• Support monthly reporting and create meaningful KPI analyses for management and business teams
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities

• Improve reporting processes, data quality and financial systems together with the FP&A team

What you’ll bring

• Experience in FP&A, Controlling, or a similar Finance role
• Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with financial and business data
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerQuery, PowerPivot or similar
• Planning tools like OneStream would be a plus

At AutoScout24, we are building a best-in-class global Finance organization—and personnel cost controlling (HR Controlling / Workforce Controlling) is at its core. As our Senior Workforce Controller, you will own and optimize global FTE planning, headcount controlling, and personnel cost forecasting, managing the largest cost line in our P&L. 

This is a newly created, high-impact Finance role where you will design and scale workforce controlling processes across multiple countries, partnering with Finance Business Partners, FP&A, and People Operations (HR). 

What you’ll do 

• Own global FTE planning, headcount forecasting, and personnel cost planning (salaries, bonuses, benefits, social charges)  
• Ensure accurate headcount tracking, hiring gap analysis, and cost allocation 
• Deliver monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and workforce insights  
• Manage bonus calculation, compensation processes, and target achievement tracking  
• Support budget planning (FP&A) and advise stakeholders on personnel cost implications  
• Standardize and improve HR controlling / personnel cost processes across countries  
• Ensure data consistency across HR systems (e.g., Workday) and Finance tools 

What you’ll bring 

• 8–12+ years of experience in Workforce Controlling, Personnel Cost Controlling, or HR Finance  
• Strong expertise in FTE planning, headcount controlling, and personnel cost accounting  
• Knowledge of international payroll, social security, and labor cost structures 
• Experience with bonus processes, financial modeling, and large datasets (Excel)  
• Background in international companies or matrix organizations  
• Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented 
• Fluency in English; German is a plus

La figura ricercata 

La risorsa selezionata sarà inserita nel Team Finance e si occuperà di: 

• Contabilità generale: prima nota, ciclo attivo e passivo, gestione banche e liquidazioni IVA 

• Gestione scadenziario e anagrafiche clienti/fornitori 

• Supporto alla reportistica mensile 

• Collaborazione alla redazione dei bilanci mensili IAS/IFRS per HQ e ITA GAAP per fini civilistici 

• Interfaccia con funzioni interne e con la casa madre internazionale
