Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Global & Strategic Planning, the Director of Global & Strategic Planning (GSP) extends the Pillar’s capacity and continuity across a growing global footprint by supporting enterprise integration, cross-border planning coordination, strategic risk identification, and initiative oversight. Position Summary:
OceanX Education is seeking a Director of Immersive Education Programs to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of student and educator programs across the OceanX ecosystem. This includes onshore and on-ship hackathons, immersive labs, residencies, fellowships, early-career programs, and portside experiences.
This role sits at the intersection of education, immersive media, science, and experiential learning. The Director will build high-impact programs that enable participants to ideate, prototype, and collaborate across OceanX’s science, media, and immersive storytelling platforms.
In close partnership with Immersive Programs, Science, Media, Partnerships, and Public Events teams, the Director will translate immersive media concepts, tools, and workflows into accessible, impactful educational experiences. These programs are designed to prepare participants to meaningfully contribute to OceanX initiatives and create a seamless pathway from learning to real-world collaboration.
This is a hands-on role requiring travel and in-person facilitation, including leading and delivering programs onboard the OceanX vessel at-sea in dynamic, expeditionary environments. Position Summary:
OceanX is seeking a Finance Director who will serve as the senior financial and accounting leader across OceanX, responsible for both strategic financial planning and the integrity of the organization’s accounting infrastructure. Position Summary:
The Director of Data Governance & Global Privacy will be responsible for building and leading the global data governance and privacy program. This role will ensure that our data is well-managed, secure, and compliant with privacy laws in all regions where we operate, including the United States, Europe (GDPR), Singapore (PDPA), and the UAE (PDPL). This hire will start as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and will guide the buildout of the team as the program grows. This is a highly visible role that will work closely with Legal, Security, and business leaders to establish a strong foundation for data management and compliance.

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $200,000 -$300,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.

OceanX is seeking a Director of Partnerships, APAC to lead the development and management of relationships with a diverse range of potential funders across the region, including government entities, foundations, climate funds, multi-laterals, corporations, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, this director-level role stewards a portfolio of current partnerships while actively cultivating new relationships and maintaining visibility within the regional fundraising community.
The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship management skills with strategic fundraising expertise, regional knowledge, and the ability to represent the global partnership team effectively.
