As our commercial activity scales, we are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to own and optimize the core commercial processes that power our global sales organization, with a strong focus on complex enterprise deals, legal-commercial workflows, and AI-enabled sales operations.
This role is highly hands-on and cross-functional, working daily with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Leadership.
You will be the operational backbone of Cylus’ commercial execution. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial proposals, contracts, and pipeline management, while actively implementing AI tools and automation to improve speed, quality, and predictability across sales processes.
This role is ideal for someone with a commercial, legal, or contracts background, who enjoys structured thinking, complexity, and making order out of moving parts.

We’re looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to join our growing team in Europe and help accelerate our expansion across the DACH region with a focus on Germany. This role will be remote and requires travel across the target region to engage with customers, partners, and industry events.

In This Role, You Will
- Drive Sales Activities: Support and lead the sales process from prospecting and generating opportunities to closure, including lead generation, customer engagement, and proposal development.
- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the rail and cybersecurity ecosystems.
- Support Market Strategy: Collaborate with senior team members to identify new opportunities, develop go-to-market plans, and support strategic sales initiatives.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Cylus’ technical and marketing teams to ensure customer success and consistent messaging.
- Represent Cylus: Attend industry events and conferences, helping to expand our presence and network across the DACH rail community.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the rail, transportation, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and contributing to complex sales cycles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-growing, small-team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required across the DACH region.
Big Plus
- Existing network or relationships within the rail industry (freight and/or passenger/transit).
- Background in technical fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Previous experience in cybersecurity sales or technology partnerships.
- Experience working within a start-up environment.
