We are looking for a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for customer billing inquiries, managing the Zendesk billing inbox and resolving routine requests end-to-end. This role will directly support the Finance team by handling day-to-day customer-facing work, freeing team members to focus on other areas of billing execution, payment processing, process improvement, and cross-functional projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working across multiple systems, and confident communicating with customers in a professional, clear tone. They collaborate with senior team members to determine the appropriate level of escalation for complex or non-standard issues.

Eligible candidates have and can work successfully in a small to mid-sized fast-paced, hyper-growth, SaaS start-up or scale-up.

In this role you will: 

• Zendesk Billing Support (Primary Focus)
• Monitor and manage the Zendesk billing inbox, responding to customer tickets promptly and accurately with follow up as needed.
• Resolve routine billing inquiries including: sending copies of invoices, updating billing addresses or contact information, answering general billing and payment questions, and directing customers to self-service resources where applicable.
• Identify and escalate more complex issues (e.g., disputed charges, subscription discrepancies, refund requests) to senior billing team members.
• Flag recurring ticket patterns or potential systemic issues (e.g., bugs introduced after product updates) for broader resolution.
• Enterprise Invoice Portal Uploads
• Upload invoices into enterprise customers’ payment portals on their required schedule.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of uploads to prevent payment delays.

• Vendor Form Completion
• Complete vendor/supplier forms received from the Sales team or directly from clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information as needed.

• Cash Application & AR Support
• Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to open invoices in NetSuite/Chargebee accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and overpayments; coordinate with customers on remittance details.
• Assist with AR aging review and follow-up on past-due accounts under guidance of senior billing/AR staff.

• Invoice & Billing Accuracy
• Generate, review, and issue invoices, credit memos, and adjustments in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
• Reconcile billing data between CRM, billing system (Chargebee), and ERP (NetSuite) to ensure subscription and revenue accuracy.
• Support proration, true-ups, and mid-term contract changes as directed.

• Month-End Close Support
• Assist with month-end AR close tasks, including invoice cutoff, deferred revenue support schedules, and reconciliations.
• Help prepare AR-related schedules and documentation for internal review and external audits.

• Sales Tax & Compliance
• Verify customer tax exemption certificates and ensure proper setup in Anrok/Chargebee.
• Flag potential sales tax or revenue recognition issues to senior team members.

• Controls & Documentation
• Follow established internal controls over billing, cash application, and customer master data changes.
• Maintain organized records of customer communications, approvals, and supporting documentation for audit readiness.

• General Support
• Assist with ad hoc billing operations tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to maintaining and updating internal documentation in Confluence.
• Participate in team meetings and training to build billing operations knowledge over time.

To qualify for this role you have: 

• 3–4 years of experience in a billing, customer support, or operations role.
• Strong written communication skills with a professional, clear, and friendly tone.
• Comfort working across multiple platforms simultaneously (training will be provided on specific tools).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes consistently.
• Ability to exercise judgment on when to resolve independently vs. escalate.
• Ability to work hours overlapping with ET hours
• Must be eligible to work in the region of hire without sponsorship from an employer now and/or in the future

Bonus points for: 

• Experience with Netsuite, Zendesk, Chargebee, Salesforce, or similar billing/support platforms.
• Familiarity with SaaS subscription billing models.

Reporting to the CFO and serving as a member of the extended leadership team, the Vice President of FP&A will be a trusted partner to executives across the company and the steward of how we plan, measure, and communicate performance. You will lead the FP&A function end-to-end, including annual and long-range planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, operational finance, workforce and compensation planning, and the metrics and KPIs that guide decision-making across the business. You will also own the financial narrative for the Board and our investors.

You will manage a high-performing team, sharpen our operating cadence, and turn data into clear recommendations that move the company forward. The ideal candidate brings executive presence, a collaborative style, and a bias toward simple, durable systems over one-off analyses.

In this role, you will:

• Strategic Planning: Lead long-range planning (LRP) and annual budgeting, translating data into insights that drive profitability.
• Board/PE Partnership: Prepare presentations for Board meetings, Private Equity sponsors, and other Stakeholders.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing on bookings forecasts, capacity planning, and GTM investment modeling. Partner with G&A functions on day-to-day operational support and strategic initiatives. 
• Systems Improvement: Enhance FP&A tools to automate processes and improve reporting speed.
• GTM Efficiency: Analyze GTM investments, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and LTV (Lifetime Value) to optimize profitability.
• Pricing Strategy: Support pricing modeling and sales compensation modeling.
• Variance Analysis: Lead monthly P&L reviews, analyzing variances in bookings and revenue. 
• Comp and HC Planning: Partner with the People team on workforce planning, headcount modeling, compensation strategy, sales commissions, and total rewards affordability.

To qualify for this role, you have:

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership of FP&A at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• A track record of managing, developing, and scaling finance teams, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning.
• Deep operational finance experience, including cost structure optimization, vendor and spend management, and cross-functional business partnering at the executive level.
• Demonstrated ownership of Board reporting and investor communications, with the ability to turn complex financial performance into a clear, confident narrative.
• Hands-on experience with compensation planning in partnership with People and Talent leaders, including headcount budgeting, sales comp modeling, and equity planning.
• Proven ability to define and operationalize KPIs and metrics that drive executive decisions and company-wide alignment.
• Expert financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities, along with fluency in modern planning tools and the systems roadmap that supports them.
• Experience leading M&A analysis, diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
• Outstanding communication and executive presence, with the judgment to know when to zoom in on the detail and when to step back to the headline.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working remotely.
• Must be eligible to work in the region of hire without sponsorship from an employer now and/or in the future.

• Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Prior experience as a VP of FP&A or VP of Finance reporting directly to a CFO in a PE or VC-backed environment.
• Experience preparing a company for, or operating through, an IPO or acquisition.
