We're looking for an Account Executive. At Clara, our mission is to empower organizations to operate with agility and transparency. As a key driver of our growth in the Brazilian market, you will accelerate Clara’s expansion within the SaaS Expense Management and Fintech space.
In this role, you will lead the outbound effort to modernize how Brazilian companies handle corporate spending. You will identify and convert high-potential prospects that currently rely on legacy banking or fragmented expense tools. This is a hunter position: you will own the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract signing, navigating the specific complexities of the Brazilian financial ecosystem to deliver Clara’s integrated solution.
You will:
Drive the outbound sales motion for Clara’s accounts payable module and related financial workflow solutions.
Lead the go-to-market strategy in the tech industry.
Identify and engage companies using legacy financial processes, positioning Clara as the integrated alternative to traditional banks and manual expense tools.
Generate a high volume of qualified leads through proactive prospecting and strategic outreach via Amplemarket.
Manage a robust pipeline of mid-market and enterprise clients, focusing on long-term scalability.
Influence Finance Directors, CFOs, and Controllers by demonstrating a deep understanding of financial workflows, reconciliation, and ERP integration.
Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and deal-volume KPIs.
Maintain meticulous records of all sales activity and client interactions using Hubspot.
Use Google Drive and Slack to collaborate internally and ensure seamless handoffs to the implementation team.
Act as a brand ambassador, clearly communicating Clara’s differentiation within the Brazilian fintech and expense management landscape.
“We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.”
Must haves:
Deep expertise in accounts payable workflows, with proven experience selling, implementing, or negotiating solutions related to payments, ERP integrations, financial automation, approval flows, reconciliation, and cash management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound sales, specifically within the Fintech, Expense Management, or Corporate Banking sectors.
Deep practical knowledge of the Brazilian financial market, including corporate credit, payment processing, or ERP-adjacent SaaS.
Strong "hunter" profile with a track record of managing high-activity outbound cycles and complex negotiations.
Proven experience selling to financial personas (CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers) and understanding their specific pain points.
Working proficiency in Portuguese and intermediate proficiency in English (capable of reading documentation and participating in internal syncs).
Experience or interest in AI tools to automate prospecting and increase outreach efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Adaptability to fast-changing environments.
Nice to haves:
Previous experience in high-growth companies within the financial services or benefits landscape.
Established network of finance leaders and decision-makers in the Brazilian market.
Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Metabase.

Building, leading, and developing Clara’s in-house legal team—hiring exceptional talent and fostering a culture of urgency, ownership, and commercial judgment.
Redesigning how legal services are delivered with a focus on speed and leverage, leading the adoption of AI tools for contract review, research, and workflow automation.

Proven ability to navigate regulatory complexity and organizational ambiguity with high ownership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, acting as a true peer to executive leadership.
Nice to haves:
Trilingual proficiency (English, Spanish, and Portuguese).

Clara is backed by some of the most successful investors in the world, including top regional VCs like monashees, Kaszek, and Canary, and leading global funds like Notable Capital, Coatue, DST Global Partners, ICONIQ Growth, General Catalyst, Citi Ventures, SV Angel, Citius, Endeavor Catalyst, and Goldman Sachs - in addition to dozens of angel investors and local family offices.
We’re building the financial infrastructure that powers high-performing organizations across the region. We invite you to join us if you want to be part of a fast-paced environment that will accelerate your career and support you to do some of the best work of your life alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas.
We're looking for a Global Head of Legal & Regulatory to join our executive team and own the legal strategy, regulatory relationships, and team building across all markets where Clara operates. This is Clara's most senior legal position, reporting directly to the CEO. You are not just a legal technician; you are a business leader who happens to be a lawyer—one who makes decisions grounded in data and embraces technology as a force multiplier.
You will contribute to Clara’s mission by:
Defining Clara’s global legal strategy and owning its execution across all markets, anticipating risks before they arise and developing proactive mitigation strategies.
Representing Clara in relationships with financial regulators (such as BACEN, CVM, and CNBV), governmental bodies, and relevant industry forums across LatAm.
Building and enforcing a compliance framework that scales across multiple jurisdictions, using data to monitor posture in real-time.
Using data to measure the legal team's performance, identifying bottlenecks, and continuously improving function operations.
Working closely with Product, Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure legal is a strategic asset, not a bottleneck.
“We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.”
Must haves:
12+ years of legal experience, with significant time spent in financial services or fintech.
Deep expertise in financial regulation across LatAm, with particular fluency in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
Experience leading a legal function at a high-growth company, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Working proficiency in English and Portuguese.
Experience or a strong interest in AI tools to automate legal workflows and increase efficiency.
A data-driven mindset: you measure what matters and use data to drive legal and business decisions.
Proven ability to navigate regulatory complexity and organizational ambiguity with high ownership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, acting as a true peer to executive leadership.
Nice to haves:
Trilingual proficiency (English, Portuguese, and Spanish) or a strong desire to learn Spanish.
Independent analytical skills using SQL or spreadsheets to measure team performance metrics.
Experience managing external counsel and legal spend via structured reporting or platforms like Hubspot or specialized legal ops tools.
A good sense of humor.
At Clara, you’ll have the autonomy, speed, and support to make meaningful impact — not just on your team, but on how organizations are run across Latin America.
