Full Time Hospice RN

Monday - Friday 8a-5p

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in Salisbury, NC. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in the following counties: Rowan, Iredell, Davie, Davidson, Cabarrus, and Stanly.

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Responsibilities for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include:

Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
Performing client assessments as necessary.
Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

Qualifications for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include:

A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

BAYADA Hospice is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner, (NP) to join our team. This is a Per Diem position. The position is for the Salisbury, NC office that covers these following counties: Iredell, Davie, Davidson, Rowan, Cabarrus, and Stanly

Prior home care, hospice, or palliative care experience strongly preferred, but not required. BAYADA Hospice is looking for Volunteers in ROWAN COUNTY!

BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking candidates for our Volunteer, Hospice position to be a part of our team in our Rowan County Office, located in Salisbury, NC. This office services clients in territories throughout Cabarrus, Davidson, Davie, Iredell, Rowan, Stanly, Forsyth, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, and Yadkin Counties.

At BAYADA Hospice, we believe that our clients and their families deserve care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Your important work will help ensure that our clients come first and that our BAYADA caregivers have the support they need to be successful. The Volunteer, Hospice Services is a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) who provides assistance to clients, families, and caregivers with home management, emotional support, and other supportive tasks related to terminal illness and end of life.

Volunteers Needed For:

Assistance with home management tasks.
Providing companionship and friendship to clients.
Providing caregiver relief.
Specialty areas: Music Therapy, Reiki, Massage, Pet Therapy, Craft Volunteer, End of Life Doula
Sharing special talents, such as music or art.
Providing assistance as a transport escort, as needed.
Assisting with clerical work and other office tasks.
Memorial Service Planning.
Bereavement support to loved ones.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
Have a criminal background check completed, as per state requirements.
Meet all state requirements for volunteers, where applicable.
Meet the BAYADA requirements and state regulations for the discipline, if providing professional services.
