TACG is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team in support of a contract at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA.  This is a mixed position performing the duties of a sheet metal mechanic and aircraft mechanic. The candidate in this position is required to perform several unrelated aircraft overhaul functions for assigned aircraft. 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Develop patterns and lay out, cut, form, join, assemble, and install metal parts, items, and assemblies
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders in manufacturing aircraft sheet metal structures that have combined straight and curved edges, and irregular angles, planes, and curves
• Evaluate structural damage to aircraft sheet metal systems or items to be manufactured, repaired, or modified, and examine aircraft sheet metal structures to locate cracks, breaks, holes, bulges, dents, and loose or missing rivets
• Determine the type and extent of repairs needed to restore original strength to components such as frames, stringers, bulkheads, spars, ribs, and stiffeners

Requirements: 

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Airframe Certificate

• Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • 1-3 years civilian or military aircraft sheet metal experience
  • Prior experience planning, laying out work in manufacturing aircraft sheet metal parts and components that have combined straight and curved edges, and irregular angles, planes, and curves.
  • Proven experience using hand and power tools such as hammers, chisels, hand snips, band and circle saws, squaring shears, seamers, bar folders, brakes, and stakes, and operating complex hand and power machines such as slip roll forming machines, box and pan brakes, rotary machines with extra forming rolls, crimpers and beading machines, and soldering and welding equipment.
  • Knowledge of the characteristics and properties of metals used in the trade such as stainless steel, magnesium, and alloys, and of advanced shop mathematics and principles of radial-line development combined with parallel-line development to calculate and scribe patterns involving combined straight and curved edges or irregular curves, angles, and planes.
  • Knowledge of the makeup, operation, installation, and adjustment of a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems, and assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, instrumentation systems, engines, landing gear assemblies, airframe, and control surfaces.
  • Using complicated measuring instruments such as protractors, calipers, snap ring, height, depth, dial, and screw pitch gauges, and other hand measurement devices to measure plans and projects.
  • Ability to examine aircraft sheet metal structures to locate cracks, breaks, holes, bulges, dents, and loose or missing rivets and determine the type and extent of repairs needed to restore original strength, and to make repairs by manufacturing and installing new parts and reinforcing, patching, and replacing defective parts.

TACG is seeking a Link 16- Air Battle Manager to support the US Government Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract for Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Link-16 Technical Support.  This full-time position is located at HQ RSAF in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and includes lodging, transportation, cell phones and other amenities as part of employment.

 Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

• Provide expert ABM and WC support to RSAF Sector Operations Centers (SOC) and Air Operation Center (AOC) with the utilization of Link 16.
• Provide key operational solutions to issues that arise during daily operations.
• Provide Link 16 support to ABM’s and WCs in training.
• Support the development of curriculum for the ABM and WC employment of Link 16
• Execute tasks assigned by HoD related to Link 16 including attending meetings and conferences, preparing briefings, etc
• Keep up to date of emerging Link 16 technologies, operational and technological research, and user trends in terms of the operational and technology choices. 

Essential Job Qualifications:

• Clearance:
  • Secret security clearance
• Experience:
  • 15 years’ military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 10 years’ ABM/Weapons Controller (WC) experience.
  • 5 years’ experience utilizing Link 16 for ABM and WC operations.
  • 5 years’ ABM/Weapons Controller OJT trainer.
  • Weapons Controller Instructor experience preferred.
  • Candidate shall have ABM experience.
  • Candidate shall have a strong understanding of Link 16 and the employment of Link 16 on Command and Control and fighter aircraft.
  • Candidate shall have a solid understanding of digital control of fighter aircraft via Link 16
  • Candidate shall have experience working with coalition partners.
  • Candidate shall have experience providing support during exercises. Candidate shall have experience providing On the Job Training (OJT) to ABM’s and WCs in training.

TACG is seeking a Link-16 RSAF OCONUS Manager to lead current RSAF Link-16 efforts in In Kingdom (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). This OCONUS Manager shall make recommendations to the Saudi Arabian Government on improvements of RSAF Link-16 program. They shall brief the Saudi Arabian Government and the United States Government/United States Air Force (USG/USAF) on the status of their assigned programs and the respective processes.  The TACG Link16 OCONUS Manager will be provided a villa and transportation in support of their in-kingdom duties.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

• Provide meeting and conference support and preparing briefings for In-Kingdom and for international Link-16 meetings to ensure RSAF gains maximum benefit from the meetings.
•  Assist with the development, function and support of acquisition and deployment strategies using management structures such as cross functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). 
• Review and provide input on advanced planning documents which outline future objectives of the customer
• Provide logistics or acquisition support including, but not limited to: comprehensive Link-16 integration into aircraft programs and acquisition support to aircraft modifications as necessary.
• Provide technical assistance to establish and maintain combat effectiveness of RSAF systems including training systems, sub-systems and equipment. Review scope of Link-16: 1) Repairs, 2) Maintenance, 3) Test and upgrades required, and recommend changes to ensure effective hardware and software use and maximum supportability.
• Track and report status of the following on a weekly basis to RSAF for Link-16: 
  1) Any acquisition efforts, 2) Repair and Return, 3) Shipping of production and repaired equipment. 
• Participate in studies and program reviews as necessary to support requirements listed in 
  this document.
• Provide other support limited to non-personal services as required to support the RSAF Link-16 committee chairman, customers, contracting officer, and contracting officer’s representative. 

Requirements: 

• Active Secret Clearance. 
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of U.S. Military experience or 15 years Link-16 Subject Matter Expert experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in supporting RSAF.
•  Possess at least a total of 3 years overall combined experience in RSAF programs and FMS acquisition.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in Link-16 programs, in maintenance of Link-16, and in training of Link-16.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience with Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience with the U.S. State Department Third Party Transfer (TPT) process for COMSEC equipment.
• Excellent communication and demonstrating skills. 
• Manage an effective and operating Link-16 program without any RSAF complaints.
