The Role

We're looking for an Associate to help build the Onboarding & Integration business at Beacon, owning how we successfully integrate newly acquired businesses into the portfolio at scale. This role sits at the center of everything that happens before and after a new partnership closes; managing the onboarding process that serves our HQ teams, building trust with our new founders, and developing the scalable systems that make integration better with each repetition as our business evolves.

This role is positioned at the intersection of our Engineering, Product, Investment, Finance and Operations teams, interfacing daily with founders and Beacon’s functional leaders. You will be the right hand person building a mission critical function at a fast growing business, working directly alongside the Director of Integration with real input into how this business operates. You will become an expert on how software businesses are bought, sold and scaled across dozens of verticals, with a front-row seat to every Beacon deal from pre-close through integration and successful operation.

What You’ll Own

Integration Execution: Project tracking across various functional workstreams for multiple newly acquired businesses during onboarding and integration. Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming CEOs, managing the relationship from pre-close through integration and building the trust that makes a permanent partnership work.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Embody the connective tissue between Investment, Engineering, Product, Finance and Operations, managing the CEO relationship, resolving blockers, sharing context, and holding stakeholders accountable to integration timelines. Support deal teams in presenting Beacon’s integration approach to prospective acquisitions prior to close. Represent the integration function in cross-functional forums and escalate strategic priorities.

Function Building: Build and improve automation tools and AI-enabled workflows that make the integration process faster, more consistent, and more scalable across a growing portfolio. Develop and deploy integration playbooks, templates, and systems that reduce reliance on any single person. Identify patterns across integrations and translate them into structural improvements that raise the floor for every new acquisition.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, M&A integration, management consulting, and/or business operations
• Demonstrated ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently from start to finish
• Familiarity with the M&A process and genuine curiosity about how businesses are bought, integrated, and scaled
• Strong founder empathy and ability to communicate effectively with both executives and junior team members
• Comfortable with AI tools and automation platforms
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments
• Can articulate why software isn’t dead

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement across Beacon's portfolio of vertical software companies. This is a highly strategic role that requires experience in product marketing, a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, and a proven ability to drive revenue through compelling positioning, messaging, and execution.

As a key member of the Marketing team, you will own the development and execution of marketing strategies that resonate with target customers across diverse verticals—from youth sports organizations to recreation facilities to professional services firms. You'll partner closely with portfolio company leadership, sales teams, and Beacon's central product organization to drive adoption, market expansion, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Positioning & Messaging: Define core messaging frameworks and positioning for portfolio company products, ensuring differentiation in competitive markets
• Go-To-Market Leadership: Own and drive GTM strategies for product launches and feature releases, ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing teams
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Lead deep market research and customer insights initiatives to understand key trends, competitive threats, and opportunities across our verticals
• Sales & Customer Enablement: Develop sales enablement strategies, including training materials, pitch decks, battle cards, and content that empowers sales teams to win
• Thought Leadership & Content Strategy: Establish portfolio companies as category leaders through compelling thought leadership, content marketing, and demand-generation programs
• Lifecycle Marketing: Support adoption across the customer lifecycle through email-based onboarding programs, customer enablement programs, and product education
• Pricing and Packaging: Support pricing strategy, identify opportunities for organic growth with improved packaging, and help sales teams understand competitive positioning
• Customer & Community Engagement: Work closely with customers to gather insights, develop case studies, and enhance customer marketing efforts
• Performance Metrics & Optimization: Define key success metrics, analyze performance data, and refine marketing strategies based on insights

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with exposure to multiple industries or product lines
• Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business impact
• Strong understanding of vertical market software, SMB/mid-market sales cycles, and customer success motions
• Experience working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to drive revenue and adoption
• Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives for sales, customer, and executive audiences
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data to inform strategy and measure impact
• Comfortable working across multiple products and brands simultaneously
