Join Collibra’s Product Design Team

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our product design team, focusing on designing intuitive and innovative user experiences for a complex data application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design principles, a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into user-friendly interfaces. Specifically, you’ll be joining a growing product organization working on our enterprise SaaS platform and will help the team ensure that it aligns to our global design patterns and meets both user and business needs. You will ensure user/customer input is gathered, statistically analyzed and used in a manner that facilitates product and software improvement.

This is a hybrid role based in our Prague office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

As a Senior Product Designer on the design team you are responsible for

• Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility
• Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively illustrate user flows and functionality.
• Designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our complex data application.
• Clearly communicating design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders through presentations and documentation.
• Conducting user research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Analyzing and interpreting user data from various sources to inform design decisions.
• Aligning your work with user personas, and creating journey maps to guide design processes.
• Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and Iterating on designs based on results.
• Working closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
• Participating in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Maintaining and contributing to our design system to ensure consistency across the application.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Demonstrating proficiency of Collibra’s primary UX tools and methodologies.                                                                                                                                                                                     
• Articulating customer needs and the Collibra differentiation across assigned platform areas.  
• Managing your workload to meet deadlines, resolving project blockers, and proactively communicating the status of your deliverables to project stakeholders    

You have 

• Demonstrated understanding of UX design principles and practices, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver valuable and tangible designs which meet business goals.
• Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• A portfolio of projects demonstrating high-quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web and desktop applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience contributing to an Agile environment while practicing user-centered design.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) for task management and collaboration.
• An increasing understanding of development paradigms and principles, and a willingness to learn how data ingestion/usage impacts UX.
• 8+  years UX/UI, HCI (aka product design) experience .
• Familiarity with SaaS sales concepts, data preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
• You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.

Measures of Success 

Reporting to Collibra’s Director of Product Design, measures of success are

• Month 1: Deep dive into onboarding, understanding our products, and getting to know the team
• Month 2: Begin contributing to active projects by developing wireframes and prototypes for new features or improvements.
• Month 3: Finalize high-fidelity mockups and detailed design specifications for implementation.

Senior Accountants at Collibra are responsible for

• G&A and S&M accounting 
  • Accrual accounting
  • PO approval process and management
• Balance Sheet reconciliations for related accounts

  • +10 countries incl. US GAAP and IFRS
  • GAAP conversion
  • Process management with external service provider 
• Leading the monthly and year-end closing process related to your global responsibilities
• Assisting with the external group audit in relation to your global responsibilities

• Assisting process improvements through AI and automation

You have

• Degree in accounting or finance (+4 years of experience)
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
• Experience with Netsuite, IFRS and Workiva is a plus

In this role, you aren’t just a troubleshooter; you are an investigator, a mentor to our Customer Support Engineers, and the ultimate gatekeeper before a ticket reaches Product & Engineering.

Senior Support Engineers at Collibra are responsible for

• Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the gap between customer-facing support and product development.
• Reviewing and validating complex tickets, ensuring every investigation is exhaustive and root causes are identified before escalating to Engineering.
• Identifying code defects and edge cases in our platform. You don't just find the "what"; you explain the "why."
• Improving observability by identifying logging and monitoring improvements and unblocking customers using our software.
• Acting as a mentor to the Global Support organization providing structured enablement, training sessions, and validated knowledgebase contributions.
• Participating in the on-call rotations when needed to ensure severe issues get addressed as soon as possible.
• Liaising with Product Managers and Engineering to clarify functional requirements and advocate for long-term fixes.
• Act as the final point of technical escalation, joining live sessions with key customers to resolve complex environmental issues and provide expert-level troubleshooting guidance

You Have

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (ideally SaaS) with at least 2+ years of hands-on development in Java or Python
• Advanced SQL proficiency and the technical depth to perform complex query optimization, alongside a proven track record of resolving intricate JDBC/ODBC integration hurdles and database-level firewall restrictions.
• A proven ability to conduct comprehensive log analysis within distributed environments, bringing together disparate system data to speed up troubleshooting and identify the exact fixes needed to resolve issues.
• A deep understanding of how SaaS platforms interact with on-premise data sources, including troubleshooting networks, proxies and SSL/TLS certificates
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and Linux environments.
• An understanding of metadata structures and data flows across cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery), ETL tools (dbt, Informatica), and BI systems (Tableau, Power BI) (Nice to have)
• The ability to distill complex technical post-mortems into actionable insights for both customers and internal stakeholders.

Software Engineers at Collibra are responsible for

• Designing, building, and maintaining customer-facing deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management workflows for the Edge Platform across a wide range of Kubernetes environments.
• Operating and improving Kubernetes-based environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, spanning a variety of distributions and customer configurations, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Developing and maintaining platform tooling that enables customers and internal teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Edge applications efficiently.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, and other engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and operational needs are integrated into the product roadmap.
• Participating in incident response, post-incident reviews, and driving improvements to system reliability and operational processes.

You have

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-focused software engineering role.
• Industry experience and knowledge of:
• Docker, Kubernetes (including familiarity with diverse distributions such as EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, or k3s), and Helm.
• Cloud infrastructure fundamentals across one or more major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in Java and/or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tooling.
• A solid understanding of cloud-native and on-premises application deployment, networking, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
• You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Apache Spark and distributed data processing workloads.
