Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement perception algorithms for object detection, terrain classification, and obstacle segmentation in off-road environments
• Fuse sensor data from LiDAR, cameras, radar, IMU, and GNSS for robust environmental understanding elevation mapping and free-space detection
• Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques for improved scene understanding in dynamic outdoor environments
• Optimize real-time perception pipelines for embedded hardware under size, weight, and power (SWaP) constraints
• Conduct field testing in challenging conditions (mud, dust, rain) to validate and improve algorithm robustness
• Integrate perception outputs with navigation and path planning systems for safe autonomous traversal of unstructured terrain
• Utilize simulation tools for development and validation of perception systems before field deployment
• Stay current with advancements in sensor technologies, AI, robotics, and industry standards to drive innovation and maintain technical leadership.

Your Profile

• MS or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, or related engineering fields
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python software development
• Solid understanding of perception algorithms terrain classification, obstacle detection, segmentation and traversability estimation in dynamic outdoor environments
• Strong experience in developing and deploying machine learning–based perception systems for robotics in real-world, unstructured environments
• Proficiency with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch and TensorRT) and perception data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL and Open3D)
• Proficiency with ROS2 and simulation tools for algorithm validation
• Proficiency with Linux systems, version control, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices in a robotics context
• Self-motivated, organized, and proactive work style

• Build and validate navigation systems in simulation ensuring reliable performance before field deployment.

• Lead development of behavior trees or state machines for high-level mission execution, including recovery behaviors and terrain-specific navigation modes.

Your Profile

• MS or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, or related engineering fields
• Strong software development skills in C++
• Experience with ROS2, navigation stacks, and real-time embedded systems

• Solid understanding of state estimation, 3D geometry, and probabilistic robotics
• Proven track record of deploying navigation systems on real-world robotic platforms

• Develop and implement advanced sensor fusion algorithms using techniques such as Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), Unscented Kalman Filters (UKF), Nonlinear Observers, and factor graph-based SLAM frameworks for robust localization in GPS-denied environments.
• Integrate and synchronize data from multiple sensor modalities, including cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMUs, GNSS, magnetometers, and barometers, to create accurate and reliable environmental representations.
• Design and optimize real-time data processing pipelines ensuring low-latency performance for autonomous systems.
• Validate and test in both simulated and real-world environments, including under degraded or denied GNSS conditions.

About the role
We are looking for a mid–senior Deployment Engineer to take robotic systems from development to production and keep them running reliably in the real world. 

This role sits at the intersection of: 

• robotics systems (ROS-based)  

• software delivery (CI/CD, containers, releases)  

• real-world deployment constraints (networks, hardware, field debugging)  

You will own how software moves from code → robot → fleet, and how issues are detected, diagnosed, and resolved. 

This is not a traditional DevOps or field role. 
We are looking for someone who can build systems, not just operate them, and who can quickly create MVPs to validate ideas. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Be actively involved in production to integrate, deploy, and scale robotic systems effectively 

• Collaborate with software and testing teams to ensure systems are deployable, testable, and reliable in production 

• Deploy, configure, and maintain robotic systems, including controllers, radios, communication networks, and associated software stacks 

• Work closely with the software team to deploy, validate, and monitor firmware, drivers, and system configurations on robots 

• Design and maintain end-to-end deployment pipelines for ROS-based systems (build, package, release, deploy) 

• Automate deployment workflows and troubleshoot robotic systems across CAN, Ethernet, and wireless networks 

• Continuously optimize deployment processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability in production environments 

• Document deployment procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting workflows for effective knowledge sharing

Your Profile 

• Strong experience with ROS 2 and robotics software systems  

• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with solid Linux fundamentals  

• Hands-on experience with containerized systems and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab) 

• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tooling  

• Good understanding of networking and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, wireless) 

• Proficiency in English.
