What’s this role about?
As a Talent Operations Specialist at Auvik, you’ll play a key role in keeping our hiring process running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be at the center of our recruiting efforts, supporting candidates, working closely with hiring managers, and ensuring everything stays organized and on track.
This role is grounded in strong day-to-day execution, but goes beyond coordination. You’ll also help us improve how we work, identifying inefficiencies, exploring new tools, and finding smarter ways to operate.
In addition to supporting Talent Acquisition, you will also contribute to broader People Operations work as needed, supporting projects, programs, and the overall employee experience.
What will I be doing?
Drawing on your organization, curiosity, and interest in talent, you will:
- Support day-to-day hiring operations, owning end-to-end candidate experience, using judgement to adapt processes and shift priorities
- Build and manage candidate pipelines for priority roles, including sourcing, outreach, and initial engagement
- Take ownership of hiring for select roles over time
- Maintain accurate information in our ATS (Greenhouse) and other systems
- Review current tools, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency
- Research and experiment with AI tools to improve sourcing, coordination, and overall team productivity
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the People Operations team to support hiring and broader people processes
- Coordinate and proactively manage interview processes, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams
- Help implement better processes and systems that reduce manual work and improve the candidate and hiring team experience
- Contribute to cross-functional People initiatives beyond recruiting, including projects and employee lifecycle work
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience supporting coordination, recruiting, or operational workflows
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when managing data and processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong, proactive communication skills, with the ability to keep candidates and stakeholders informed and aligned?
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
- Experience working with tools and systems (ATS, scheduling tools, HRIS, AI)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or improve operational tasks

Hiring Process
At Auvik, our hiring process is designed to be personal, transparent, and human-led. Our Talent Acquisition Partners review all resumes, connect with candidates whose skills and experience aligns with the role, and stay in communication with you throughout your journey. If our interests align, you'll meet with a hiring manager, as well as additional members of the hiring team in follow-up conversations. All of your interviews will take place via Zoom.
Before meeting with a hiring manager, we also ask candidates to complete a 5-minute Predictive Index (PI) assessment. This helps us understand and match your strengths and work preferences with roles that will set you up for success.
We use AI tools to support administrative tasks in the hiring process; such as helping source candidates, drafting communications, and interview summaries, so our team can stay focused and present during conversations. We do not use AI tools to interview, screen or assess candidates; or determine who moves forward in the process. We debrief and consider the full context of every conversation before making hiring decisions. We believe hiring requires judgment that can be augmented but, not replaced by AI.
