The typical base salary range for this position is $144.000 - $150.000. Brief Overview
The Account Director, Clinical Program Engagement will play a critical role in the success of Amwell's relationship with assigned Payer Accounts. Success will be measured by client growth in new business, retention, client satisfaction, optimizing program utilization, outcomes, and the financial performance of the overall suite of clinical programs. The primary initial focus of the role will be to develop relationships with assigned Payer Accounts, Brokers, Consultants, and Health Plan Account Executives to successfully expand adoption, enrollment and engagement in Amwell's products and services.
The role requires a seasoned individual contributor that can “roll up their sleeves” and take a direct approach to grow the business. A successful person in this role is an experienced, energetic sales and account management professional and strategist adept in operational excellence, clinical, professional acumen, and the ability to develop and deploy strategic account and employer specific marketing plans to drive towards our stated success metrics. Extensive task management around deliverables, execution of deployment/new launches, account planning, program demonstrations, marketing plans, reporting, QBRs, and internally interfacing and coordinating with finance, marketing, clinical and product resources to support the client. In addition, this role is the day-to-day liaison with the third-party clinical program partners, holding those partners accountable to execute on the engagement plans and to follow the “rules of engagement” with the Amwell client.
The Account Director, Clinical Program Engagement will be assigned specific client accounts, seamlessly interface and gain the trust of clients at all levels, and lead the internal Amwell team through pre and post-sale of commercial accounts, implementations, post go-live, marketing campaigns, reporting and expansion of the existing relationship.
Frequent interaction with the Amwell executive sponsor and other Amwell leads to keep the entire team apprised of client strategies, goals, objectives, and tactical developments is essential. This key position will be focused on client satisfaction and program usage/revenue growth. This revenue growth will be accomplished by maximizing the number of programs deployed, expanding awareness of program availability within the account, adoption and utilization of the company’s existing products, programs, and services within and by identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion. Specifically, the Account Director, Clinical Program Engagement will:
Core Responsibilities
· Collaborate and partner with internal and external assigned account teams to develop a strategic and tactical plan to achieve desired sales, engagement and growth targets
· Responsible for the sale of Amwell’s core products and clinical programs within key accounts.
· Work with third party clinical program partners in the interest of your assigned accounts and support open enrollment and or benefit fairs both in person and remote.
· Effectively support implementation and nurture accounts to ensure optimal performance and success of Clinical Partner Programs through or third-party partners
· Understand business objectives and vision; share those objectives with the Amwell team
· Deep understanding of Health Plans, benefit structures and how Amwell’s products and programs may be implemented and leveraged by the client
· Ability to leverage data analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities for success, and areas needing attention.
· Provide input and suggestions to marketing teams based on client feedback
· Lead presentations and on-site visits with assigned accounts
· Maintain professional internal and external relationships with both the payer account team and the ASO employer benefit team that reflect the core values of Amwell
· Develop specific plans on how to grow existing accounts, maintaining a best practice template and guiding each ASO employer toward it.

Qualifications
· A strong background in working for or with health plans and employers
· Ideal candidate has experience selling, managing, and marketing condition management programs

· Skilled relationship developer
· Possess strong planning and organization skills,
· Background in account management, marketing, program management
· Comfortable dealing with and managing in an extremely fluid, fast-paced environment.
· BS Degree required. 7-10 years’ prior experience working with or for health plans. An ideal candidate will have sold technology products or related services to health plan executives

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field of study required
· 10+ years leading a large-scale customer success organization at a well-regarded brand, preferably in the healthcare IT space
· Experience at a high growth company with distributed operations
· Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think systematically

Commercial Leadership
· Develop and refine platform positioning that differentiates solutions in the payer market

Qualifications
• 8+ years of product marketing or related B2B marketing experience
• Deep fluency in healthcare IT, digital health, or payer markets
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and complex deal cycles
• Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into clear buyer value
• Experience developing sales enablement and go-to-market materials for multi-stakeholder buying environments
• Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Salaried, Exempt Roles
The typical base salary range for this position is $136,170 - $166,430. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.

Brief Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Architect with a focus on healthcare interoperability and enterprise data systems to lead the evolution of our data architecture. This role is critical in reducing institutional reliance on individual contributors by fully documenting existing systems, transferring knowledge, and designing a robust, scalable, and future-ready architecture. The ideal candidate will assess and document the current data ecosystem—particularly our use of UDMH—identify and eliminate operational risks, and guide the organization through a strategic evaluation of proprietary vs. non-proprietary data model options.
