Director of Sales Finance – U.S. Government Programs

As Astranis’s Director of Sales Finance for U.S. Government Programs, you will own the financial backbone of our federal sales efforts. Role

• Lead all financial aspects of U.S. government sales, including deal structuring, pricing models, and proposal cost volumes.
• Partner with BD, contracts, and program teams to ensure proposals are compliant with FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements.
• Own revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and bookings tracking for government sales.
• Provide leadership with insights on customer economics, deal risk, and contract terms.
• Ensure compliance with government cost principles and revenue recognition standards.
• Build scalable processes, reporting, and financial models to support growth in government programs.
• Represent Finance in customer negotiations, audits, and program reviews.
• Mentor and develop a small team as government sales finance scales.

Requirements

• 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5+ years in U.S. government sales finance or government contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
• Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and U.S. government pricing principles.
• Proven track record of supporting proposal development, contract negotiations, and government audits.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Senior Manager, Sales Finance – U.S. Government Programs

As Astranis’s Senior Manager of Sales Finance for U.S. Government Programs, you will play a critical role in building the financial foundation of our federal sales efforts. You’ll serve as a key business partner to our Government Programs, Business Development, and Contracts teams — ensuring pricing precision, compliance, and scalable forecasting as we grow our U.S. government portfolio.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who thrives at the intersection of government contracting and business strategy. You’ll lead pricing efforts, model long-term revenue streams, and drive disciplined financial execution across proposals and programs. You’ll also help build the scalable systems and processes needed to support our rapidly expanding federal business.

• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and U.S. government cost principles.
• Demonstrated success in proposal pricing, financial modeling, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment where systems and processes are being built.

Director of Operations Finance - Manufacturing

As Astranis’s Director of Operations Finance, you will lead the financial management of our operations, manufacturing, and supply chain. We are seeking to hire the best — a finance leader who can design and execute a world-class operations finance function in a fast-scaling hardware and aerospace environment.

You are an ideal candidate if you combine deep cost accounting and operations finance expertise with strategic leadership. You should be motivated to own the financial backbone of how we build satellites: manufacturing costs, supply chain spend, and capital investment. Just as importantly, you should excel at building scalable processes, leading teams, and partnering directly with operations leadership.

Role

• Lead financial management for operations, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Own forecasting the COGS section of the P&L and  capital project tracking.
• Partner with operations leaders on budgets, forecasts, and BOM cost initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations finance team.
• Support audits, compliance, and financial reporting for operations.
• Design scalable financial processes and controls for manufacturing and supply chain.
• Provide leadership with insights on cost trends, risks, and savings opportunities.
