Senior Sourcing Manager, Toys
New York, NY/Remote (FT)
ABOUT BARK
Here at BARK, we love dogs and their people. We’re looking to make all dogs happy throughout the entire world (we’re not kidding). Think Disney for dogs -- we make magic for dogs and their people through our products, events, and experiences.
Our ambition level is high, the opportunity is huge, and our love for dogs is through the roof! We launched in 2011 with BarkBox, a monthly-themed subscription of all-natural treats and clever toys. Since then, we've shipped more than 70 million toys and treats to the dogs across the world and use all of that direct customer feedback to inform new initiatives and ways to make magic between dogs and their people. We’ve since expanded into other offerings as well, as we aim to become THE Dog Company for every family with a four-legged, belly-scratch-loving, interspecies family member.
THE TEAM
The Sourcing team helps to take our unique designs and transform them into products to sell to our customers with the help of our third-party manufacturing partners. Internally, we partner closely with the Design and Supply Chain teams in order to give dogs and their people the best experience possible. If you couldn't tell already, we're dog and customer- obsessed - we pay close attention to cost and quality, are highly flexible and entrepreneurial, and collaborative to a fault.
WHO WE’RE SNIFFING FOR
We are looking for a customer (dog) obsessed, analytical and entrepreneurial Senior Sourcing Manager to oversee and help develop our toy sourcing strategy. The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing best in class dog toys for all BARK business lines and channels. This person should thrive in a cross-functional environment and will work daily with Design, Merchandising, Sales, Quality, Project Management, Planning, and Purchasing. An ideal candidate is data obsessed and is not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo.

ABOUT BARK
At BARK, we are obsessed with making dogs happy and the humans who love them. Since launching in 2011 with BarkBox, we have created millions of moments of joy through toys, treats, and unforgettable experiences. Our mission is simple: to make magic between dogs and their people, wherever they go.
We are now expanding our "dogs-first" philosophy into luxury hospitality. BARK hospitality experiences bring the same exceptional care, joy, and playfulness that define our brand into a hotel environment where dogs and their people can relax, connect, and be celebrated.
Service Philosophy
We believe in warmth, authenticity, and genuine connection, not scripts or robotic interactions. Every touchpoint is an opportunity to curate a dog-centric experience that will lead to ensuring each pup and dog parent feels seen, cared for, and truly welcome.
Our approach is built around three core values:
Authenticity
Be genuine, compassionate, and dog-obsessed. Guests should feel your love for dogs and people in every interaction.
Personalization
Take notice and learn from every visit. We use detailed guest notes to tailor each stay, from a pup’s play style, favorite toy, social preferences, walking cadence and preferred treats, to a returning dog's preferred spots to sniff.
Memorable Experiences
Go beyond the expected. Surprise and delight guests with thoughtful gestures: from a personalized dog portrait and custom welcome amenity to mark a special milestone, to supporting Dog-Inclusive Tea Service and Dog-First Excursions. We are looking for fellow dog lovers with a heart for hospitality who create joy naturally, without being asked.
The Role
The onsite BARK Happy Concierge is the heart of the dog guest experience at our hotel partner properties. This team member curates one-of-a-kind experiences for dogs and their humans, ensuring every moment feels personal, effortless, and full of care. The role blends hospitality expertise, dog behavior knowledge, and a genuine love for service.

✈️ Locations & Schedule:
Salary: $20 - $30 / hour dependent on location
BARK Air is the world’s first airline designed exclusively for dogs (and their humans, too). We’re not just dog-friendly—we’re dog-first, crafting an experience that makes flying stress-free, comfortable, and even fun for pups. Our flights are whimsical BARK experiences, with belly rubs, in-flight treats, and a cabin full of new furry friends.
That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for a Ground Support team member to be the ultimate welcome crew for our dogs and their humans in the FBO lounge. You’ll be part greeter, part concierge, part treat-dispenser, and full-time dog lover. If you love aviation, hospitality, and the idea of making dogs’ travel dreams come true, we’d love to have you on board.
Rolling out the (imaginary) red carpet – Be the first friendly face our VIPs (Very Important Pups) and their humans see when they arrive at the lounge. Make them feel at home, answer questions, and ensure they have everything they need.
Serving up the good stuff – Refreshments for humans? Check. Treats for pups? Double check. Keep the lounge stocked and make sure everyone (two- and four-legged) has what they need before takeoff.
Dog handler, cuddle expert, pup concierge – Some dogs are chill flyers, others need a little extra reassurance. You’ll help make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and ready for their big adventure.
Helping with the “ruff” stuff – Assist with light baggage handling, making sure pups’ essentials (beds, leashes, squeaky toys) are packed and ready to go.
Keeping things running smoother than a well-groomed poodle – Work with the Flight Concierge and FBO staff to ensure seamless check-in, boarding, and deplaning. If something unexpected happens, you’re cool under pressure and ready to jump in.
Creating an unforgettable experience – Every moment at BARK Air should be tail-waggingly delightful. You’re here to make that happen—whether it’s hyping up a nervous pup or making a human smile with a fun surprise.
🐾 You get to hang out with dogs at work. Enough said.
🍪 Free treats (for the humans, too!)
✈️ Be part of an exciting, first-of-its-kind airline experience.
🎾 Occasionally required to throw tennis balls (ok, this one is optional).
