The CyberArk Developer is a skilled security professional responsible for implementing, configuring, and integrating CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions across the enterprise. This role partners with IT, security, and compliance teams to understand business requirements, strengthen privileged access controls, and ensure seamless integration between CyberArk and existing applications and systems. The developer enhances organizational security by protecting privileged accounts, reducing attack surfaces, and safeguarding sensitive data from cyber threats.
Key responsibilities:
• Implement and configure CyberArk PAM components to secure privileged accounts and sensitive credentials
• Develop custom integrations using CyberArk APIs, connectors, and scripts to support application onboarding and platform interoperability
• Ensure secure communication and data exchange between CyberArk and enterprise systems
• Establish privileged access controls, password rotation policies, and session isolation mechanisms
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
• Implement and maintain access control policies and maintain auditable privileged account activity logs
• Create technical documentation including design specifications, configurations, and integration procedures
• Prepare system performance reports and compliance‑related dashboards
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational policies
• Coordinate with project managers to support timely delivery of PAM projects
Here’s what you need:
• At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing IAM solutions
• At least 3–4 years of hands‑on CyberArk PAM engineering or development experience
• Experience with CyberArk APIs, connectors, custom integrations, and platform configuration
• Strong understanding of privileged access security principles
• Experience securing application, database, and system‑level privileged accounts
• Ability to create documentation, dashboards, and technical reports
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work periodically onsite at customer locations (e.g., Fort Belvoir) when required
Nice to have:
• CyberArk CDE Certification (highly desirable)
• Experience supporting federal cybersecurity initiatives
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FISMA, RMF, or NIST standards
• Experience integrating CyberArk with enterprise IAM, SIEM, or ticketing platforms
