ASSOCIATE | SEARCH & STRATEGY
We are a boutique consulting firm specializing in services to the not-for-profit sector. We are based in Pasadena and have clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Our associates move seamlessly between our search and strategy projects, one day performing research for a transformational plan and the next screening candidates for an organization's first Executive Director. In between, they are intent on doing things other people might call “admin work,” but we realize as the connective communication, process-building, and documentation that is necessary to execute and deliver results. In this position, you will report to the Director of Search Services directly on ongoing searches and our Directors of Strategy on merger and strategy projects. Eventually, you will interact with candidates and clients alike. Our unique business requires someone with drive, ownership, and an evident dedication to getting the job done. We seek a talented individual who craves learning new skills and is unafraid to tackle big projects.
The Job Experience:
Consulting isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. While some dream of coffeehouse collaborations or holding meetings at the beach, Envision Consulting is a company on the cusp of major growth and thought leadership. We’re running a high-energy enterprise focused on business development and process design for non-profits in critical leadership transitions. We build leaders in the nonprofit industry, which means we need to be leaders ourselves – we’re nimble, we’re industrious, and we are always building and innovating. We take our clients and our work in the community seriously and are committed to positively impacting the sector. We are looking for people who look at a position at Envision as a springboard to transformative impact. Our team is organized, dedicated, and detailed and our excellence in delivery has earned us an outstanding reputation for client service and impact. Whether you've considered running your own consulting firm, or you're simply driven by the desire to lead and make an impact, we want to hear from you.
You're a self-starter with a background with working in multi-faceted, high- demand industries. You're not a delegator; you're a meticulous planner, an adept documenter, and a presenter of outstanding reports and presentations. Most importantly, you're a team player, ready to play an active role in shaping our brand and culture. Plus, you like face-to-face interaction! At Envision, we are primarily in-person, in-Pasadena for optimum collaboration.
