WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

• We are looking for a strong people manager, with deep Compliance experience, technical expertise, and information security knowledge to plan, execute and deliver on existing and new Compliance certifications.  As our Sr. Compliance manager, you will play a key role in building scalable and efficient processes related to corrective actions, product compliance, and the overall compliance framework.

• You will work with all functions of this fast-paced, rapidly changing business, and directly with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, communication and education with Box's internal and external customers.  The right person will be excellent at communicating vertically and horizontally across the company and will be comfortable explaining Box's compliance posture to both internal and external customers, working cross-functionally and providing technical and creative guidance to technical teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Lead team responsible for successfully delivering Compliance programs such as PCI, ISO 27000 series, SOC, etc.

• Monitor and identify compliance issues and follow-up

• Provide compliance guidance on new product features, deviations, and changes in the infrastructure

• Support and drive regulatory and customer audits

• Drive improvements in existing processes and develop new, innovative, and efficient solutions

• Communicate gaps to management and coordinate cross-functional team meetings to remediate and close control gaps

• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Accurately and effectively communicate our compliance position and programs to auditors, customers and internal stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE

• BS degree in Business or Management Information Systems or related field OR equivalent work experience

• 6+ years experience in an equivalent technology risk and compliance related role

• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, with passion for developing and nurturing talent

• QSA, CISA, CIA, CISSP or other related certifications a plus

• Experience working with and implementing GRC tools and processes

• Familiar with cloud computing (GCP and AWS a plus) and the acronyms that come with it - SaaS, IaaS and PaaS

• Extensive knowledge of 2 or more of the following compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53)

• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Big 4 experience or Management Consulting experience preferred

• Willingness to wear different hats and work on areas where needed

• Amazing organizational skills with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to hustle, get stuff done, and has strong integrity - make mom proud!

Why Box needs you:

As with many fast-moving SaaS companies, Box relies heavily on other companies to be efficient and scale. We are looking for a Risk Manager to review the security and compliance posture of third-party vendors and work with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate against risk. As a key member of Box’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team, you will also help increase AI adoption, design new processes, and lead initiatives to grow the team’s business impact.

What you'll do:

• Deliver third-party risk assessments of Box's suppliers: assess controls, processes, and/or systems to identify risk, develop plans to mitigate against risks, and oversee the remediation plan to completion.
• Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders to understand the business objectives and gather info needed for security and compliance reviews, validations, and audits.
• Manage and administer tools for performing supplier security and compliance reviews and risk mitigation. This includes data analytics and reporting on Third Party Risk
• Drive initiatives for strategic transformation and operational improvement
• Play a role in developing and fostering the Box culture in our growing office
• Represent Box Poland internally and externally

Who you are:

• 4+ years of work experience in Information Security; Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC); or Audit. Experience in Third Party Risk Management is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Knowledge of and interest in third party information security challenges and trends, including emerging threats; and general understanding of security and compliance certifications and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO27001, NIST and PCI.
• Experience solving complex, systemic issues that require creative thinking and solutions
• Able to "wear multiple hats" at the same time and pivot quickly based on changes in the business.
• Must speak English proficiently 
• Effective at written and oral communication. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. You can easily translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
• Passionate for collaboration, metrics, process improvement, figuring stuff out, and making things better.

• We are looking for an experienced and driven Sr. Compliance Manager who is looking to put their auditing experience, technical expertise, and information security knowledge to plan, execute and deliver on existing and strategic new Compliance certifications in Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA). 

• As our Sr. Compliance Manager, you are a certification expert with extensive experience providing audits for security certifications in EMEA. The Sr. Compliance Manager is responsible for building out Box’s certification portfolio within the EMEA region.

• You will work closely with US certifications team, engineering and product teams to ensure we achieve and maintain our certifications. You will work with all functions of this fast-paced, rapidly changing business, and directly with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, communication and education with Box's internal and external customers.
