Job Title: Manager, AMS
Locations: Ahmedabad
Reports to: Sr. Director, AMS
A quick snapshot…
Conga is looking for a highly energetic and dedicated individual to join our AMS team as a manager. Your responsibilities would include managing the multiple concurrent AMS projects, such as leading enterprise-scale programs, planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery governance. Your role will lead the architecture, design and system integrations across Conga solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, TS, Product, Admin, and HR.

An experienced manager offers strategic guidance to teams and serves as a critical link between strategy and execution, leading high-performing teams from the front, managing multiple complexes, enterprise-scale programs, and ensuring seamless delivery, strong adoption, and sustained operational excellence across engagements. You be an excellent leader who can manage a staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The goal is to ensure that all the engagements deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
A Proven Track Record. You are an expert level engineer focusing on .NET and (or) Salesforce development with at least 10 years in the software industry and at least 2 years’ experience in managing a development team following agile scrum.
Related Experience. You should be detail-oriented in planning, prioritization, resource allocation and successful Go-Live delivery. Maintaining strategic alignment between the program and the organization, interfacing with the stakeholders, and leading the program to its successful completion.
Skillset. You have a strong technical background as a programmer working on backend technologies such as C#.Net, design patterns, API, SQL and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Software Architecture, Problem Solving and software development methodologies. Good understanding in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS.
Deployment & Collaboration Tools. You should have experience working with container-based platforms like Docker/ Kubernetes and be proficient with source control and team collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira, Jenkins.
Risk Management. You should have good experience in identifying risks to on-time release and help teams take corrective action.
Education. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.

Interpersonal skills. You’re not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. You proactively help teams to identify external team dependencies or inter-team dependencies to schedule stories/ features to be on track for a release with performance and tests and closure on performance issues. Collaborating with other Pillars leaders to define, prioritize, and deliver.
Analytical thinker and creative problem solver. You are able to see issues holistically and follow the flow of the stack to get to the root of the matter -- a key skill in this role. But where you really shine is with your ability to identify creative solutions to unique customer requirements. This is critical for ensuring our customer issues are resolved in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations without increasing their costs.
