Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled product manager to join our Customer Experience product team. In this role, working with designers, data analysts and business stakeholders, you will lead improvements, innovations and new program launches to the Coupang Taiwan shopping experience on our mobile app and website. Successful candidates will build products to help attract new customers and improve the experience for our existing customers, ultimately scaling the overall business in Taiwan. We're seeking someone hands-on with a structured mindset, strong analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication, and strong project management abilities. 

What You Will Do : 

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and KPIs for one or more areas within customer experience. 

• Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, identifying use cases, and establishing success metrics. 

• Develop hypotheses to innovate on our customer experience, working closely with designers to push the boundaries of user experience, and validating them through experimentation with clearly defined user input and business output metrics.  

• Drive new product development with clear objectives and timelines, fostering cross-functional collaboration across teams and employing rigorous project management methodologies.  

Essential Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical disciplines, or have equivalent experiences. 

• At least 6 years of product management experience, with a track record of developing and executing a compelling product vision.  

• An analytical mindset suited to a fast-paced, data-driven, and highly dynamic and ambiguous start-up like environment. 

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently. 

• A bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done. 

• Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively and influence others.

The Sr. UX Researcher will be a core member of the Taiwan UX leadership team, responsible for managing the research required to conceive and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. S/he will be expected to plan innovative research programs and employ the latest research methodologies to analyze customer behavior to derive actionable insights for product innovation.

What you'll do :

• Develop and own the overall qual/quan research strategy and roadmap.

• Employ the latest research methodologies to improve research quality and reliability.

• Help shape the future state of products/categories by driving product decisions through the provision of actionable insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams (UX, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Fulfillments).

Basic Qualifications :

• Over 5 years of experience employing qualitative and quantitative research methodologies within a consumer-orientated business model; background in UX Research, Market Research, Consumer Analysis, Usability Testing, Strategic Analysis, etc. or experience/skill set that will match the qualification.

• Closely partner with the Design and Product owners to develop strategy and rationale for features.

• Collaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Ability to conduct efficient research planning within a fast-paced, agile environment where resources and time must be prioritized effectively.

• Domain knowledge of the e-commerce and/or food delivery sectors or understanding of the complexities of a marketplace/consumer platform model is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining the GTM strategy, leading design discussions, testing, iterating, and overseeing pre- and post-launch execution.
• Ability to combine strategic foresight with a strong execution focus to drive results.  Combined with exceptional analytical skills to drive decision-making and system optimizations based on robust data analysis.
• Experience in launching consumer-facing products in a fast-paced environment, with a preference for candidates who have worked in start-ups or large tech companies.
• A proactive approach, with a willingness to delve into details, drive results, adapt and find creative solutions in a constantly changing environment.  Hands on experience working in an agile environment with a rapid iteration cadence (Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the e-commerce industry.
• Experience working and influencing cross-functionally and building relationships across globally distributed teams, with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives.
• Experience leading, driving, launching and managing projects with at one of the targeted workloads: AI; ML; NLP/NLU; Deep Learning; LLM; OCR; or any other relevant technologies.
