About the role 

We’re now seeking four B2B Account Executives for the EMEA region, based in the UK. These roles form part of our FY27 partnership focused hiring plan.  This is a combined Business Development / Account Managements role. In this role you will collaborate with the Global Head of Enterprise to craft solutions and go-to-market strategies that will propel our business to new heights. We’re on a mission to simplify life’s most important payments by becoming the embedded finance solution for international property. In additional to property our solution is also suitable for Businesses looking to make large international or mass payments (think payroll providers, accountancy firms etc.) Our solution can be fully embedded into an existing payment process OR we can also offer a full technical implementation which is API led, though we are focusing more on partnership driven opportunities

With a strong value proposition established, we’re looking for candidates who are comfortable taking an early-stage product to market successfully. 

What you’ll do 

• You will have end-to-end responsibility across the 6 to 12 week sales cycle, including origination and initial relationship management.
• You will self-source 70% of leads, with SDR and Marketing support for the remaining 30%. You will also be supporting by a solutions engineer
• Developing a deep understanding of customer process gaps, translating them into optimal solutions that meet their needs.
• Working closely with stakeholders across sales, product, IT, compliance, and marketing teams to effectively communicate client needs and maximize new business conversion.
• Supporting an organization-wide engagement strategy to drive internal sales and engaging directly with both direct customers and channel partners as required.
• Collaborate with the wider sales leadership team to support strategic planning and objectives.

What you’ll need 

• Proven success in developing propositions and commercializing new SaaS products and solutions- ideally in the Payments space
• Previous experience of selling full technical API led Implementations as well as partnership driven software
• Experience of end to end pipeline management and closing
• Demonstrable experience in managing long and complex sales cycles and influencing the speed of closing opportunities.
• End to end pipeline management and closing experience
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships at senior levels.
• Comfort with both face-to-face client meetings and remote methods.
• Sufficient understanding and experience of integration methodologies to effectively collaborate with product and development teams in crafting end solutions.
• A strong track record of collaborative work across multiple functions.
• Consistent ability to close high-value opportunities and exceed financial targets.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Bonus Points 

• Previous experience in the fintech or proptech sectors
• Previous experience within the international payments ecosystem
• Experience of working on the MEDDIC sales methodology
• Background knowledge and understanding of International Real Estate

About the Role

Currencies Direct specializes in international payments, helping customers move money across borders. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our affiliate partnership network in the UK Legal & residential property sectors by identifying and engaging new business opportunities. Understanding prospective partners’ business, needs and requirements will enable you to promote CD’s value proposition and deliver tailored solutions. This role has a B2B focus, working with companies that require a cross-border payments and FX service (think companies that import and export goods and services, who need to pay suppliers in other countries via other currencies.

What You'll Do

• Identify and engage prospective partners within the B2B space
• Outbound sales to new partnership opportunities and prospective partners already in CRM who have engaged with Currencies Direct in the past
• Online & in-person meetings, conference attendance and presentations to win new business or to train and onboard new partners

What You’ll Need

• Demonstrable record of Business Development success
• An existing network within a relevant and transferrable industry
• Experience in outbound sales and lead generation
• Experience in negotiation and closing of deals
• Working knowledge of the legal & residential property sectors, and key participants
• To be:
• Resourceful, articulate and action orientated.
• Hard working with good attention to detail and an entrepreneurial approach to sales.

Bonus Points

• Extensive sales experience within the legal sector is a strong advantage
• Sales experience or a track record in selling a financial service or working in partnerships
• Established partner and business network in the legal or residential property sector
