Anaplan is seeking a results-driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will leverage your proven track record of selling sophisticated SaaS solutions to represent an incredibly versatile and powerful platform. We're looking for a competitor with a hunter mindset who loves to win. You will be a catalyst for our continued growth by leading digital transformation and helping industry leaders end siloed decision-making.
This role reports directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP) and manages a territory consisting of both greenfield opportunities and existing Anaplan customers. This requires a unique individual who can hunt for and secure new logos while also identifying and growing opportunities within our current customer base. You will embody our core values (Innovative, Accountable, Collaborative, Transparent, Resilient, Empathetic, Authentic, Learner) as you help customers achieve their immediate goals and prepare their business for the future.
Your Impact:
- Engaging with targeted financial services enterprise prospects to identify broken business processes and position Anaplan’s unique ability to solve the problem
- Build and communicate Anaplan’s business value throughout the selling engagement, navigating complex prospect environments to align stakeholders around the Anaplan solution.
- Conduct highly effective, consultative presentations to key C-suite level decision-makers, including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders across Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
- Develop and own opportunity management from start to finish across multiple customer targets and functions.
- Apply Anaplan’s value-based selling methodology to manage a robust sales process and accurately forecast your business.
- Employ outstanding account leadership skills to identify expansion opportunities by cross-selling and up-selling within your targeted accounts.
- Collaborate effectively with a matrixed team of Sales Development Reps, Marketing professionals, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success partners to ensure customer success.
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally 10-15 years of direct, consultative sales experience, with a consistent track record of overachieving quota in a competitive market.
- Extensive experience selling complex SaaS solutions (enterprise resource planning, supply chain management and/or human capital management) into Fortune 2000 companies.
- Proven success selling into multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) and navigating complex, multi-threaded buying centers.
- A demonstrated history of career stability
- Mastery of outcome-based sales methodologies such as Challenger selling, TAS, MEDDPICC or Miller Heiman

As a Domain Expert within Anaplan’s Integrated Business Applications team you will be trusted leader and subject matter expert at the forefront of this transformation, helping customers realize the full potential of Anaplan's Financial Planning Applications. This is a unique opportunity for a leader with deep Finance expertise, compelling experience and relationships, and exceptional collaboration skills to shape the future of our Finance solutions.
This role combines deep functional and process expertise with outstanding communication and presentation skills, consultative selling, and ecosystem enablement to drive the sales of solutions that address key customer challenges while scaling knowledge across the broader Anaplan ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Anaplan’s Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Finance Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion by:
- Creating and delivering compelling sales plays, presentations, ROI insights and customer stories, and all supporting enablement content including training materials, evaluation, and testing, to empower partners and internal teams. Drive ecosystem enablement by developing scalable knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Ensuring Finance Applications presentations and demonstrations are clearly aligned with prospect and customer requirements.
- Distilling your deep domain expertise and sales messaging into crisp, bite-sized tactics for the Sales Team.
- Performing ongoing functional and process education and enablement via formal and informal media, including market insights, use cases, top-of-mind subjects for customer discovery and discussion.
- Collaborating with the Competitive Intelligence Team to deliver competitive differentiation in Anaplan’s positioning and value proposition, updating battlecards, and providing win reports that drive useable insights and tactics.
- Serve as a process and functional expert, guiding prospects and customers on best practices for adopting Anaplan’s Finance Applications. Incorporate your knowledge of Anaplan’s portfolio of Applications to bring a complete Connected Planning vision perspective. Deliver actionable feedback from the field to the Product Team to improve our applications.
- Support the sales team in key and late-stage sales opportunities in selling Finance Applications.
- Partner with prospects, customers and/or partners to conduct discovery workshops, solution mapping, identifying strategic needs and aligning them to Anaplan’s new and existing Finance Applications.
- Act as a thought leader for prospects, customers and partners including representing Anaplan at key internal and external events. Participate in corporate marketing activities, including Market Analyst engagement, and complement by delivering your own functional and expert content via website blogs, webcasts, presentations and whitepapers, and social media.
Key Metrics
- Adoption and successful completion of enablement by Anaplan Teams.
- Number of presentations, demonstrations, and other supporting activities of Finance Applications.
- Value of sales that include Finance Applications.
- Evaluation and feedback from Sales, Solution Consulting and GTM Enablement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable understanding of Anaplan’s platform and its application to solve complex business challenges.
- Deep domain knowledge of financial planning and analysis, the market of Finance performance management, planning and reporting solutions, required processes and best practices, and the key stakeholders and decision-makers – ideally including experience with Financial Close, Consolidation and Reporting.
- Understanding of product management, GTM operations and enablement.
- Proven experience in consultative selling or strategic advisory roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise software, with the ability to ask the right questions, manage objections, and guide the sales journey.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills, with a demonstrated exceptional ability in presenting compelling content, performing product demonstrations, leading workshops, and developing enablement programs.
- A results-driven mindset, able to collaborate across teams, with a focus on contributing deliverables of the highest possible quality and impact.

