 About Your Role 

• You will operate the systematized investment logic we use to create ideal portfolios for our clients.  
• You will oversee a set of processes that ingests updated market data along with our view from our research department, applies portfolio construction logic, risk controls, and client specific constraints to determine those ideal portfolios. 
• You will oversee our logic for choosing which instruments we want to hold and then deliver the set of trades necessary to implement our portfolios to our trading department. 
• You will regularly communicate your understanding and assessment to a diverse group of people, including senior investment managers, traders, and developers.  
• You will partner with technologists and researchers to constantly improve our processes, focusing on increasing efficiency or the implementation of new logic or portfolios.

• Executing and overseeing the systematized logic we use to generate client portfolios and trades every day 
• Understanding and effectively communicating the state of those portfolios to our senior investment teams and CIOs

Compensation Band: 

• The wage range for this role is 183,700 SGD - 288,600 SGD base salary with an additional discretionary target bonus.

About the Implementation Department 

The Investment Implementation department is a community of diverse investment professionals whose mission is to implement our investment strategies and client portfolios excellently. Our department is responsible for ensuring the excellent implementation of our systematic investment approach, from raw data to executed trades, with processes and logic that reflect the full richness of our investment insight, executed with a near-zero error rate, and engineered and orchestrated in a way that facilitates oversight and compounding. This is an investment department, owning the investment outcomes, and the mandate includes both the ‘run’ responsibility and the ‘transform’ responsibility, meaning daily operations as well as overtime renovation of our systems.

About the Team 

The Investment Data Implementation team, part of the Investment Implementation Department, is responsible for owning, deeply understanding, and delivering data that fuel Bridgewater’s investment systems. 

The team is responsible for two critical business functions.  As part of the research process, the data implementation team must deeply understand the needs of our investors and then discover, onboard, and assess data sources against those needs. The team is also responsible for owning Bridgewater’s data and signals generation system, ensuring that the investment intent is achieved through daily data releases and market action. 

About Your Role 

The Senior Manager role is responsible for delivering the investment needs of our CIOs and asset class leads.   It is an action-oriented responsibility, where the day-to-day work directly drives Bridgewater’s investment signal generation.    

You will work closely with the Head of Investment Data and Signals Implementation, the Department Head, and our investment leadership to deliver Bridgewater’s investment operations.  

You’ll independently lead the team, demonstrating strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through. You will deliver the capabilities that facilitate the continued expansion of investment data that is needed to support investor alpha generation and the performance of Bridgewater’s investment products.

• Manage the Investment data implementation team to quality, cost, and risk outcomes for Bridgewaters’s investment systems

• Scale Bridgewater’s data capability to meet the evolving financial data industry needs (both external and internal) through improving core business process quality and efficiency  

• Lead with independence and sound judgment, resolving problems quickly and effectively while escalating when needed. 

• Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth by bringing a consulting mindset and analytical rigor. 

We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications: 

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data management, data operations, or data platform environments. 

• 5+ years operational management experience, preferably data and/or investment operations 

• Managed a team size of a minimum 5 - 10 FTEs, including track record of developing talent 

• Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in core data workflows (Data ingestion, Data Validation, Process Orchestration, Derived Data Transformation, Derived Data Validation, Data Exposure)  

• Proven track record of delivering data for senior business customers (e.g., business line heads, COO, CEO).  Experience should span proven delivery / implementation as well as evolution 

• Prior management of full budget inclusive of data licensing, organization, and technology related costs 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

About Your Role 

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Data Strategy and Acquisition function within our Investment Implementation group. Operating at the front edge of our Investment Data practice, you will assist, learn, and contribute to the evolution of our Relationship Management, Supplier Knowledge Management, Contract Management, and Service Management administration disciplines. You will engage with investors, associates, engineers, and external vendors and providers to drive strong outside-in and inside-out knowledge, quality management, and business process alignment. 

You will be a central part of our Research and Data Strategy function and immersed in the middle of our flows, investment questions, supplier challenges, matching ideation, internal marketing/advocacy, and service strategy. You will regularly communicate your understanding and assessments to a diverse group of stakeholders, including investment professionals, vendors and service providers, and Management, Compliance, Legal, and Finance. You will partner across the firm and with vendors, collaborating with hundreds of individuals over the course of a year. 

