Job Description Summary
The Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for developing high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with rigorous coding standards. This individual works in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure that software deliverables—including designs, code, and tests—are completed in a timely manner, while remaining aligned with industry and organizational standards.
Core Responsibilities
• System Engineering: Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
• Agile Participation: Work actively within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Operational Excellence: Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack; work on systems critical to the company's current and future operations.
• Mentorship & Influence: Influence others within the Software Engineering team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
• Standards & Tooling: Assist with the improvement of organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Quality & Validation: Evaluate code for validity, proper structure, and alignment with industry standards; participate in testing and certification.
Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)
• Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile environments, proficient in iterative development and collaborating with Product and QA.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Golang is required. (Candidates with expert-level Java or Python experience and a commitment to transitioning to Go will be considered).
• Cloud Native Architecture: Deep familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
• System Design: Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems capable of handling high traffic and large-scale datasets.
• Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases. • SDLC: Comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to have)
• Cybersecurity Domain Knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates with experience building or maintaining security products, particularly SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and VM (Vulnerability Management).
• Security Standards: Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, and common vulnerability frameworks.
• Tooling: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Education: Active participation in professional conferences or specialized tech groups.

• Provides support to the Security Services team, with a high attention to detail

General Summary:
The Technical Services Specialist is responsible for assisting ConnectWise partners in diagnosing and resolving product issues or questions. This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and document issue partner issues.

General Summary:

••Provides support to the Product Management team, with a high attention to detail
••Product strategy and roadmap for deep integrations with Microsoft ecosystem products including Microsoft Partner Center integration, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Teams

The Principal Software Engineer I is a high-impact technical leadership role responsible for architecting and developing innovative, high-performance software systems. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical solutions, ensuring that our engineering output remains world class and strictly compliant with industry standards.
As a senior technical authority, you will shape the technical direction of the team, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement by leveraging modern, AI-augmented development workflows and robust cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities
• System Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, high-throughput data pipelines, and real-time streaming systems.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide high-level support to engineering teams, coaching developers and conducting rigorous code reviews to ensure validity, performance, and adherence to security standards.
• AI-Augmented Development: Drive engineering efficiency by integrating and championing the use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude. Use these technologies to optimize boilerplate generation, complex refactoring, and deep architectural debugging.
• Operational Excellence: Debug complex production issues across various services and multiple levels of the stack; assist in refining organizational engineering standards and tooling.
• SDLC Oversight: Lead the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial research and documentation to final certification and deployment.
• Quality Assurance: Lead the testing process, including test review, analysis, and witnessing to ensure software is robust and compatible with diverse operating systems.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technology by researching emerging trends and participating in professional workshops to keep the organization competitive.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
• Core Languages: Proficiency in Golang is highly preferred. Strong expertise in Java or Python is required.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud-native development and infrastructure management (specifically AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Data Management: Extensive experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, or MongoDB) databases.
• SDLC & DevOps: Mastery of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
• AI Productivity: Proven experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate coding, automate documentation, and improve code quality.
• Leadership: Experience mentoring team members and making high-level architectural decisions.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Preference will be given to candidates with Cybersecurity domain knowledge, SIEM, vulnerability remediation etc.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Streaming Technologies: Familiarity with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ etc.
• Advanced Automation: Ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven "agentic" workflows to further automate routine engineering tasks.
