The Security Systems & Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting EdgeConneX’s global security operations, with responsibility for analyzing and interpreting security-related data across facilities, systems, and regions. The role supports the protection of people, physical assets, and information through accurate reporting, data integrity, and effective coordination. Through disciplined execution and attention to detail, the role contributes to maintaining a secure, reliable, and consistent operating environment for customers, employees, and partners worldwide.

Title: Network Administrator (Critical Infrastructure)
We are seeking a skilled and resilient Network Administrator to support EdgeConneX’ global enterprise infrastructure. This role is specifically designed for a networking professional who thrives in a mission-critical environment. You will be the primary point of contact for both local and remote sites' network health, focusing on our Cisco core, Building Management System (BMS) connectivity, and ensuring the absolute uptime required by our global customers.
The ideal candidate is not just a "Cisco expert" but someone who understands that in a data center, the network is the heartbeat of the facility. You must be comfortable troubleshooting complex issues under pressure in high-risk environments where downtime is not an option.
This position will report to EdgeConnex’ Sr. Director, Network Engineering and Systems and is based at our Dublin datacenter. This role follows a four-day-per-week onsite schedule. This position could also require as much as 10-20% within the EMEA region to support critical issues and new builds.

The Data Center Subject Matter Expert (Power) will serve as an in-house expert for power systems and is responsible for the critical operations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure within EdgeConneX data centers. This role reports to the Director of Data Center Operations and plays a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and continuous operations across assigned sites.
Manage projects and operational activities to support customer requirements and ensure 100% uptime
Initiate and support projects to improve operational processes and procedures
Ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of critical planned maintenance, in compliance with all EdgeConneX standards and procedures, leveraging qualified contractor and vendor resources with a strong focus on quality
Ensure the Director of Data Center Operations is fully informed of all critical planned, corrective, and emergent work occurring within the data centers
Plan and execute customer-requested work in a timely manner, providing clear status updates to both customers and the Director of Data Center Operations
In coordination with the Director of Data Center Operations:
Plan work on critical single-line electrical equipment in accordance with the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule
Develop maintenance roadmaps for approval by the Director of Data Center Operations and/or the appointed Authorised Person
Manage and oversee testing of mission-critical power equipment in accordance with EMEA and global standards
Ensure all contractor and vendor work is properly logged and tracked within EdgeConneX systems
Ensure all work performed by contractors and vendors is executed strictly in accordance with approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
Respond during normal working hours to alarms, critical incidents, and emergencies, communicating clearly, calmly, and in line with the site Emergency Response Plan
Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, quality, and efficiency, including initiatives that deliver cost savings without compromising safety or uptime
Administer project-related changes accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with EdgeConneX processes and procedures
Collaborate effectively with internal teams across Operations, Engineering, and other functional groups
Provide timely on-site response during emergencies to ensure personnel safety and operational continuity
Monitor multiple sites to ensure compliance with safety, operational, and performance standards
Strong technical knowledge of data center power systems, including transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, RPPs, and associated infrastructure
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively across disciplines to drive work to closure
Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities in a dynamic environment
Ability to meet committed timelines by leveraging collaboration and support from peers
Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups
High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline
Relevant technical qualification at NFQ Level 6–8 (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management) or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive experience supporting critical facilities, data centers, or comparable mission-critical environments
Electrical Authorised Person / Competent Person certification in accordance with Irish or UK standards (e.g., Safe Electric, HV/LV Authorisation, or equivalent)
Formal mechanical and/or electrical training, with a strong focus on power systems
Health & Safety training appropriate for supervisory roles (e.g., Safe Pass, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, or equivalent; OSHA30 accepted where applicable)
Demonstrated experience operating within live data center or other critical infrastructure environments