You will drive the following responsibilities: 

• Activating, advocating, executing, and assisting in the systems, sourcing, supply chains, and internal demand we use to provide and maintain inbound fuel and internal investment asks of the practice.  
• Dynamically understanding the world of offerings, known and unknown to Bridgewater, creating potential matches, indications of interest, and bringing structure from the external world into Bridgewater.  
• Understanding and effectively communicating the state of specific pieces and slices of the sourcing portfolio, including market making and matching, as well as knowledge bases of passes, no bids, and deferred opportunities.  
• Assisting in the building, maintenance, and rapid sorting of inbound and run-state assets within the sourcing portfolio.  
• Creating and assisting in initiatives to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the systems you own or are part of.

About the Role 

The Program Manager will partner with the Department Head of Investment Implementation, Director of Investment System Programs, and Head of Data and Signals to shape and operationalize multi-year initiatives, identify and engage key stakeholders, and build clear paths of influence. The person in this role will collaborate with subject matter experts who require development in strategy and execution, as well as play a key role in translating the strategy into action. This includes guiding department level priorities, partnering with Senior Investors to manage teams, delivering critical programs, metrics, engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, and directly managing one or more strategic initiatives or projects. This role offers high visibility with senior leadership and is expected to influence departmental direction and companywide priorities.

You will drive the following responsibilities:

• Partner with the Director of Investment System Programs and Senior Department Leaders to design the structure, cadence, and operating model for multi-year strategic plans and roadmaps. The scope of this work will begin with a focus on Data Strategy and evolve over time and extend beyond any single functional area.   
• Lead the annual planning synthesis for the Data and Signals pillar, working across stakeholders to translate strategy into clear priorities, timelines, and accountability.   
• Partner with Senior Investors to lead team oversight and management, driving team governance, operating model development, organizational design, and long-term strategic planning. 
• Facilitate regular engagement with department leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely updates across project portfolios.   
• Develop and refine processes, tools and metrics to drive effective program and project management across the department.  
• Establish and enforce accountability frameworks, including clear metrics, ownership, and mechanisms for diagnosing and resolving challenges.   
• Proactively manage execution risks, identifying and addressing roadblocks, and adjusting direction based on new data and evolving priorities.   
• Drive cross-functional execution, providing structure, coordination, and project leadership in close partnership with the Department Head and senior team.   
• Operate with independence and sound judgment, resolving problems quickly and effectively while escalating when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management, preferably with financial services or strategy consulting.  
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution. 
• Proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes and long-term impact across complex programs – experience should span both strategic thinking and proven delivery / implementation of ideas.  
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex ideas clearly and effectively both in writing and in high-stakes meetings with senior leadership.

 About Your Role 

• You will operate the systematized investment logic we use to create ideal portfolios for our clients.  
• You will oversee a set of processes that ingests updated market data along with our view from our research department, applies portfolio construction logic, risk controls, and client specific constraints to determine those ideal portfolios. 
• You will oversee our logic for choosing which instruments we want to hold and then deliver the set of trades necessary to implement our portfolios to our trading department. 
• You will regularly communicate your understanding and assessment to a diverse group of people, including senior investment managers, traders, and developers.  
• You will partner with technologists and researchers to constantly improve our processes, focusing on increasing efficiency or the implementation of new logic or portfolios. 

You will drive the following responsibilities: 

• Executing and overseeing the systematized logic we use to generate client portfolios and trades every day 
• Understanding and effectively communicating the state of those portfolios to our senior investment teams and CIOs 
• Working with technologists and researchers to construct new investment implementation systems or overhaul old ones

About the Implementation Department  

The Investment Implementation department is a community of diverse investment professionals whose mission is to implement our investment strategies and client portfolios excellently. Our Department is responsible for ensuring the excellent implementation of our systematic investment approach, from raw data to executed trades, with processes and logic that reflect the full richness of our investment insight, executed with a near-zero error rate, and engineered and orchestrated in a way that facilitates oversight and compounding of knowledge. Portfolio Engineers must think like builders and portfolio managers. You’ll collaborate closely with investment teams and technologists - bridging the gap to engineer solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Architect portfolio systems that translate investment strategy into executable trades, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient.
