SUMMARY:

As a member of the Avetta Client Success team, you will be both a relentless advocate for your customers and an engaging representative from our company to the customer. You will measure your impact through retention, expansion, and overall client health, but your daily focus will be as the customer’s guide for their journey with Avetta. As the primary voice for our clients, the Client Success Manager works closely with all other teams inside Avetta. They will look to your experience and creativity to help them make the best possible decisions for our customers and the company. In the same way, your clients will look to you to help them understand and execute “what’s next?” to maximize the value, they see every day with our platform and services.

This role is a hybrid position in our Lehi, Dallas, or Houston office (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). 

How you will make an impact:

• Nurture and grow relationships with your client stakeholders, while identifying additional key stakeholders through proactive engagement
• Maintain the client’s momentum after launch leveraging critical success factors aligned to the client’s journey as increase adoption Avetta platform over time
• Serving as the trusted advisor for clients on use-case, product functionality and applicable program recommendations
• Perform regular review-and-planning sessions (via Success Planning and QBR activities) with client stakeholders to demonstrate value, understand the client’s current business situation and objectives, and define next steps in their journey with Avetta
• Proactively ensuring clients understand, have adequate training on, and are utilizing Avetta’s products to achieve the maximum benefit
• Provide marketing with referenceable customers, Client Success anecdotes, data-rich trends and observations about changes in our client base and industry
• Work within the Client Success Team to create innovative strategies, services, and processes that drive increased customer adoption, retention, and expansion across all of Avetta’s offerings
• Act as the voice of Avetta clients and work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to solve problems and drive potential process and product improvements
• Assist Account Managers with client growth plans and, when necessary, at-risk mitigation
• Own the overall health of each assigned Client Account
• Assist the Client Support Team with difficult and client-specific problem resolution
• Partner with Implementation and Professional Services to support best practice implementations and identify key growth opportunities
• Maintain an attitude of constant improvement and always work to increase efficiency, scalability, and impact
• Use data to help make recommendations and decisions
• Fully document all interactions with clients (Using SFDC, Wrike, etc.)

Ideal Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years in either a customer-facing role with an Enterprise SaaS company or supplier management with a large organization
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, SFDC, CRM tools, and JIRA a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Highly organized, collaborative, responsive, and proactive
• Past success mastering new, complex technologies, processes, and concepts and training / mentoring others to master them as well
• Strong project management skills, PMP a plus

The Billing Operations & Systems Manager owns the integrity of billing by ensuring deals, processes, and systems are aligned, scalable, and executable. This role serves as the central authority for billing governance, process design, and solution development, translating complex business requirements into efficient, system-enabled workflows. Acting as a bridge between Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering, IT, Revenue, and Billing, this position drives standardization, automation, and operational control in a high-volume, complex SaaS environment. This role partners closely with system owners and the engineering teams who are responsible for the hands-on system development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the global owner and central point of control for global billing operations, defining and enforcing standards, governance frameworks, internal controls, and scalable workflows across intake, validation, approval, and execution.
• Review and approve standard and non-standard deal structures, contract terms, and complex billing scenarios to ensure operational viability and compliance.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and billing risks by monitoring performance metrics, error trends, and escalations; drive root cause resolution, standardization, and reduction of manual workarounds.
• Act as the escalation point for complex billing issues, ensuring timely resolution and preventing recurrence through process and system improvements.
• Translate complex business requirements, deal structures, and operational needs into structured, system-enabled solutions in partnership with IT, Engineering, and system owners.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and program launches, partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to align deal structures with billing capabilities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, documentation, and process standards, and provide training and guidance to ensure process clarity, consistency, and audit readiness.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, deal desk, revenue operations , or related functions in a SaaS or subscription-based environment with high transaction volume and complexity.
• Project management or process improvement certifications preferred (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated expertise in process design, re-engineering, and operational scaling.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects or programs from concept through execution including both operational and system-based initiatives.
• Experience working with billing, CRM, or ERP systems (Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.).
• Experience translating business requirements into operational processes or system solutions and delivery of measurable operational efficiencies.
• Strong decision-making capability with ability to operate in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to challenge and influence.
• Experience in Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) environments within SaaS organizations.
• Proficiency with data tools (SQL, Snowflake, BI platforms).

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $91,500 - $105,000 USD per year, with a potential bonus.
