As a Senior Delivery Manager in the Privacy Solutions function, you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of privacy solutions (Expert Determination, Process Reports, State Opinion Letters etc) for Datavant’s clients assigned to your portfolio. You will partner with internal and external senior stakeholders, and ensure that our privacy solutions drive real, measurable impact for customers. This is not just a project management role - it’s an opportunity to shape how privacy is delivered at scale across the healthcare industry.

What You Will Own & Deliver:

Client Engagement

• Serve as a trusted delivery partner for key clients, helping them navigate complex privacy challenges, align with their business objectives and risk strategies, and achieve data-sharing goals in a HIPAA compliant manner.
• Build and strengthen strategic client relationships, ensuring long-term customer success and retention.
• Shape privacy best practices within Datavant and with clients.

Project & Program Leadership

• Own the end-to-end delivery of privacy projects for high-value accounts, ensuring they are executed with precision, efficiency, and impact.
• Drive execution across multiple complex projects, managing and allocating resources, priorities, and risks proactively.
• Ensure that our central PM tool is the source of truth
• Align internal teams—including Sales, Strategic Engagement, Technical Solutions and Data Science —to deliver seamless, high-value solutions.
• Ensure that projects not only meet scope, timeline, and budget, but also deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement scalable delivery frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of privacy solution deployments.
• Establish and refine metrics for success, ensuring transparency in project impact and client satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement by incorporating feedback loops and leveraging data-driven insights.
• Develop best practices to improve project execution across the organization.

What You Bring to the Table: 

• 7+ years of experience leading the scoping and delivery of consultative engagements, including comprehensive project and engagement management with external stakeholders and a demonstrated competence in scope and expectation management.
• Proven ability to drive project-based work, managing tasks, schedules, deliverables, budgets, and project risks , in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical subject matter experts in a manner that fosters a productive environment for the project team.
• Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in both leadership and team member roles in dynamic environments.

• Project Management certification, eg. Scrum, PMP, etc.
• Relevant Healthcare industry experience (eg. Real World Data)

Datavant is looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Data Scientist (Privacy) to join our growing team, which interrogates and assesses client information in terms of the re-identification risk to patients.

As part of the Privacy Science team within Privacy Solutions you will play a crucial role in ensuring that privacy of patients is safeguarded in the modern world of data sharing. As well as working on real data, you will be involved in exciting research to keep us as industry leaders in this area, and stimulating discussions on re-identification risk. You will be supported in developing/consolidating data analysis and coding skills to become proficient in the analysis of large health-related datasets. 

You Will:

• Critically analyse large health datasets using standard and bespoke software libraries
• Discuss your findings and progress with internal and external stakeholders
• Produce high quality reports which summarise your findings
• Contribute to research activities as we explore novel and established sources of re-identification risk

What You Will Bring to the Table: 

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or similar.
• Familiarity or proficiency with programmable data analysis software R or Python, and the desire to develop expertise in its language
• A good understanding of statistical probability distributions, bias, error and power as well as sampling and resampling methods
• Seeks to understand real-world data in context rather than consider it in abstraction
• Application of scientific methods to practical problems through experimental design, exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to reach robust conclusions
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience of prioritising work to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail in the production of comprehensive, well-presented reports
• Initiative and ability to independently explore and research novel topics and concepts as they arise, to expand Privacy Solution’ knowledge base
• An appreciation of the need for effective methods in data privacy and security, and an awareness of the relevant legislation
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services cloud-based storage and computing facilities
