Role Overview
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical pillar across our engineering teams. This role is ideal for a highly experienced backend engineer who thrives on solving hard problems, mentoring others, and guiding architecture across multiple domains. You’ll be a multiplier, operating independently, shaping technical direction, and partnering with engineers
and product teams to raise the bar across the organization.
You’ll work across squads to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability, while owning high-impact projects that support our Advertising platform. Whether it’s unblocking performance bottlenecks, leading design for new backend services, or reducing tech debt, your contributions will have a far-reaching impact.
This is a high-impact role where you will not only write mission-critical code but also provide the AI-driven roadmap to help our team automate optimizations and anomaly detection within our data pipelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and lead design for major backend systems across Ads, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Python & Django. You will optimize application performance, focusing on concurrency, memory management, and efficient integration with our data layer.
- Architect and optimize large scale data workflows for Ads. You will be expected to tune complex queries in Hive, Flink, or Trino to reduce latency and cost while maintaining data integrity.
- Actively profile our stack to identify bottlenecks. You should be comfortable moving between high-level architectural planning and low-level query optimization.
- Guide the engineering team in leveraging AI and Machine Learning for predictive analytics, automated QA of data streams, and enhancing our internal decision-making engines.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to address cross team concerns (e.g., shared libraries, infra patterns, tech debt, security)
- Tackle escalated production issues / incidents by providing quick remediations
- Raise the engineering bar through elite code review, technical RFCs and hands on guidance for senior and mid-level engineers.
- Work with EMs and PMs to shape technical roadmap and support long-term platform health.
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years in backend engineering with a proven track record of scaling systems in Ad-Tech, Fintech or High-Scale SaaS.
- Deep expertise in building high concurrency, asynchronous services. You know how to scale Django beyond standard patterns.
- Strong experience with distributed systems (e.g. Flink, Spark, Hive or SingleStore). You are an expert at optimizing distributed joins and partitioned datasets.
- Advanced SQL skills; you can dissect an execution plan and optimize complex analytical queries for both performance and cloud cost.
- Experience managing “Sync vs Async” data flows and ensuring consistency across disparate data stores
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a must.
- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.

Purpose of the Job :
As members of 6sense’s Security department, the Security Engineering team protects the platform across application, infrastructure, and cloud domains. The Vulnerability Operations function ensures that vulnerabilities are identified, triaged, validated, and remediated in a consistent, timely, and risk‑based manner. Senior Security Engineers work closely with Engineering, CloudOps, Product, and GRC teams to operationalize vulnerability management processes, build automation, standardize workflows, and ensure secure-by-default practices.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- Ensure vulnerability management tools (e.g., Wiz, Invicti, Rapid7, GHAS, Ox) are correctly configured for appropriate coverage and accurate detection.
- Perform hands-on triage, validation, and root cause analysis of vulnerabilities across AppSec, InfraSec, and CloudSec.
- Track and report vulnerability status against SLAs, escalating to engineering owners as needed.
- Build and maintain dashboards, filters, reports, and triage scripts to support visibility and automation.
- Assist engineering teams in reproducing and remediating vulnerabilities, providing actionable guidance.
- Support the bug bounty program operations (not ownership), including validation and coordination with engineering teams.
- Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for high-risk systems or changes.
- Participate in initiatives that holistically address systemic or multi‑domain vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to development of automated security testing pipelines for validation of fixes.
- Participate in on-call or off‑hours incident response related to critical vulnerabilities and time‑sensitive patches.
- Contribute to quarterly OKRs and security engineering roadmap initiatives.
Performance Measurement :
- Understands 6sense’s product, architecture, cloud footprint, and environment in depth.
- Takes ownership of vulnerability triage and prioritization while escalating where required.
- Proactively identifies and escalates AI/ML‑related vulnerabilities or misconfigurations in systems integrating LLMs or automated decisioning.
- Meets tight deadlines and SLAs for vulnerability response and validation.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date triage scripts, documentation, dashboards, and workflows.
- Participates in weekly 1:1s and skip levels; provides clear progress updates.
- Supports security engineers and development teams with accurate, actionable analysis.
- Effectively participates in incident response and post‑incident remediation.
Educational and Experience Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering across vulnerability management, AppSec, CloudSec, or InfraSec.
- Experience with vulnerability tools (e.g., Wiz, Rapid7, Invicti, GHAS, SAST/DAST) and triage workflows.
- Understanding of cloud security (AWS preferred) and modern microservices architectures.
- Experience identifying and mitigating AI/ML‑related security risks, including model abuse, prompt‑injection vulnerabilities, and risks introduced by LLM‑based features.
- Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to address vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience with IaC security (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Relevant industry certifications, such as AWS, CNCF, and GIAC are highly desirable

