JOB SUMMARY 

The Revenue Account Executive will identify, cultivate, and close new funding partnerships with individuals, foundations, and corporations in support of Code.org’s mission to expand access to computer science education. This role will focus on driving new donor acquisition and converting high-potential prospects into long-term supporters. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with a background in Philanthropy and Development who has proven experience finding, pitching, and building a new portfolio of sophisticated funders, and a passion for Computer Science, AI and educational equity. This position is critical to growing Code.org’s revenue base and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively identify and research new donor and partner prospects aligned with Code.org’s mission and priorities
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach, referrals, and prospecting strategies
• Conduct discovery meetings and pitch conversations to understand prospect goals and align them with funding opportunities
• Collaborate with internal collaborators to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and donor materials
• Drive the full sales cycle from first touch through close, with a focus on multi-year, six-figure commitments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, tracking all prospect interactions and pipeline stages
• Coordinate with development operations to ensure smooth gift processing, reporting, and stewardship
• Collaborate with Marketing, Programs, and Product teams to tailor donor messaging and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
• Represent Code.org at conferences, donor meetings, and industry events as needed
• Meet and exceed individual fundraising goals as agreed upon with the Head of Development
• Contribute to team-wide initiatives to diversify Code.org’s donor base and test new fundraising strategies
• Help establish scalable, repeatable outreach and pitch practices for future team growth

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

We seek candidates who have:

• 2–3 years of frontline nonprofit fundraising experience, including direct engagement with individual donors and cultivation of net-new donor relationships
• Demonstrated success managing a donor portfolio with individual gifts ranging from $25K–$100K
• Experience owning and delivering against annual fundraising goals of $1M+, with clear accountability for results
• Proven ability to manage the full fundraising cycle from prospect identification and cultivation through solicitation, stewardship, and close
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a consultative, donor-first approach
• Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, passionate environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Demonstrated passion for education, equity, or technology
• Familiarity with philanthropic, corporate social responsibility, or nonprofit funding landscapes
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM to track progress and manage a pipeline
• Demonstrated ability to operate with significant independence and sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
• A bias for action - comfortable starting, iterating, and learning rather than waiting for perfect information
• Intellectual curiosity about emerging trends in education, technology, and AI, with a track record of proactively staying ahead rather than waiting for direction
• Comfort with risk-taking and a healthy relationship with failure as part of the learning process

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Most offers are on the lower end of the salary range and are at the company’s sole discretion based on the final candidate’s experience. This allows us to provide a fair and equitable approach to compensation when setting pay and maintaining internal pay equity. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive bonuses.

JOB SUMMARY 

As a Curriculum Growth Manager, you are responsible for driving district and state-level adoption of Code.org’s curriculum across your assigned territory. You will build and manage a regional pipeline of district opportunities, engage superintendents and other district or state administrators, and secure formal commitments to implement Code.org’s curriculum.

You will leverage policy developments, tentpole campaigns, budget cycles, and champion networks to accelerate adoption — then ensure a smooth handoff to the Implementation & Success team for rollout. Success in this role means growing the number of districts and schools actively implementing Code.org's curriculum within your territory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned to annual adoption goals
• Build and manage a pipeline of district opportunities from outreach through formal commitment
• Identify and prioritize high-potential districts based on signals such as curriculum review cycles, policy developments, and funding availability
• Lead consultative conversations with Directors of Curriculum, CTOs, curriculum leaders, and other senior district stakeholders
• Navigate district decision-making processes, including curriculum reviews and procurement cycles
• Identify and cultivate internal district champions such as principals, teacher leaders, and technology leaders
• Facilitate peer connections between prospective districts and successful adopters
• Position Computer Science and AI education as a strategic priority aligned to workforce readiness and future-focused learning
• Convert engagement moments such as Hour of AI or CS Education Week into deeper district adoption conversations
• Expand adoption within existing districts, moving systems from partial implementation to broader K–12 pathways
• Re-engage districts that previously used Code.org curriculum but are no longer active
• Monitor district participation and usage signals to identify expansion opportunities
• Maintain accurate CRM data and clear next steps across active opportunities
• Represent Code.org at regional conferences, district convenings, and leadership events

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

As our ideal candidate, you bring a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals in a SaaS, EdTech, or enterprise sales environment and are motivated by expanding access to computer science and AI education.

You are comfortable owning a territory, building a pipeline, and engaging executive decision-makers in complex organizations.

We seek candidates who have:

• 3-5 years of experience selling Education Technology products to administrators, working with school districts or other complex institutional buyers, and managing a defined pipeline and driving toward measurable targets
• Demonstrated success in generating and converting multi-stakeholder opportunities
• Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations
• Ability to analyze data and use it to guide outreach and strategy
• High level of initiative, accountability, and follow-through
• Experience navigating K–12 curriculum adoption or procurement processes
• Ability to identify and cultivate internal champions across district stakeholder levels
• Familiarity with CS education, digital equity, or workforce readiness as a value proposition (or demonstrated ability to quickly develop subject matter fluency)
• Experience representing an organization at conferences or regional convenings
• Comfort operating in long, non-linear sales cycles with mission-driven organizations
• Demonstrated ability to operate with significant independence and sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
• A bias for action - comfortable starting, iterating, and learning rather than waiting for perfect information
