What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Staff Engineer for our Energy Analytics Squad to build web API and data pipeline solutions integrated within the larger Arcadia Platform data ecosystem. The Energy Analytics group builds electricity cost modeling products and mathematical battery performance simulations that calculate the ROI for DER interventions like solar and storage, providing the economic insights necessary to show that clean energy technologies are the most cost-effective options for tackling the climate crisis. Our core expertise requires defining calculations and optimizations against esoteric and often fuzzy data.

You will approach your work with a collaborative and exploratory mindset, attention to detail, and a proven ability to wrangle stakeholders across squads. Demonstrated experience executing on collaborative software engineering projects in an industry requiring deep domain knowledge. Requirements synthesis and clarity of communication is important: the ideal candidate will have demonstrated ownership of modules developed in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.

What you'll do:

• Make meaningful contributions to the industry-leading electricity cost modeling RESTful API
• Build out DBT data pipelines that simulate electricity costs nationwide
• Translate product and SME requirements into engineering-ready designs, specifications, and implementation plans
• Participate in peer technical design review sessions to ensure efficient and maintainable code
• Improve squad and organization-level engineering processes and establish best practices
• Work with fully remote teams

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
• 6+ years of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company
• Experience building REST API’s
• Experience with Python and enterprise Java (Spring, Spring Boot preferred)
• Experience building SQL data pipelines (Snowflake + DBT preferred)
• Deployed systems on AWS or similar
• Strategic AI Expertise: Demonstrated experience of adoption and implementation of LLMs 
• Demonstrated ability to impart organizational-level impact
• Experience with a Python data science ecosystem (Jupyter, Pandas, Streamlit, etc.)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo preferred)

The preferred candidate will also demonstrate:

• Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large web API systems at scale (your metrics should be measured with an M, G, or T)
• Experience working in the energy or similar industry requiring deep domain knowledge
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized platforms (Argo orchestration preferred)
• Front-end experience in React

Target Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $165,000 to $295,000. There will also be a competitive benefits component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead Arcadia’s Utility Data Platform Product organization — owning the full product strategy and roadmap for Plug (our enterprise Utility Cloud platform), UDS (Utility Data Service), and the data acquisition and processing pipelines that power both.

This is a player-coach role at the heart of Arcadia’s platform. You’ll manage a team of senior product managers, set the product direction for some of our most critical and revenue-generating products, and work hand-in-hand with engineering leadership to ship things that matter to enterprise customers. The person in this role has to be as comfortable going deep on a complex API design question as they are presenting a multi-year migration roadmap to an executive.

The products are live, the customers are real, and the stakes are high. We need someone who can take ownership quickly, stabilize what’s in flight, and raise the ceiling on what we build next.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full product strategy and roadmap for Plug, Arcadia’s enterprise SaaS platform for utility data acquisition, credential management, and bill delivery.
• You will work with our customers, the commercial team, and our executive leadership to identify and evaluate opportunities to grow the product suite and develop new features to drive customer satisfaction and revenue
• Set the overall vision for your product line and build out business cases for product investment in building out new data products through ownership of quarterly roadmap planning, squad structure design, and coordination across the pillar.
• You will balance and champion the needs of the diverse set of users who interact with the Arcadia products: businesses, software companies, independent service providers, and internal Arcadia employees.
• Manage and develop a team of Senior Product Managers across Plug, UDS, Acquisition, and Extraction.
• Partner tightly with your engineering counterpart (Director of Engineering) and India engineering leadership to maintain a healthy, prioritized roadmap and deliver against it. Elevate blockers early and ensure on time delivery of scoped features
• Represent the Data Products team to commercial, customer success, and executive stakeholders translating customer escalations into product decisions and roadmap commitments into things Customer Success can actually communicate.

What will help you succeed:

Must-Haves

• 10+ years in product management, with at least 3 years leading a team of PMs in an enterprise SaaS environment.
• Deep experience owning data platform products: API-first, pipeline-based, or data delivery products at enterprise scale. You’ve lived through the complexity of data quality, delivery reliability, and customer migrations.
• Proven ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder migration programs: you know how to sequence, communicate, and execute a product transition that affects live customers and real revenue.
• Strong technical foundation: you can read an API spec, speak fluently with engineers about data models and pipeline architecture, and make informed tradeoffs without needing things translated for you. Familiarity with modern data tooling (Snowflake, DBT, etc.) is a plus.
• Track record of building and managing high-performance PM teams in a fast-paced, onsite + offshore operating model.
• Experience working with enterprise customers directly: you’ve been in the room for difficult escalations and you know how to hold the line on product decisions while keeping the relationship intact.
• A bias for shipping. You’re not seeking perfection; you’re relentless about progress and prioritize the 95% of use cases of the 5% edge cases.
• At the forefront of AI-native product management.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in the utility, energy, or climate tech space — or adjacent industries like fintech or insurance where regulatory complexity and data reliability are table stakes.
• Experience managing product through a merger or acquisition, including roadmap integration and customer communication.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven data extraction, automation, or classification products. 
• Experience in developer platform product management — you understand what makes a great API, what enterprise customers need to build on top of a platform, and how to balance internal tooling with external-facing features.
• MBA or equivalent experience in strategy, consulting, or business operations.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a technically hands-on Application Security Engineer to join the Information Security team. This individual will own the vulnerability management lifecycle across our SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling, integrate security automation into the CI/CD pipeline, perform threat modeling of product and engineering designs, and serve as a trusted advisor to our 300+ person engineering organization. The ideal candidate is a builder who would rather automate a finding than file a ticket, and who can explain a critical vulnerability to a junior developer without making them feel two inches tall.

What you'll do:

• Own the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle: triage, prioritize, and drive remediation of findings from SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling in partnership with engineering squads.
• Maintain, optimize, and extend security tooling integrations within the CI/CD pipeline with the goal of automating everything that can be automated.
• Launch and run a Security Champions program, including workshops and office hours, to embed security knowledge directly into development teams across multiple geographies.
• Act as the application-layer subject matter expert during security incidents, supporting triage, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to introduce security touchpoints earlier in the SDLC, including threat modeling and design review processes.

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

• 3–5 years of dedicated Application Security experience in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with at least two of the following: SAST, DAST, SCA, or CSPM tooling (e.g., Snyk, Checkmarx, Semgrep, Wiz).
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and the ability to write and maintain pipeline integrations.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and API security patterns (REST, GraphQL).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical risk to non-security engineers in a way that drives action, not anxiety.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience standing up or maturing a Security Champions program.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Access Analyzer).
• Exposure to threat modeling frameworks (STRIDE, PASTA, or lightweight equivalents).
• Relevant certifications (OSCP, GWAPT, CSSLP) — valued but not required.