Senior Security Engineer – Application Security (AI Security Focus)
Reporting To: Manager, Security Engineering Function/Dept: Business Technology / Security
About the Role
You will drive platform security initiatives with a primary focus on securing AI/ML systems and models. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and data science teams to ensure robust security for AI-powered features and infrastructure, while maintaining coverage for traditional AppSec domains.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- AI Security Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of security controls for AI/ML models, pipelines, and data flows.
- Vulnerability Management: Ensure coverage of AI/ML and application vulnerabilities using SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and specialized AI security tools.
- Threat Modeling & Red Teaming: Conduct comprehensive threat modeling and AI/ML red teaming exercises, including prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial attack simulations, and vulnerability assessments for AI systems. Assess risks such as adversarial attacks, model theft, data poisoning, privacy risks, and other emerging threats to AI/ML models and pipelines.
- Automation & Tooling: Build and maintain automation pipelines for AI/ML security testing and monitoring.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science to embed security into AI/ML development lifecycles.
- Incident Response: Support detection, triage, and remediation of AI/ML-specific security incidents.
- Training & Advocacy: Facilitate secure development training focused on AI/ML risks and best practices.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report status of vulnerabilities, including AI/ML-specific metrics (e.g., model robustness, data integrity).
- Program Ownership: Design and execute quarterly OKRs for AI/ML security initiatives.
Performance Measurement
- Demonstrates deep understanding of AI/ML security risks and mitigations.
- Leads identification, triage, and management of AI/ML and application security issues.
- Establishes routines for updating documentation, runbooks, and dashboards with AI/ML security content.
- Effectively communicates complex AI/ML security topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- 5+ years in information security, with significant experience in application security and AI/ML security.
- Hands-on experience securing AI/ML models, pipelines, and data within the AI/ML SDLC. · Familiarity with common AI/ML security threats (adversarial attacks, model inversion, data poisoning).
- Experience with security tools for AI/ML (e.g., Adversarial Robustness Toolbox, MLFlow security plugins).
- Development or scripting experience (Python preferred; experience with AI/ML frameworks a plus).
- Excellent communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

About the Role
We are seeking a senior engineering leader to own and evolve the foundational Platform & Infrastructure powering our global product ecosystem. This leader will drive cloud architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale data platforms that enable scalability, reliability, and AI-first innovation.

About the Role :
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Integrations to own and evolve our integration ecosystem, including all data ingress and egress pipelines and third‑party partner integrations. This role is critical to how our platform connects with the broader enterprise technology landscape and delivers reliable, secure, and scalable data flows for our customers and partners.
You will define the strategy, roadmap, and execution for integrations across CRM, MAP, data providers, and partner platforms—balancing customer needs, platform scalability, security, and delivery velocity. This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, product judgment, and cross‑functional leadership.
What You’ll Do :
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the product vision and roadmap for all ingress and egress data pipelines and third‑party integrations
- Define a scalable and extensible integration platform strategy that supports current partners and future ecosystem growth
- Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, partner demand, platform health, and business objectives
- Represent integrations as a first‑class product surface, not just “connectors”
Execution & Delivery :
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of integration initiatives—from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration

About the Role :
At 6sense, data powers our AI‑first products. We’re looking for a Software Engineer III - Data who builds scalable data pipelines and uses AI tools (prompting + vibe coding) as a daily productivity multiplier.
This is not an ML research role. AI here means using LLMs effectively to build faster and better data systems.
What will you own :
- Write production‑grade code in Java or Python.
- Design and optimize high‑performance SQL on large datasets.
- Work with Spark, Hive, Presto, Kafka, or similar technologies
- Leverage generative AI and AI coding tools to accelerate developer productivity, engineering workflows, and automation of repetitive tasks
AI‑Enabled Engineering (Required)
- Use AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) for:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic engineering team responsible for building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
