Ensure forecasts are decision-oriented — not academic or backward-looking

Drive Business Insight, Not Just Reporting

• Partner deeply with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Operations to evaluate performance and scalability
• Develop clear frameworks for ROI, unit economics, and capital efficiency
• Support pricing, growth investments, and strategic initiatives with rigorous analysis

Set the FP&A Operating Standard

• Establish a lean, high-signal FP&A cadence that leadership trusts
• Build executive-ready dashboards and narratives that connect financial outcomes to business reality
• Continuously raise the bar on analytical rigor, clarity, and speed

Build Talent Density in Finance

• Help shape a small, high-performing FP&A team over time
• Coach and challenge strong performers; address gaps quickly
• Optimize for impact per person, not headcount growth

What “Great” Looks Like

• The CFO trusts you to run FP&A without close supervision
• Executives rely on your analysis to make real tradeoffs, not validate decisions already made
• Forecasts and scenarios are referenced in leadership and Board discussions
• Financial insight consistently changes how the company prioritizes and invests

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Corporate Finance
• Experience in high-growth, high-expectation environments (public companies, late-stage private, fintech, SaaS, marketplaces)
• Exposure to crypto or digital assets is a plus, not a prerequisite
• Experience supporting senior executives and Board-level planning

Our Benefits

Health: Most of our health insurance plans are covered 100% for you and covered 50% for your dependents. We’ll also cover dental insurance. If you are outside of the United States, we will reimburse you up to $500 per month for any medical and dental insurance for you and your dependents.

PTO: 30 days of paid time off per year on top of a flexible schedule where you can work wherever and whenever. If you’re part-time with us, you’ll still receive 15 days of paid time off.

Unlimited Bereavement: We will pay you your full salary for the first two weeks for the loss of any immediate family members, but we allow you to take all the time you need to grieve outside of that.

Parental Leave: 13 weeks of fully paid leave with and a month of flexible work for the primary caregiver. 4 weeks of paid leave if you are the child's secondary caregiver.
