What you’ll do

DoubleVerify seeks a talented, resourceful and well-connected Business Director to be based in Hong Kong, to help expand business across Hong Kong’s largest advertisers directly. This unique individual’s primary responsibility will be to prospect and win new Brands or Advertisers, directly or through their agency partners. To achieve the primary focus and goal of driving revenue growth from new logo wins, the Business Director will think strategically about our client’s brand goals and challenges, build and convey compelling value propositions and achieve an annual new business target. We are looking for a strong, strategic salesperson who has a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and a passion for the latest emerging technologies. Very strong knowledge of digital environments (display, video, mobile), online marketing techniques and technologies (Platforms, DSPs,  AdExchanges etc.), programmatic ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal quarterly/annual revenue and new business targets, as agreed with the Group Director
• Cultivate strong relationships with senior client and agencies stakeholders in order to develop client- specific value propositions, positioning DoubleVerify as a strategic/preferred partner in the region
• Evangelise DoubleVerify’s value proposition, best practices and perspectives to our customers and our industry peers via events, webinars, and other direct client communications channels.
• Partner effectively with multiple internal stakeholders (Client Partners, Account Management, Integrated Solution Directions) to support sales efforts
• Define the growth strategy for your portfolio with clear guidance on key client and agency stakeholders, client/opportunity prioritization
• Ensure sales pipeline and activity is maintained and provide timely management / Salesforce reporting as required.
• Must demonstrate accountability/ownership through every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, must have a real knack for customer service.
• The ability to deepen partnerships based on value and a talent for consultative selling
• Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze and articulate information with product team
• Attend industry events and follow-up with leads generated in a timely fashion
  
  

Requirements

• You will have a clear and proven track record of winning new business
• Experience managing or selling solutions in advertising technology, data or other solutions related to online advertising.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically to identify a brand’s key business objectives and challenges, and translate and build into compelling value propositions.
• Skilled at building a robust pipeline to fuel business growth.
• Team player mindset with proven experience in working collaboratively with internal teams to drive business growth and sales.
• Extensive contacts across Hong Kong Advertisers as well as Agencies and a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams and planning cycles.
• Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-departmentally.
• Skilled at communicating effectively throughout the organization.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with collaboration and teamwork at the core of your approach.
• Ability to craft a strong presentation and have excellent communications skills.
• Rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

What you’ll do

The Account Manager is responsible for servicing all aspects of customer accounts and relationships, a critical role. You will oversee all aspects of campaigns across kick-off, implementation, launch, reporting, remediation, and billing. The Account Manager will work closely and collaboratively with Sales, Implementation, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to deliver world class customer service and solutions to the market. The Account Manager plays an integral role in recommending and implementing strategies for driving ongoing client product needs and will be responsible for educating customers about all aspects of the DoubleVerify product suite, and how products can be leveraged to meet their goals and objectives.

• Responsible for proactively managing the day-to-day Agency and/or Network partner relationships of assigned accounts.
• Provide strategic and tactical client service to a complex, high touch customer base.
• Proactively oversee assigned portfolios, identifying growth opportunities and up-sell potential within the existing client base.
• Hands on management of client business processes including, but not limited to onboarding and implementation, reporting and proactive remediation, and billing.
• Ensure the quality of services and solutions, including satisfactory resolution of all support requests, and troubleshooting of all reporting, ad-serving, or data issues.
• Organize and conduct kick-off and on-going calls with clients and internal teams to understand campaign deliverables.
• Compile performance evaluations for each client, highlighting the DoubleVerify value proposition throughout.
• Monitor and report campaign performance to ensure delivery and billing and extracts insight from reports.
• Facilitate and ensure contract billing process is administered with quality in a timely manner.
• Understand and effectively communicate DoubleVerify’s value proposition, technology, and partnerships as relates to growth of current and prospective client accounts.
• Successfully manage customer expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strong, active relationships with clients at both senior and mid- management levels.
• Finesse sometimes complicated relationships across Advertisers, Agencies, Networks, Publishers, and 3rd Party Technology partners.
• Participate in client meetings to understand partner goals and objectives.
• Manage and/or participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Close the feedback loop internally by providing customer insights on ways DoubleVerify may improve products and services.
• Other responsibilities may be required such as attending offsite meetings, conferences or industry events, etc. as necessary.
• Special projects as identified by management

Who you are

• Experience in Sales or Account Management with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent/higher level of education.
• Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Direct experience working at one or more of the following: advertising agency, publisher, ad network or demand side platform.
• Experience with Ad Serving technology
• Comprehensive understanding the online media marketplace.
• Experience managing online media products and technologies such as experience with creative trafficking, campaign management, or ad serving.
• Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player, who will hit the ground running.
• Proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and consistently perform in high pressure environments.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying issues clearly, making points concisely and ensuring successful overall communication
• channels.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management including senior executive level.
• Organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive “can-do” approach.
