We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Specialist to support ALX Africa’s growth through a balanced mix of end-to-end recruitment and employer brand execution. This role will focus on attracting and hiring high-quality talent across technical and non-technical functions, while also helping shape how ALX is perceived as an employer by candidates and talent communities.
The successful candidate will manage hiring processes, partner closely with hiring managers, and contribute to a positive, efficient, and inclusive candidate experience. In parallel, they will support and execute employer branding initiatives across social media, talent communications, content creation, campaigns, and community engagement to strengthen ALX Africa’s visibility and appeal in the talent market.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the operational side of recruitment and the creative side of storytelling, and who can translate ALX’s mission, culture, and employee value proposition into compelling candidate-facing experiences.

The Talent Development & Experience (TDX) team is responsible for shaping the employee journey at ALX. Our work focuses on designing experiences, systems, and learning opportunities that help employees thrive and do their best work.
The Talent Engagement Specialist is responsible for building and activating a vibrant employee community across ALX.
In a distributed organisation, engagement does not happen by chance. It requires thoughtful design, consistent communication, and meaningful shared experiences.
This role focuses on designing and delivering engagement initiatives, organisational rituals, and communication channels that help employees feel connected, supported, and inspired.
The Talent Engagement Specialist will coordinate key engagement programs, manage internal communication channels, and support the design of employee experiences that strengthen community across the organisation.
