Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in the advancement and maturation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function at Emigrant.  The Senior Manager will assist the CRO in establishing various programs in support of an expanded risk management function. Initially, the individual will be heavily involved in risk management programs designed to identify and report risks associated with third party relationships. Over time, the role is expected to expand to all or most areas of the ERM program.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in developing policies and programs
• Assist in designing key risk indicator (KRI) framework along with the calibration of thresholds across all risk dimensions
• Perform fundamental/basic project management tasks in support of complex, multidisciplinary projects
• Participate in the oversight of model governance including the validation of model assumptions and results
• Assist in formation of risk appetite statements and monitoring of compliance
• Identify and analyze industry and regulatory developments, threats, changes in technology and market risk issue
• Provide an objective analysis to ensure business risks are properly considered, including macro corporate strategy and the risk-based evaluation of business lines, products and processes
• Maintain excellent relationships with Business Heads to understand risks pertinent to the unit and its control environment

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years relevant experience with banks or other financial institutions, with particular preference for experience with third party relationship programs and associated regulatory guidance
• Thorough knowledge of the laws and regulations from regulatory agencies, and solid understanding of internal controls
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline required. Advanced degree preferred. Professional certifications in Risk Management, Audit, Project Management or Investment Management highly appreciated

Job Summary

The Risk Manager will play a key role in supporting the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework across multiple risk dimensions, with particular emphasis on risk governance, operational risk management and cyber risk. The successful candidate is a highly detail-oriented and intellectually curious individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Such skills would allow the individual to work across various risk dimensions. This role partners across business lines and control functions to ensure risks are identified, measured, monitored, and reported in alignment with regulatory expectations and the Bank’s risk appetite. The position plays a key role in strengthening risk culture, governance discipline, and control effectiveness within a small bank environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the execution and continuous improvement of the Bank’s ERM framework consistent with regulatory guidance.
• Collaborate and provide subject matter expertise in risk identification and assessment processes, particularly with respect to assessments of Fintech partners, new products, vendors or strategic initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of risk policies and standards across business units and control functions.
• Provide independent second-line oversight of cyber and information security risk internally and with our fintech partners, in coordination with the Information Security function.
• Promote a strong risk culture through training, communication, and challenge.
• Partner with business units to embed risk management practices into day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate in the preparation of enterprise-wide risk reports for executive management and the Board Risk Committee, including risk dashboards, emerging risks or thematic analyses.

Job Summary

 Personal Risk Management Solutions is looking for a Private Client Relationship Manager for Property & Casualty insurance operations. Personal Risk Management Solutions is a boutique insurance agency which focuses solely on personal insurance.

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• Determine strategic placement of new accounts through analysis of current coverage and knowledge of products available. Run flood determinations, clue reports, and motor vehicle reports to help determine levels of exposure and strategize with sales executives and service team as to where to market accounts
• Act as advisor to clients and make recommendations and suggestions best suited for their needs. Respond to any direct communications and lead renewal process
• Create proposals by reviewing client information, policies and underwriting file and formulate a comprehensive insurance program once carrier negotiations are complete. 
• Negotiate with underwriters by utilizing comprehensive, creative thinking to implement best possible solutions for our clients
• Report claims to carrier and follow up until conclusion. Maintain contact with clients during the process. Ensure that clients are extremely satisfied with the outcome
• Analyze home appraisals and compare to current policy coverages to determine accuracy and/or inefficiencies. Communicate result of the appraisal with the client
• Drive renewal process by analysis of client’s insurance program (coverages, claims, file notes and annual activity) and marketplace opportunities. Communicate with team members on renewal strategy and ensure implementation
• Analyze daily suspense reports. Determine appropriate response per item. Advise additional team members if necessary
• Process endorsement requests by determining best consecutive order for multiple changes and accurate relay of information from the client to the carrier
• Involvement in planning of workflows, procedures, and processes. Provide ideas and feedback to superiors to allow for more efficiency in daily servicing of clients
• Draft templates for client form letters by developing various product line subject matter and applying to specific client situations .
• Run daily activity reports from carrier websites and coordinate with the service team items to be addressed. Items must be prioritized accordingly and addressed by the appropriate team member. Discuss with insurance company partner when appropriate  
• Assist in maintaining licensing schedule and carrier licensing records
• Assist with any marketing material, sales campaigns, etc.
• Assist with general administrative duties in office: mail, phones, scanning of client documents, and special projects.