Your Impact
Anaplan, a software company in the Thoma Bravo portfolio, is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join our organization.
You will join a small team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren’t afraid to push boundaries and try new insights, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed.
This role will be based in New York City. It will report to a Director of Corporate Strategy and work closely with the SVP Strategy & Transformation, CEO, and top executives of the company to develop and drive company, product, functional, and regional strategy. You'll impact decisions across the core functions of the company and pull insights from analysis for key leaders and our board of directors. You will have the opportunity to lead strategy projects and drive operationalization of recommendations to enact real impact.
- Lead and support strategy development and implementation
- Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis for growth strategies and operational improvements
- Provide actionable strategy recommendations based on your analysis
- Serve as an active thought partner for all areas of the business, incl. GTM, product and engineering
- Present and discuss findings with senior management and board members (C-suite, Thoma Bravo) in close collaboration with operating leaders
- Support the strategic evaluation of M&A opportunities
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytic discipline
- Minimum two years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Previous experience serving clients in SaaS or private equity a plus
- Demonstrated ability to drive both quantitative and qualitative workstreams independently, incl. ability to workplan
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in oral and written forms to senior management and influence management decisions

Anaplan is looking for a Senior RSI Alliances Director. This role will be responsible for driving the success of a portfolio of SI partnerships and alliances in North America; collaborating with all internal and external partners to deliver sourced and co-sold partner revenue through the development of differentiated go-to-market motions, plays, while ensuring partner delivery readiness and capability development. The goal of this opportunity is to drive strategic growth and partner collaboration across all of Anaplan’s functional domains (finance, supply chain, sales performance management and Human Resources) and implement programs to support the growth, drive GTM execution, and elevate customer value.
Key Activities Include:
- Drive the development of the multi-year partner business plan, including partner-specific goals, strategic solution offerings and apps, investments, talent & ecosystem development, marketing programs, and target accounts.
- Work with GTM and product leadership to drive engagement and creation of Originated and Co-Sold Pipeline with SIs
- Selectively recruit, onboard and develop new SI partners
- Expand both ACV and Services Revenue at target accounts through focused attention, planning, and investment
- Drive market activation of current and future applications and plays with selected partners across offerings within target industry sectors and markets
- Provide oversight of the alliance, including review and approval of regional go-to-market strategy, stakeholder management, and business plan reviews
- Own all communication and activation across Anaplan and with the assigned partners to effectively enable the teams on the strategic go-to-market (GTM) plays, marketing campaigns, case studies, and offerings
- Lead overall stakeholder governance, relationship mapping, and collaboration across the Partner, Alliance team(s), Anaplan leadership, partner success, partner marketing, and customer success teams.
- Continuously monitor and report on progress on business plan goals, risks, achievements, and other partner success KPIs.
- Monitor and assess partner & territory performance by leveraging data and reporting tools weekly to identify performance opportunities and drive corrective action
- Collaborate with Partner Success to drive appropriate sales and technical training for partnership to ensure capability development
- Functions as extended member of the GTM & Product team
- Aligns with Industry Partner Sales Directors and associated industry sales leader on all partner-driven opportunities in the sector, providing deal alignment, guidance from initiation to closure in sales cycles and supports partners throughout the sales process
Your qualifications, your influence
- The successful candidate will have at least 5+ years in Partnerships, Alliances or other sales relates roles and bring a strong knowledge base and a basic understanding of partner, alliance, and channel go-to-market motions. Experience within the finance, supply chain or sales domain is highly preferred. Previous experience working in either sales, go-to-market functions, alliances, or consulting is critical.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, detailed in your approach and collaborative in developing strategic plans, programs, and initiatives.
- Individual must quickly establish relative credibility with Partners, principals & sales teams. They must inspire trust and be viewed as a business partner- capable of enabling, coaching, & supporting partners to position Anaplan in customer-facing engagements.
- Communication is key to success. You will demonstrate your ability to listen, make recommendations, and influence direction when required. You will need to be a strategic problem solver with effective communication & interpersonal skills.
- The successful candidate will be customer focused, achievement-driven, and possess an impressive executive demeanor. They will bring a true team orientation and collaborative approach and excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities.
- Finally, this individual must have a solid level of business maturity, flexibility, and the instincts to adapt to a high-energy, dynamic environment characterized by high growth expectations and a collaborative culture. This individual must work exceptionally well in cooperative teams but also expect to work independently and with a set of diverse individuals regularly
