Become a Senior People Operations Specialist for Bloomreach!
In the People Operations team, we take care of Bloomreachers from the moment they accept the job offer. Together with the other People team units (Talent Acquisition, Workplace Experience, Total Rewards, and Business Partners) we form the People team reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.
In People Operations, we are responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, employment changes (contracts/amendments), and payroll operations. We operate across 10+ countries on 3 continents, and we're continuously raising the bar on automation, accuracy, and employee experience. You'll join our People Operations Team, you can be based in Prague, Brno or Bratislava (1 day in office a week is preferred).
You will take ownership of end-to-end People/HR Operations primarily in the Czech Republic (~80 Bloomreachers) and other countries (up to another 200+ Bloomreachers) alongside with the chance to rebuild the way we operate internally in the People Operations Team. People Ops agenda for CZ will take you approx 50% of your full-time capacity. For the rest, you will be working closely with teammates and regional stakeholders to redesign the People Operations function with focus on automation, AI and/or taking on other countries.
This is a role for someone who can own their space independently. We are looking for a person based in Prague, Brno, Bratislava or nearby these places. You are expected once a week to be in one of our offices.
Your Job Will Be To:
- Own end-to-end HR/People ops (contracts, amendments, promotions, leaves, relocations, absences, onboarding/offboarding, payroll inputs) for CZ as main market plus additional countries, with full legal compliance.
- Drive smooth onboarding and offboarding for employees and ensure all lifecycle changes are processed accurately and on time
- Be the first point of contact for employees and managers in your region, answering questions and resolving HR queries in automated ways with speed and care.
- Maintain and improve BambooHR as the source of truth for employee data - keeping records clean, processes documented, and configurations up to date. Create automations to identify missing data.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Legal, Workplace Experience, and other People team sub-teams as part of our tightly integrated operating model.
- Contribute to automation and AI-driven improvements in People Operations Team. We want you to look for automation opportunities from the very beginning.
- Take strong ownership from day one - quickly map processes, tools, and stakeholders, then fully “own your region” and propose better ways of working.
- Balance daily operations with project work, contributing to cross-regional standardization, documentation, and People Team initiatives.
Your Success Story Will Be:
- In 30 days, you'll take over the core operational rhythms in your region - mapping out the processes, communication style, tools, and key stakeholders, running your first live payrolls
- In 60 days, you'll own and run your regional operations independently, becoming “business as usual”.
- In 90 days, you will suggest improvements in internal ways of working - working with colleagues to automate deterministic processes.
What You Bring:
- Bring 2–3+ years hand-os in People Ops / HR (onboarding, offboarding, changes, payroll coordination)
- Experience with People Ops for CZ is a must, experience with multi-country setup is welcome (e.g. DE), but we are fine if you are eager to learn new countries
- Very good daily English communication, good understanding of stakeholder management.
- Detail-obsessed, organized, proactive profile - very high bar for accuracy, comfort with change, and ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping anything
- Work mostly remote from Prague, Brno, or Bratislava, with about one day per week in the office and a culture of high freedom, trust, and ownership.
